Ben Rhodes served as one of Barack Obama's closest foreign-policy aides, holding the role of Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and Speechwriting from 2009 to 2017. He acted as the lead negotiator in secret talks that normalised U.S.–Cuba relations and was central in building political support for the Iran nuclear deal. Since leaving government, Rhodes has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump and his efforts to dismantle Obama's foreign policy legacy, moves Rhodes argues have destabilised the world and left America vulnerable.; In June 2026 Rhodes came to Intelligence Squared to make sense of America in 2026 and chart a path back to its democratic ideals. Drawing on his new book All We Say: A History of the United States in Fifteen Speeches, Rhodes traced the long battle over what it means to be American — from Benjamin Franklin's case for compromise to the culture war speeches that foreshadowed Donald Trump. He revealed the extraordinary power that words and oratory have had in redirecting the nation, and asked what they might still achieve at a time when American identity, and truth itself, is fiercely contested. --- This is the first instalment of a two-part episode. "Imagine finishing your work week on Friday, flying to Nepal, summiting Mount Everest — and being back at your desk by the following Monday. Håkon and Hanne Hyttedalen are Norwegian consultants. They work full-time in corporate Oslo. And they have also won ultra trail races, run the UTMB around Mont Blanc, completed a 160-kilometer mountain race in a blizzard with a 77% DNF rate — and this May, they stood on the summit of the highest point on Earth. Together. As a married couple. Today we're getting into exactly how they do it — how they train two hours a day without burning out, what it feels like to nearly not make it off a mountain, and whether any of this is actually accessible to the rest of us. Ken Kunken has a truly remarkable and inspirational story of courage, resilience, determination, and strength of the human spirit. Ken broke his neck playing football for Cornell University in 1970, leaving him almost completely paralyzed from the shoulders down. After a long hospitalization, he returned to Cornell and completed his degree in engineering. He then earned a Master of Arts degree at Cornell in education, and a Master of Education degree at Columbia in psychology. He became a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor and worked for more than 2 years at Abilities, Inc., where he provided vocational and placement counseling for severely disabled individuals. Wanting to accomplish still more, Ken enrolled in Hofstra University's school of Law and worked for more than 40 years as a Nassau County assistant district attorney, where he became a Deputy Bureau Chief. Ken's memoir is titled "I Dream of Things That Never Were: The Ken Kunken Story," and was published in October 2023. He and his lovely wife Anna are the proud parents of triplet boys. Ken shares his experience of trying to navigate his own healing as well as his new reality in an era where little was known about spinal cord injuries, and little to no hope of creating a productive life was presented by the medical community. He describes the many challenges of returning to Columbia in a time before the ADA was established and having navigate around a campus with was not wheelchair accessible. With the help and support of his friends, family, and his many caregivers, Ken managed to achieve what all of the medical "experts' had deemed impossible. He shares many pearls of wisdom including how to make the most of a bad situation, that life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans, just because it has not been done before, does not mean, you cannot do it now, maintaining high expectations for yourself as well as for others, and the importance of giving back and helping others. In this raw, unpolished conversation, Mark brings back best‑selling author, ultra‑runner, and "billion‑dollar strategist" Dan Waldschmidt for a deep dive into what he calls the "not yet zone" – the liminal hallway between who you were and who you're becoming. They go way past highlight reels and talk honestly about divorce, losing a parent, sleepless nights, and the heavy responsibility of leading people when you feel completely lost yourself. Dan shares what it's really like to step off the stage, go dark on social, buy a near‑bankrupt company, run it for years as CEO, and then hand the keys to someone else so he can face the question, "What's after Edgy?" He unpacks Misogi – choosing a seemingly impossible challenge on purpose and walks through his brutal 100‑mile race in the Florida Keys, where heat, dehydration, and a 7‑mile bridge turned finishing into a full-on spiritual battle. Together, Mark and Dan build a practical playbook for surviving the "in‑between": why you can't trust your 2 a.m. emotions, how movement changes your brain chemistry, where post‑traumatic growth comes from, the power of reaching out instead of isolating, and why small acts of generosity and sharing your story might be the very things that pull you through the forge. If you feel like you're stuck in a long hallway with no doors, this episode will remind you you're not crazy, you're not alone, and you're not done. https://www.linkedin.com/in/danielwaldschmidt/ Chapters: 00:00 – Intro: Mark, Dan & 10+ Years of Friendship Who Dan is, "Edgy Conversations" selling ~700k copies, billion‑dollar strategy work, and why he disappeared from the spotlight to build his own company. 07:10 – The Liminal "Not Yet" Zone & The Long Hallway Defining liminality, the "not yet zone," foggy seasons, and why most of life is spent between what was and what will be. 14:55 – Misogi & Ultra‑Running: Choosing Hard Things on Purpose Dan's 38,000 miles, 200‑mile races, 3,100‑mile goals, Misogi explained, and how his son's first half‑marathon changed his identity. 24:20 – Grief, Fog, and Not Trusting 2 A.M. Emotions Mark on losing his mom, supporting his dad, running a growing business, and learning to stop believing every catastrophic thought in the dark. 33:50 – Impostor Feelings, Healthy Paranoia & Leadership Anxiety Balancing high standards with self‑doubt, over‑forecasting worst‑case scenarios, and catching yourself when fear turns irrational. 47:30 – Movement as Medicine: Fit45, Running & "Something Is Better Than Nothing" Why exercise is a chemical reset, doing 20 minutes instead of zero, and using small wins to pull yourself out of emotional spirals. 52:50 – Inside the Keys 100: Heat, Vomiting & Finishing Third Dan's full 100‑mile race story: goals, 7‑mile bridge, kidneys and nausea, his crew, missing his time target but finishing as first American & what that did to his mindset. 1:06:50 – Post‑Traumatic Growth vs. PTSD & Helping Others While You're Hurting Mark's jail story, owning your part, veterans, mentoring others, and how serving people in their pain rewires your own. 1:15:40 – Generosity, Presence & Reframing Scarcity TD Jakes' "spontaneous generosity," giving time in the middle of a busy day, and how giving convinces your brain you actually have enough. 1:24:20 – The Forge, The Roof, and Doing Everything You Can The blacksmith/forge metaphor, "quit tomorrow," and the Gospel story of friends tearing off a roof to get their friend to Jesus – faith plus insane action. 1:32:30 – Dan's 6‑Step Playbook for the Not‑Yet Zone & Where to Find Him Recap (don't trust wild emotions, don't quit, move your body, reach out, be generous, learn from others' stories), plus Dan's newsletter at fyra.co and how to help push "Edgy Conversations" past 1 million copies. We are BACK, teacher besties, and I have SO much to catch you up on. It's the season three premiere of How to Survive the Classroom, and Gerry has arrived with a NEW nose ring, a PASSED edTPA, and a very concerning number of years since his last dentist appointment. Buckle up. We recap Gerry's full edTPA journey and then get into a real conversation kicked off by my 100-year-old grandpa, who was a teacher for seven years before he quit, largely because he was frustrated that pay was tied to years of service instead of actual skill. Fifty years later, that same debate is still going, and we dig into merit-based pay, the limits of standardized testing, and why electives teachers get left out of the conversation entirely. Then we jump into back-to-school fan questions: what NOT to do your first year, the worst icebreakers ever, and how new teachers can actually protect their time. Plus, an unhinged Two Truths and a Lie round where Gerry casually mentions being present for an Easter Sunday prison riot and I have some follow-up questions. ORDER MY NEW BOOK (AVAILABLE NOW)!!! — https://bit.ly/49CZ5A0 Takeaways: Do NOT coach your first year of teaching. Even if you love the sport, the workload will bury you. Wait until year two if you can. Please do not become a teacher just because you want to coach. Coaching is its own career path, teaching kids just to earn a whistle isn't fair to the students in your classroom. Watch your icebreakers. Two Truths and a Lie in a class of 30 will take the entire period AND leave you exposed to whatever wild thing a student wants to reveal. Choose carefully. Do the work at school. Grading, prep, and lesson planning inside the building beats opening your laptop at 9 PM every night. Protect your home time. The teacher pay debate has been the same conversation for 50+ years. Both skill and years of service matter, but standardized test scores mostly measure the poverty level of an area, so any "merit-based" system needs a smarter way to measure real impact. -- Teachers' night out? Tom Szaky built TerraCycle into a recycling giant, then decided recycling wasn't good enough. His new venture, Loop, aimed to replace disposable packaging with reusable containers for brands like Tide and Häagen-Dazs. Consumers loved it. Retailers loved it. Send us Fan MailWhat if the most important education a child could receive isn't found in a textbook... but within themselves? In this profoundly inspiring episode of Self Reflection Podcast, host Lira Ndifon sits down with Andre, founder of Inner City Bliss, for a conversation that challenges the way we think about education, mental health, parenting, and community healing. As anxiety, depression, loneliness, and emotional burnout continue to rise among young people, one question becomes impossible to ignore:Are we preparing children for success... or simply teaching them how to survive?Drawing from his own journey growing up in a deeply segregated neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Andre reflects on how his early experiences shaped his understanding of trauma, resilience, and the urgent need for emotional healing. His story isn't just about overcoming adversity—it's about transforming pain into purpose.Through Inner City Bliss, Andre has dedicated his life to helping children and families reconnect with themselves through mindfulness, movement, nature, meditation, breathwork, and emotional awareness. His mission is simple yet revolutionary: equip the next generation with the inner tools needed to navigate life's challenges long before crisis arrives.Together, Lira and Andre explore why so many schools prepare children academically while overlooking emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and mental well-being—the very skills that shape how we experience every aspect of life. This conversation is a powerful reminder that healing doesn't begin in adulthood. It begins with the environments we create, the conversations we encourage, and the emotional habits we model every day.Inside This Episode:Why anxiety among young people continues to riseThe hidden effects of generational and inherited traumaHow parents unknowingly pass emotional patterns to their childrenWhy mindfulness and meditation belong in our schoolsThe connection between nature, movement, and emotional well-beingHelping children regulate emotions instead of suppressing themThe responsibility of parents, educators, and community leadersHow social media shapes mental health and emotional identityWhy helpers must first become healers themselvesBuilding communities rooted in resilience, compassion, and hopeAt its heart, Self Reflection Podcast continues its mission of tackling mental health and some of the most poignant issues facing our communities. This episode reminds us that true transformation begins from the inside out—and that healing one child has the power to change an entire generation. If you're a parent, educator, mentor, community leader, or simply someone committed to becoming the healthiest version of yourself, this conversation will leave you inspired to rethink what it truly means to nurture the next generation.Because when we teach children how to understand their minds, regulate their emotions, and care for themselves, we don't just improve individual lives—we strengthen entire communities. The future isn't built only by what children learn. It's shaped by how deeply they learn to know themselves.

We talk about all that and a bit more in this off-weekend edition of the Kickstart Podcast, presented by Maxxis.
In this lesson from the Gate of Torah (Shaar HaTorah), Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe traces the remarkable chain of the Oral Torah from Mount Sinai through the generations. Every mitzvah, together with its explanation, was given to Moshe Rabbeinu at Sinai. While the Written Torah records the commandments, the Oral Torah preserves the practical details that make those commandments possible to observe. This sacred transmission—from teacher to student, generation after generation—ensures that Torah remains authentic, living, and faithful to its Divine source.Rabbi Wolbe explains how the Oral Torah was eventually committed to writing as circumstances demanded. Faced with persecution, exile, and the fear that Torah knowledge would be forgotten, Rabbi Yehudah HaNasi compiled the Mishnah. Centuries later, the Talmud expanded upon it, and generations of scholars—including the Geonim, Rashi, and the Rambam—continued organizing and clarifying Torah so that every generation could understand Hashem's will. Far from inventing new ideas, these Torah giants faithfully organized, explained, and transmitted what had already been received. The lesson also highlights the extraordinary accessibility of Torah in our own generation. Rabbi Wolbe reflects on how previous generations treasured even a single volume of Talmud, while today thousands of Torah classes, translations, and sefarim are available with the touch of a button. This abundance carries a responsibility: to seize the opportunity and immerse ourselves in Torah study with gratitude and purpose. Finally, Rabbi Wolbe returns to one of the central themes of the Gate of Torah: review, review, review. Torah is not mastered through a single exposure but through constant repetition until it becomes part of who we are. The great sages reviewed their learning countless times, allowing Torah to become second nature. Their message is timeless: learn consistently, review faithfully, and allow the Torah to shape your heart, mind, and life._____________This Podcast Series is Generously Underwritten by Peter & Becky BotvinRecorded at TORCH Centre in the Levin Family Studios (B) to a live audience on February 9, 2026, in Houston, Texas.Released as Podcast on August 3, 2026_____________This series on Orchos Tzadikim/Ways of the Righteous is produced in partnership with Hachzek.Join the revolution of daily Mussar study at hachzek.com.We are using the Treasure of Life edition of the Orchos Tzadikkim (Published by Feldheim)_____________Listen, Subscribe & Share: Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/jewish-inspiration-podcast-rabbi-aryeh-wolbe/id1476610783Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4r0KfjMzmCNQbiNaZBCSU7) to stay inspired! No one loves to lose. But even if you are a GOAT on a great AND lucky team (and sure, we can debate about who the GOAT is – drop us a line at goodsport@ted.com), no one wins every time. So how do people who face loss after loss keep fighting to win? Jody speaks with Nikky McCray, a retired WNBA player who played on three All-Star teams and now coaches at Rutgers, about the secrets to perseverance. Then he chats with psychologist and neuroscientist Ian Robertson to discuss what losing can teach us about winning. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

LIV Golf may be filing for bankruptcy—but could a $250 million investment save the league before it's too late? In this episode of The Golf Podcast we break down the biggest and most confusing LIV Golf story yet as reports emerge that the league is preparing for a potential bankruptcy filing while, at the very same time, other reports claim LIV has secured up to $250 million in new investment to keep the league alive. We unpack what these seemingly contradictory headlines really mean, why bankruptcy doesn't necessarily signal the end of LIV Golf, and how a restructuring could pave the way for a dramatically different LIV Golf 2.0 built around player equity and outside investors. We also discuss what this could mean for stars like Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau, whether players would choose ownership over guaranteed contracts, and if the league can realistically survive with a leaner schedule and reduced purses. Plus, we revisit the mystery surrounding LIV's Michigan Team Championship after reports of its cancellation stalled without an official announcement, and debate whether a last-minute funding deal could change everything. Is LIV Golf truly on the verge of collapse, or is this simply the next chapter in its evolution? Join us as we separate fact from speculation and examine what could be the most pivotal moment in LIV Golf's short but turbulent history. Frank and Jonathan are on vacation, so they dumped out a jar of ten random prompts and let the conversation run wherever it wanted. The result is a loose, funny grab-bag that swings from tabletop confessions to actual streaming news. They open by asking whether their D&D characters could survive a single day in the real world, which turns into a live rescue plan for Jonathan's volatile, faith-questioning gunslinger and a great story about the priest who quietly let a party member die. From there it is physical media versus streaming (with a Netflix boycott and a terabyte of movies packed for a cruise), the most toxic fandom corners (Pokemon card scalping, weighed packs, and Star Wars media literacy), the games everyone owns but never finishes, retro comebacks worth reviving, and the classics they think are a little overrated. The back half gets newsier with Good Mythical Morning heading to Netflix as a daily show, a debate about Emmy legitimacy versus chasing a new algorithm, and a closing round on which fictional universe would actually be miserable to live in. Timestamps and Topics 00:00 Intro and Vacation Filler Setup 00:24 Would Your D&D Character Survive Real Life? 07:03 Physical Media vs. Streaming 10:32 The Most Toxic Fandom Corners 17:11 Games You Own but Never Finished, Plus Retro Comebacks 22:05 Overrated Classics and Villain Redemption Arcs 27:07 Casting the D&D Campaign 29:11 Good Mythical Morning Heads to Netflix 34:36 The Fictional Universe That Would Actually Suck Key Takeaways Instead of retiring a chaotic character, Frank pitches turning Jonathan's crisis-of-faith gunslinger into someone actively fighting a chaos god, a reminder that a table can repair a character rather than shelve it. The physical media conversation lands on owning your favorites, fueled by climbing Netflix prices, Christmas movies that vanish from streaming, and a stack of downloads big enough to survive a stranded cruise ship. Pokemon card culture gets named the most toxic fandom corner, from pack-weighing and resale fights to Target reportedly cutting boxes open to kill the scalper market. Media literacy is the throughline for the Star Wars and Dungeon Crawler Carl "too woke" complaints, since both were anti-fascist and anti-capitalist from the start. Gaming talk hits the Oblivion remaster, cautious hope for Elder Scrolls VI amid Xbox layoffs and Bethesda leaning on proven IP, and one very honest Elden Ring skill check. Good Mythical Morning moving to Netflix drives the biggest debate: fresh cash and Emmy legitimacy on one side, the risk of chasing a new algorithm and turning away from YouTube on the other. Quotes "If you think it's too woke, it's been that way from the beginning." "We have to make our point with our wallet." "I return and tell him he was already dead." "I got my ass handed to me so hard I returned it within two hours." "Don't turn your back on YouTube after you literally built your success." Colonel Drew Miller, former Pentagon analyst and retired Air Force commander, joins the program for a serious conversation about the possibility of a functional societal collapse—how likely it is, what it could actually look like, and which systems are most vulnerable. We discuss how failures in critical infrastructure, supply chains, government services, and public order could cascade into a much larger crisis, along with some of the difficult and controversial decisions individuals and communities could face if the systems they depend on stop functioning.Miller also discusses Constitutional rights and his belief that Americans have both the right and responsibility to refuse unlawful or unconstitutional orders. We examine how independent judgment, preparation, and strong communities could become critical when institutions fail—and why protecting yourself, your family, and your community may require thinking through uncomfortable scenarios before a crisis arrives. Tributes have been paid to the journalist and broadcaster Edward Stourton, who died this month, aged 68. Paul Vallely writes in the Church Times this week: “Ed's faith strengthened his journalism because it gave him a deeper insight into the truth. There is no finer exemplar of the vocation of journalism than Edward Stourton.” Last year, Edward Stourton delivered the Sir Tony Baldry Lecture in Winchester Cathedral as part of the Church Times Festival of Faith and Literature. The lecture examined how truth can survive in a digital age, and explained why truth-telling still matters. “Technology can create challenges as well as opportunities,” he said. “Today's digital landscape offers us an abundance — a superabundance — of sources for information, something unimaginable in the 1940s, and, indeed, in the three-television-channel world I joined in the 1970s. If we're offered several versions of the truth, it is only natural to prefer the version which best fits our views and prejudices, and that's a real challenge facing us in what's sometimes called the mainstream media. So, how do we meet that challenge?” Read Paul Vallely's article here: https://www.churchtimes.co.uk/articles/2026/31-july/comment/columnists/paul-vallely-for-edward-stourton-journalism-was-a-vocation

Biological War: A Scenario with Annie Jacobsen Today we're joined by bestselling author and investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen to discuss her brand-new book, Biological War: A Scenario. Annie is the author of Area 51, Operation Paperclip, The Pentagon's Brain, Surprise, Kill, Vanish, and one of our favorites, Nuclear War: A Scenario. In this episode, we talk with Annie about why she moved from nuclear war to biological war, how a biological attack could unfold, and why the pathogen itself may only be part of the disaster. We get into public distrust after Covid, how misinformation and panic could make a biological event far worse, and how quickly a crisis like this could overwhelm institutions, hospitals, government response, and normal civilian life. We also discuss how biological war could spiral into military escalation or even nuclear conflict, what continuity-of-government plans and martial law might look like, and how regular people can think about preparedness without living in fear. This is a heavy one, but it's an important conversation about one of the most unsettling threats facing the modern world. In This Episode Why Annie wrote Biological War after Nuclear War: A Scenario The basic scenario behind the new book Why public trust may be one of the biggest survival factors How Covid changed the way people respond to public health warnings Biological weapons, engineered pathogens, and institutional failure How misinformation, rumors, and panic could accelerate collapse Why a biological event could lead to military escalation How a pathogen crisis could potentially trigger nuclear decisions Continuity of government, martial law, and emergency powers What regular people should do with terrifying information like this How to take biological threats seriously without becoming consumed by fear Sponsors BattlBox Get solid outdoor, survival, EDC, and adventure gear delivered monthly. If we want democracy to survive, here's what we need to understand: Donald Trump is actually acting normal. Marc Elias, founder of Democracy Docket, explains the important distinction between abnormal and immoral, why the courts should do away with the presumption of regularity, and what Democrats need to do to create a better, moral “new normal.”
SET FREE SISTERHOOD- Mindset and Over drinking Coach -Thriving Alcohol Free- Faith Filled Women
One of the questions I hear most often is this: "What if my husband still drinks?" Maybe that's how you've always connected. Maybe he's perfectly happy having a beer while grilling or a glass of wine at dinner, and he doesn't understand why it's so hard for you. Maybe you've wondered if you can really change when alcohol is still part of your home. The answer is yes. Your healing doesn't depend on someone else's choices. It depends on the decisions you make each day to care for yourself, renew your mind, and trust God with the rest. Will it feel uncomfortable at times? Absolutely. Your relationship may shift as you create new habits, set healthier boundaries, and discover new ways to connect. But remember this: You don't have to convince your husband to change before you begin changing yourself. One of the greatest gifts you can give your relationship is becoming more emotionally healthy, more present, and more grounded in who God created you to be. That doesn't mean controlling someone else's behavior. It means leading with love, communicating honestly, and letting go of the pressure to carry what isn't yours. If you've been waiting for your husband to be "ready" before you pursue your own freedom, I hope today gives you permission to stop waiting. Your peace matters. Your health matters. Your freedom matters. And you're not alone in this. This week's episode of the Set Free Sisterhood Podcast dives deeper into this conversation, and I think it will encourage you if this has been weighing on your heart. I'm cheering you on every step of the way. With love, Michelle Host, Set Free Sisterhood Podcast Ready to get support or even curious? Email me michelle@setfreesisterhood.com

How to Survive a Shock PodcastFIVE PRIMARY POINTS of the PODCASTGreat leaders replace uncertainty with courage, faith, and hope.Drawing on lessons from the Campbell Trophy Summit, former Intuit CEO Brad Smith argued that leadership is about helping people navigate uncertainty by choosing courage over comfort, faith over cynicism, and hope over resignation. Purpose fuels courage, leaders build confidence by believing in others before they believe in themselves, and every person's work should connect to a larger mission.Consistency beats intensity over the long run.Athletic Brewing CEO Bill Shufelt shared how he realized he was “climbing a ladder leaning against the wrong wall.” After prioritizing his health and family, he built an $800 million company without returning to burnout. His key lesson: “Consistency outruns intensity over any long horizon.” Sustainable effort produces greater success than relentless hustle.Small changes, amplified by AI, can create extraordinary results.Nuclear engineer Dr. Tom Burns described how AI agents, trained to emulate his team's best engineer, identified a seemingly insignificant design change—a 0.1-inch modification to a centrifugal contactor—that doubled processing efficiency, accelerated a five-year project to less than a year, and saved taxpayers an estimated $5 billion. The lesson: identify the single metric that matters most and use AI as a collaborative partner to pursue transformational, not incremental, improvements.Elite performers share common principles.Across years of Campbell Trophy Summit speakers, recurring themes emerged: embrace difficult challenges (William McRaven), work to become “twice as good” and view struggle as a privilege (Condoleezza Rice), pair big dreams with disciplined execution (Steve Young), take action (”Let's go”—Ronnie Lott), be fully present for others, prioritize purpose over popularity, and lose yourself in service. Curiosity, humility, and grit consistently define high performers.Approach peptides with scientific caution, not hype. The podcast concludes with a review of the FDA advisory committee's recommendation regarding compounded BPC-157. While the committee recommended allowing compounding under specific circumstances, the evidence for safety and effectiveness remains limited. Dr. Mishra concludes that, for routine wellness or minor injuries, the current evidence does not justify widespread use. Until stronger human data exist, peptides should be reserved, if considered at all, for carefully selected patients who understand the uncertainties and risks.Copyright, VyVerse LLC. Jordan Anderson's path to becoming a NASCAR team owner was anything but conventional. From pitching sponsors as a 12-year-old to selling his Super Late Model after being caught in the fallout of a series of bounced checks, Jordan shares the moments that kickstarted a racing career that began with one simple goal: making a single NASCAR Truck Series start. That one start turned into a full-time season, which ultimately led to the birth of Jordan Anderson Racing. From handshake deals to changing engines in hotel parking lots, Jordan was willing to do whatever it took to survive. Along the way, he met his future business partner, John Bommarito, whose mentorship helped take the organization to the next level. Jordan explains why he eventually stepped away from chasing his own driving dream, how he built an O'Reilly Series team from the ground up, and the business decisions that have helped the organization survive and grow into its current technical alliance with series powerhouse Richard Childress Racing. Jordan also reflects on buying scuff tires instead of attending driver introductions, balancing budgets while trying to stay competitive, developing young talent, and why fatherhood has changed the way he leads his team. This episode of Business of Motorsports is packed with lessons on perseverance, leadership, and building something bigger than yourself.
