On this episode of the Legacy Podcast, I sat down with Reginald Smith, a businessman born in George Town, Exuma. Mr. Smith is a graduate of Adelphi University, having had an extensive career in the Media industry, prior to getting into Real Estate. He is the current President of Exuma Pride and a former Exuma Chamber of Commerce President.

On Novemeber 9th, 2020, I had the honor of sitting down with businessman and Exuma Chamber of Commerce President Pedro Rolle. Mr. Rolle shared his educational and business journey, as well as his thoughts on how Exuma can continue on its path towards empowerment.

On November 20th, 2019 I visited the Kevin G. Tomilson Academy and got to learn more about the academy and its founder Kevin Tomilson. I was joined by a People to People International group who Ms. Ginger Moxey and her organization 700 Partners Non Profit have been working with to distribute art supplies to various elementary schools on Grand Bahama Island.

On the 4th of May 2019, Mr. Darrin Rolle blessed me with the opportunity to speak to the young men of his Falcons Boys Club on the importance of planning. I commend Mr. Rolle for his tireless efforts directed towards the advancement of our youth.

On the 8th of July 2019, I was blessed with the opportunity to be a camp counselor at an entrepreneurship camp on the island of Grand Bahama called Camp Tycoon. Sasha Pinder and Denzal Swain came up with the idea and I enjoyed being a part of the experience.

In this video I was given an opportunity to speak on the NextGen and Entrepreneurship panel at the annual Sister Cities International Conference in Aurora, Colorado. I was joined by fellow panelist Jeremy Priest and Alex Wise. Carlo Capua moderated the discussion.

It's a common question, here's my perspective.

On the 9th of October 2018, my brother Zach Sharp blessed me with an opportunity to be a guest on his Uncle Sharp Podcast. Me and Zach met at The McCallie School in Chattanooga where we formed a tremendously strong bond and both graduated in the 2014 Class. Since then we have stayed connected and even after high school he and his mother have continued to show love and invite me to their home for Thanksgiving Breaks. The Sharp's are an amazing family and I enjoyed this conversation with my brother!

On the 26th of June 2019, I was blessed with the opportunity to speak at the Life After High School Seminar. The event was organized by Mrs. Deborah Pratt, a person I truly appreciate and commend for the efforts she puts toward ensuring our youth are empowered.

On a business trip in Aug 2018, I had the pleasure of connecting with fellow Bahamian Rashad Fox. Rashad is an ambitious entrepreneur who I'm certain will attain great success in life. He showed me around the city and we had a great discussion on LinkedIn and how it can be leverage. Amazing to see how we've both utilized it since this discussion.

On the 4th of August 2019, I was invited to be a guest speaker at the Convo Q Something To Talk About Workshop in Freeport, Grand Bahama. In this speech I provided insight on key steps involved in creating contagious content and the importance of branding. Quetel put on a wonderful event and I look forward to supporting in the future.

During a meeting on August 17th, 2019, a business associate presented his perspective on what an entrepreneur is to me, and I really felt it was something that should be shared.

On the 15th of August 2019, I had the pleasure of being invited to the University of The Bahamas' Northern Campus to speak at their Student Leadership Seminar. The topics I addressed were Club Recruitment, Marketing & Retention. Special thank you to Mrs. Leslie Lewis for organizing the event and inviting me to speak! #UBStrong #GBStrong

On Saturday the 29th of June 2019, I was invited to Exuma to be a guest speaker at the PLP Headquarters in Ramsey. The topic I addressed would be the effective use of social media. I enjoyed my time spent in Exuma, and providing insight on the effective and efficient utilization of social media.

Last week a Category Five Hurricane named Dorian devastated The Abacos and Grand Bahama Island. As a native of Grand Bahama Island I’ve felt this devastation firsthand, and in the midst of all the chaos want to share some of my initial thoughts with regard to the events that have occurred.

On March 25, 2019 I got the opportunity to sit down for an interview with Ms. Yolanda Hanna on the Power 104.5 Midday Rush. Ms. Hanna asked me a lot of interesting questions about my entrepreneurial journey and ways I think others can go about overcoming their fears and making the entrepreneurial leap.

When I think of locations I want to build a legacy amongst my people, Eight Mile Rock dominates the primary position on my mind. It's the community where my mother and father grew up, and a community I spent most of my childhood. When the opportunity to speak to the students in this community at the Young King's Seminar presented itself, I was excited to say the least. The event was organized by Davon Robinson a senior at Eight Mile Rock High School. I truly enjoyed this interaction with the many young geniuses the Eight Mile Rock community has.

On March 26th, 2019 I sat down with the talented Italia Hall in my Immerse Global office for an interview that would be featured on ZNS Bahamas' Gen Y series. In the interview I shed some light on who I am, my passions and the business I'm involved in. I feel that in life it's important to know who you are, so I share that with you in this episode. It's all about Legacy! You gotta know who you are.
