The Book of Genesis with Pastor Tim Gold
The Book of Genesis (Week 2) With Pastor Tim Gold
The one true God is forgiving; He justifies believers by taking their sin on himself. He faced rejection to secure our salvation. He bore our sin, taking judgment in our place. He willingly paid the price for our sin and provides salvation to all who accept his sacrifice. Join Pastor Tim for this week's Sunday school lesson in Isaiah 53: 1-12 titled “God Justifies”.
The one true God is able to save His people. He continues to demonstrate His power and trustworthiness. The one true God provides His eternal plan of salvation for His people. Join Pastor Tim this week in Isaiah 46:3-13 in a lesson titled "God Acts".
All idols are human creations and fall short in comparison to the one true God. God alone is the Creator of the universe, directing the affairs of His creation and strengthens those who put their trust in Him. Join Pastor Tim this week in a lesson about keeping God first called "God Renews".
Weekly Sunday School: God Saves (Isaiah 25)
Join Pastor Chris as he brings this weeks virtual Sunday School / Life Group lesson
When have you ever taken a relationship for granted? How did it affect that relationship? Were you able to do anything to get that relationship back on track? One relationship we need to consider when answering these questions is our relationship with God. The Israelites took their relationship with God for granted and God confronted them about it. Are you taking your relationship with God for granted? What might you need to do about this as a result?
Jesus used parables to teach what the kingdom of heaven will be like while we wait for Christ's return and His full reign in the world. The kingdom parables help us see everyday life with spiritual resonance. Truly seeking the kingdom of God depends on God's revealing power. When we set our minds on the cares of the world we can miss the work of the kingdom in our midst.
Join Bro John today in Song of Songs 5:6-16 as he teaches about relational investment. God desires for us to invest in building strong marriage relationships. Unless there is diligence to remember and guard all the reasons that led a person into marriage in the first place, the possibilities of the demise of that relationship only increase. Love must not be assumed but continually developed and expressed. Remembering why you got into a relationship in the first place can actually help keep you in that relationship. Just as a couple must invest in their relationship, believers must also invest in their relationship with God.
A New Thing (Isaiah 43: 16-21) Part 2
The world is watching and learning from us. Do we retaliate with hurtful words of our own? Or do we be still and know that God is in control?
Join Bro John Pritchett in Proverbs 29:1-3, 12-20 as he teaches about accepting discipline. God uses discipline from society, family, and others to shape his people.
Join Bro Dale in Luke 8:26-39 as Jesus demonstrates His authority over evil by driving demons out of a man. Jesus would later demonstrate His authority over sin and evil in a greater way through His crucifixion and resurrection. While many continue to reject Him, one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord. (Philippians 2:9-11)
God expects believers to be good stewards of the bodies He has given them. Join Bro John Pritchett today in a lesson entitled Staying Sober.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd, sent by the Father, to lay down His life for His sheep so that they might have eternal life. Because of Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection from the grave, we have abundant life in Him and through Him.
Today's lesson will come from Phillipians 4:8. “Finally[, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things.” We must actively fill our minds with what is lovely, like our Savior, Jesus Christ. There is no one more lovely than He is. In these times of turmoil, fear, and hateful speech, we need to reach for our Bibles and replace those stressful thoughts with God's Word. What are you allowing your mind to be filled with?
Christians demonstrate wisdom by seeking to please God in everything they do. Pleasing God is borne out of a relationship with Him and is seen in right attitudes and actions. Living for God doesn't mean things are always going to be successful for us as Christians in the eyes of the world. Yet to live in the safety of God's counsel is to know that He is at work among His people in ALL THINGS to bring about their good for His glory.
Join Bro Dale in (Luke 11) as he discusses how Jesus taught us to pray and reflect on the amazing gift of communication that prayer is for believers!
