This is a podcast about advice on the daily struggles that all teenagers tend to go through, and here’s how to deal with them.
In this episode, we go all the way back to the 1950s, bringing people on this episode who were teenagers at this time and comparing it to what life is like for teenagers in this day and age. But, theres a catch. The change in life for teenagers in the last 70 years is not the same for all parts of Canada, it's pretty different wherever you are. As you listen, you can see how I've gotten to prove that statement. This episodes interviewees are Melodie Castelein, Lysette St-Pierre and Megan Cloutier. Serge Côté was also featured at the beginning of the episode. A special thank you to Donna Ghidoni for also giving me lots of useful information. For this podcast's second episode, we take a deep dive into the life of Magdalene Kruse, a German teen at the time of the Second World War. In a story told by Maximillian Lütgens, Magdalene's grandson, we learn about the close contact she had with bombs, soldiers, traumas and about how people who survived the war overcame those traumas, making them even more “mentally strong” than before.
