Steve from Matthew 5:42 Ministries, and Briseidy and Hallee from Next Generation for Christ joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about their service to the community, volunteer needs, monthly community meals, working with the homeless, and clothing and furniture assistance. A group of dedicated teens from Next Generation for Christ is making a difference in Kewanee by organizing free monthly community meals at First Christian Church, which are on the last Saturday of the month. Volunteers of all ages prepare and serve food, with donations in the form of cash, checks, or supplies eagerly accepted. Their efforts extend beyond meal service, as members personally deliver food to homebound individuals and those experiencing homelessness. Their efforts don't stop there; December will see a Christmas event offering crafts and fun for kids, while parents can enjoy a night out. They will need volunteers to assist in babysitting the children. Partnering closely with Matthew 5:42 Ministries, they also support initiatives in furniture, clothing, and resources such as job applications and resumes. The Thanksgiving community dinner drew an impressive 148 attendees, with 30 dedicated volunteers serving up hearty meals. Organizers expressed gratitude as every bite was enjoyed, leaving behind no leftovers, a remarkable feat considering previous years often resulted in surplus food donations to local hospitals and emergency workers. The demand for meals underscores a growing need in the community. Organizers encourage local teens and anyone interested to join efforts through volunteer programs such as Key Club or Matthew 5:42, extending a warm invitation to both contributors and helpers. The First Christian Church is coordinating volunteer sign-ups and donation opportunities. Call 309-853-4298 if you need assistance, want to volunteer, or want to donate. A local church is preparing a special Christmas festival this December, offering a unique opportunity for parents to enjoy holiday shopping or a night out while their children are cared for. Aimed at kids ages five to eleven who are potty-trained, the event promises crafts, games, and a variety of fun activities. Organizers are still finalizing the exact date, with December 13th as the tentative choice. Updates and finalized details will be shared on the church's "Next Generation for Christ" Facebook page. Volunteers with skills in babysitting, crafts, or creative arts are encouraged to get involved and help make the event a festive success. First Christian Church is preparing to launch a community food pantry, with donations of canned goods now being accepted. Michelle Quagliano will lead this new outreach, an extension of the Matthew 5:42 ministry. The initiative is supported by a dedicated team, each focusing on essential needs—from Paula handling clothing distribution to Steve managing furniture donations. The food pantry is expected to open its doors soon, once shelves are fully stocked. Next-Gen, a local youth group, is also collaborating to ensure success. Organizers invite the community to contribute as they work together to address hunger and support families in need. Next Generation for Christ, launched three years ago, embarked on their journey with a visit to a Native American Reservation in Arapaho, Wyoming—a trip that left a lasting impact on its members. Beyond providing meals, the organization extends support to the community through various outreach activities. Volunteers assist with educational programs, youth mentorship, and cultural exchange events, fostering strong connections. They participate in cleanup projects and help facilitate access to essential resources. Group members emphasize that their mission goes beyond service, aiming to build lasting relationships and address the broader needs of the local population. Matthew 542 has become a cornerstone in the Kewanee community, focusing not only on feeding those in need but also building lasting trust with the area's homeless population. Over the last five years, this initiative—anchored by the First Christian Church—has expanded to reach more individuals, partnering with groups like Next Gen and Finish Well Ministries. Volunteers regularly deliver meals and essentials, fostering relationships and understanding. The unique approach ensures everyone is welcome at community dinners, regardless of their circumstances. Organizers say the key is treating guests with respect and dignity, paving the way for further help and spiritual support. Paula is gearing up to launch a series of clothing drives starting in January, aimed at providing essential items to those in need. Alongside these initiatives, resource fairs and job application workshops are planned to empower community members with new skills and opportunities. Within the Matthew 5:42 service, volunteers and staff often work shoulder to shoulder with recipients, forging a sense of shared purpose. Michelle also has exciting updates on the food pantry, ensuring broader community support. Many recipients of furniture assistance become regular volunteers, a clear sign of impact as the cycle of giving continues to grow and inspire others.

In this episode of the Business of Aesthetics Podcast, host Don Adeesha convenes an expert panel featuring Plastic Surgeon Dr. Gregory Buford, Entrepreneur Tiffany DiGiuseppe, Marketing CEO Naren Arulrajah, and Aesthetic Nurse Sonya Ellis to decode the future of practice growth. The conversation tackles the critical challenge of distinguishing between profitable innovation and "shiny object syndrome." Dr. Buford warns against investing in fleeting "trends" (likening them to Beanie Babies) versus sustainable "trending" technologies. He introduces the powerful strategy of "pre-marketing", generating patient demand and a waitlist six weeks before a device is even purchased, to ensure immediate ROI and prevent expensive equipment from becoming a "coat hanger" in the device graveyard. On the operational and digital front, the discussion shifts to navigating the age of AI. Naren Arulrajah explains that while AI is transforming search, Google still prioritizes "human content" and authority (E-E-A-T) over AI-generated text. He urges owners to abandon vanity metrics like website visits in favor of hard ROI metrics, such as call volume and booking conversions, to survive the rise of "zero-click" searches. Complementing this, Tiffany DiGiuseppe argues that technology fails without culture. She outlines a blueprint for hiring based on core values rather than just clinical skills and retaining top talent through shared experiences and group bonuses that foster collective ownership of the practice's mission. Finally, Sonya Ellis provides a candid look at the changing clinical landscape, noting a significant 15-20% dip in traditional filler usage due to economic shifts. She argues that the future of profitability lies in the pivot toward "regenerative medicine", biostimulators, lasers, and functional health, driven by a patient desire to be "pretty on the inside and out". The panel also explores how to capitalize on the "Ozempic effect," which has surged demand for body tightening and hair restoration, and highlights the massive, underserved potential of the menopausal demographic as a key driver for future revenue.

In this episode of the CPQ Podcast, Frank Sohn sits down with Suren Reddy, founder of Cloudely, for a deep dive into where Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) is heading—especially inside the Salesforce ecosystem. If you're evaluating Salesforce CPQ, or wondering what Revenue Cloud Advanced really changes, this conversation is for you. Suren breaks down Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) and Revenue Cloud Billing (RCB) in practical terms: why Salesforce is positioning them as the next-gen replacement for traditional CPQ, what's new in product, pricing, and catalog architecture, and how quote-to-cash is becoming a single, unified revenue platform. He shares real implementation expectations too—why RCA projects are now trending closer to 4–8 months due to expanded analysis and design, and how that tradeoff can pay off in fewer downstream touchpoints and stronger ROI. The discussion also explores the fast-moving AI layer around CPQ. Suren explains Salesforce's move toward multi-agent workflows through Agentforce, the role of Model Context Protocol (MCP) as an open standard for secure tool/data interaction, and what "Agentforce Vibes" (agentic development) could mean for accelerating CPQ and revenue applications. You'll hear a concrete AI use case he's seeing today: the Margin Optimization Agent, designed to recommend profitable product bundles while improving customer outcomes. Finally, Suren shares what he's hearing from customers about the Conga/PROS acquisition, why many are re-evaluating their CPQ options, and what demand signals he expects to rebound in 2026. Plus, a look at Cloudely's growth in India and emerging verticals like dairy, cement, and textiles. Tune in for a grounded, forward-looking CPQ conversation packed with Salesforce Revenue Cloud insights, AI realism, and customer-driven market perspective. Subscribe to the CPQ Podcast for more interviews on CPQ software, quote-to-cash, pricing, and revenue transformation.

Artificial intelligence is completely changing how data centers are built and operated. What used to be relatively stable IT environments are now turning into massive power ecosystems. The main reason is simple — AI workloads need far more computing power, and that means far more energy. We're already seeing a sharp rise in total power consumption across the industry, but what's even more striking is how much power is packed into each rack. Not long ago, most racks were designed for 5 to 15 kilowatts. Today, AI-heavy setups are hitting 50 to 70 kW, and the next generation could reach up to 1 megawatt per rack. That's a huge jump — and it's forcing everyone in the industry to rethink power delivery, cooling, and overall site design. At those levels, traditional AC power distribution starts to reach its limits. That's why many experts are already discussing a move toward high-voltage DC systems, possibly around 800 volts. DC systems can reduce conversion losses and handle higher densities more efficiently, which makes them a serious option for the future. But with all this growth comes a big question: how do we stay responsible? Data centers are quickly becoming some of the largest power users on the planet. Society is starting to pay attention, and communities near these sites are asking fair questions — where will all this power come from, and how will it affect the grid or the environment? Building ever-bigger data centers isn't enough; we need to make sure they're sustainable and accepted by the public. The next challenge is feasibility. Supplying hundreds of megawatts to a single facility is no small task. In many regions, grid capacity is already stretched, and new connections take years to approve. Add the unpredictable nature of AI power spikes, and you've got a real engineering and planning problem on your hands. The only realistic path forward is to make data centers more flexible — to let them pull energy from different sources, balance loads dynamically, and even generate some of their own power on-site. That's where ComAp's systems come in. We help data center operators manage this complexity by making it simple to connect and control multiple energy sources — from renewables like solar or wind, to backup generators, to grid-scale connections. Our control systems allow operators to build hybrid setups that can adapt in real time, reduce emissions, and still keep reliability at 100%. Just as importantly, ComAp helps with the grid integration side. When a single data center can draw as much power as a small city, it's no longer just a “consumer” — it becomes part of the grid ecosystem. Our technology helps make that relationship smoother, allowing these large sites to interact intelligently with utilities and maintain overall grid stability. And while today's discussion is mostly around AC power, ComAp is already ready for the DC future. The same principles and reliability that have powered AC systems for decades will carry over to DC-based data centers. We've built our solutions to be flexible enough for that transition — so operators don't have to wait for the technology to catch up. In short, AI is driving a complete rethink of how data centers are powered. The demand and density will keep rising, and the pressure to stay responsible and sustainable will only grow stronger. The operators who succeed will be those who find smart ways to integrate different energy sources, keep efficiency high, and plan for the next generation of infrastructure. That's the space where ComAp is making a real difference.

The real estate landscape is changing faster than ever, driven by technology and shifting consumer behaviors. Platforms like Klipster and VryfID are giving buyers, renters, and agent's tools to streamline processes, stay organized, and maintain control—all from their phones. What's clear is that this isn't just about convenience—it's about trust, transparency, and empowerment. Whether it's a fully virtual apartment tour or a secure, renter-first document platform, technology is reshaping expectations and creating a new standard for the industry. For agents, brokers, and consumers alike, the key takeaway is adaptability. Embracing these tools doesn't replace the human element—it enhances it, making the process smarter, faster, and safer for everyone involved. It's one of the largest transfers of wealth in human history—trillions of dollars moving from one generation to the next. But this moment isn't just about inheritance. It's about passing on faith, values, and a vision for generosity. To explore how younger Christians are reimagining stewardship, we spoke with Christin Fejervary, Vice President for Brand and Experience at the National Christian Foundation (NCF)—a trusted partner helping believers give wisely and joyfully. From Obligation to Joyful GenerosityChristin's passion for generosity began early, though not in the way it's shaped her life today.“As a kid,” she shared, “giving was more of an obligation. I watched my parents tithe every week, and I learned discipline from that—but it wasn't until my 20s and 30s, and especially through working at NCF, that I saw how generosity changes us. It frees us from being tied to the things of this world.”That personal transformation has guided her work—helping others experience the joy that comes when giving is no longer a rule to follow but a relationship with God to live out. What's Driving the Next Generation to GiveWhen it comes to generosity, Millennials and Gen Z are rewriting the playbook.According to NCF's research, millennials—now roughly ages 29 to 44—view philanthropy as part of their identity. For Christian millennials, that identity is deeply spiritual: “My life is a way to give away.”Christin explains:“They believe all resources have equal value—not just money, but time, influence, and relationships. They don't just want to write a check. They want to be part of the change.”This shift from transactional to relational giving marks a profound change from previous generations.Reimagining Traditional ToolsYounger Christians aren't abandoning tools like donor-advised funds, estate plans, or investment portfolios—they're personalizing them.“They want to see impact,” Christin said. “They're asking, ‘How is my giving being used?' and ‘What difference is it making?'”They're also expanding how they define stewardship—using investment portfolios for charitable investing and seeking spiritual returns as much as financial ones.At NCF, this has led to growing interest in community-based giving. Across the country, younger givers are joining together to give collectively, blending faith, friendship, and impact. What Advisors Need to KnowFinancial advisors also play a key role in this transition. But Christin says serving the next generation requires a shift in mindset.“Younger Christians want to co-create their giving plans. They want a seat at the table and a voice in the process. It's not just about managing money—it's about helping them uncover all the ways God's entrusted them to give.”For advisors, that means focusing less on control and more on collaboration, connection, and calling. How Families Can Have Faith-Filled ConversationsGenerosity isn't just a financial transaction—it's a family story. Cristin encourages families to start there.“The data shows that both generations—young and old—see faith as a guiding principle,” she said. “The key is to unpack what faithfulness looks like for each generation. When families share stories of how God has provided and guided them, something powerful happens.”Listening to one another's experiences helps bridge differences and creates a shared vision for stewardship across generations. How NCF Is Helping the Next Generation Live GenerouslyAt the National Christian Foundation (NCF), this generational shift is sparking new ideas and tools for families and advisors alike.New Research & Resources: NCF has published a comprehensive Next Gen Generosity Report—designed to help both older and younger generations navigate these conversations.Experiences & Events: Through community gatherings and local partnerships, NCF helps families explore generosity together—often in creative, organic ways led by next-gen participants.Collaboration with Advisors and Churches: NCF connects givers to trusted partners who can guide them through every stage of stewardship—from first-time donors to business owners planning legacy gifts. You can explore these resources at FaithFi.com/NCF or NCFgiving.com/nextgenresearch.The Power of AgencyOne key insight from NCF's research is the role of agency in healthy stewardship.“We define agency as the ability to act on the free will God gives us,” Cristin explained. “The more we step into that responsibility—making decisions, taking ownership—the more confident and joyful we become.”That means even those who inherit wealth should be encouraged to find their “Gen 1” opportunities—ways to take initiative, make decisions, and live out their calling to give. The Influence of Women in GenerosityAnother striking finding: women—especially mothers—play a major role in shaping generosity.“Seventy-two percent of millennials we surveyed said their mothers were the biggest influence on their giving,” Cristin shared.Yet, the research also revealed that many women feel unheard in family wealth decisions. The next step, Cristin says, is ensuring their voices are part of the conversation.“This is the time to incorporate women's perspectives in giving and wealth transfer. Their influence is profound—and essential.”Passing Faith Along With FinancesAs this great wealth transfer unfolds, Cristin reminds us that what we pass on matters more than what we possess.“It's not just about money moving between generations,” she said. “It's about passing along faith, values, and purpose.”And that's a legacy that truly lasts. Learn more about how you can make generosity part of your family's story at FaithFi.com/NCF.On Today's Program, Rob Answers Listener Questions:Our home is fully paid off, and we're nearing retirement. He shares how he uses storytelling and analogies to educate executives on AI fundamentals, turning abstract concepts like “deterministic vs. probabilistic” into relatable, actionable insights. The Readiness Factor (17:29): Not every business is equally prepared for AI. Vedran breaks down the difference between change management and change readiness, urging leaders to assess cultural alignment, technical infrastructure, and data maturity before diving into transformation.Data as the Differentiator (25:15): Vedran argues that as algorithms become commoditized, competitive advantage will come from the quality and context of a company's data. He outlines how clean, well-modeled, and contextualized data will form the backbone of any successful AI strategy. The Middle East's AI Momentum (32:05): Vedran highlights how ambition, experimentation, and government investment are fueling rapid AI growth across the Middle East. Kyle Cobb, acting deputy director for technology and product at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance and Technology (OPHDST), shared how emerging technologies are transforming the way health care data is shared and managed. Cobb outlined how APIs are replacing outdated data connections with a hub-and-spoke model, creating more efficient and centralized data utilities. Tools such as FHIR-based APIs and core Data Use Agreements (DUAs) are not only reducing administrative burdens but also helping providers and public health agencies exchange information more consistently. This standardization builds the foundation for a stronger, more responsive data infrastructure capable of supporting both routine health care operations and large-scale public health emergencies. Artificial intelligence is becoming the next major accelerant in this transformation. Cobb described how AI tools can parse older data formats and convert them into modern FHIR bundles, unlocking access to legacy systems that were previously difficult to integrate.
