Minnesota Bias

Its the first of our week of old episodes! I won't even pretend to remember what we talked about with this one, but I know the Top Ten was our favorite insults, so check it out!

We're baaaaaaaack. After a long hiatus, Hunter and Dan are back just in time to offer a preview of a Wild game 7 against the Golden Knights. They also try to reassure themselves and other Twins fans that there is still hope for this season. The Top Ten this week is our Top Ten Playoff Wins in MN Sports history.

Its draft week folks, and we finished our prep by welcoming our friends from the Sports Brief Podcast, Colton Hall and Tristin Rancour! In this episode we ask the hard hitting questions. Like why can't Dan get the volume on his microphone figured out? We don't know, and we don't expect you too either, but at least we know you can hear Hunter offer some great insights on this episode.

The mic is fixed for sure this time, and the Vikes are under the salary cap! The Wild are playoff contenders, and the Twins are in full Spring Training mode! Its an exciting time in MN Sports.

Is the microphone fixed yet? No, no its not. But that doesn't mean it isn't a great conversation!

Did Dan get that microphone thing figured out? I don't know but it seemed a little better at least...

Dan got a new microphone and it turns out that he doesn't quite know how the volume on it works yet, but at least you can hear Hunter okay!

What's red and tastes like blue paint? Red paint. Are the Wild good? Will the Twins be? What's up with the Timberwolves? I don't know if we answered any of these questions, but we sure tried to address all of them!

We recorded episode 24 a year and a day after Kobe's death, and dedicate this episode to him and the rest of the victims of the horrible helicopter accident. Kobe had an impact on both of our lives as sports fans, and we remember him fondly. RIP Kobe.

Wait, crime dramas? Yep. We got into that... apparently.

I apologize if we seem distracted, this was recorded during the College Football National Championship. Along with that, random fact of the episode is that approximately 7% of American adults believe that chocolate milk comes from brown cows?

For the Kevin Garnett episode we just had to bring back Vance Kaupang! Did you know that Vance once played a pickup game with KG? I don't know if that's true, but wouldn't it be cool if it was?

We made it to Episode 20! Who is your favorite Minnesota Athlete to wear the #20?

Did you know that humans share 50% of their DNA with bananas?!?! It doesn't have anything to do with this episode, I just find that kind of crazy. Hope you enjoy the episode though!

I can't remember what we talked about in this episode, so for the next couple episodes I'm just going to write jokes and fun trivia since I can't leave this blank.

You guys, this one is huge. Jordan Reid joined us for this episode, and my mind is still a little bit blown. So that you know a little bit, Jordan is a Senior NFL Draft Analyst for the Draft Network. To add, he is a former D1 Quarterback, Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator. Jordan taught us a little (a lot) about who we should be looking at in the draft, at multiple positions. The Twins broke our hearts, but the Vikings got the win! We break it down, and its draft busts for the top ten, with one really disappointing bust in the top ten from Dan. Listen to catch his BIG mistake!

The Twins won the Central, the Vikings lost a close one, and we counted down our Top Ten Athletes from MN. Best part is, we left a lot of it up for debate, so let us know what you think!

We talk about who we want the twins to go get with the trade deadline, a little bit of Vikings news with a debate we pretty much both agree on, and then we get into the Wolves. Crazy week for our Timberwolves, we talk about what we want to see the Wolves do with that fancy #1 pick! Finish it off as we count down our Top Ten MN coaches of all time.
