I’m talking about what type of people I’ve encountered while revealing publicly that I have depression and anxiety. I’m developing some questions around therapy for depression and anxiety patients. Remember this is from a patient’s perspective, as I don’t have any formal training for psychological therapy or counselling. I know this will help someone who’s indecisive about how, when, where and what type of therapy that should be doing, and even if they should do it at all! Keep safe and listen closely
This is my list of things that help me everyday, that’s my go-to list for accepting myself just the way I am. Not only this helps me get through the day but encourages me to continue fighting for a better tomorrow
This episode was not planned like the others. I have no list or billet-points for this one. When listening, be patient and try to analyse it from the observer’s perspective: don’t analyse the content, try to look at the format, specifically the thinking format. Unfortunately this is how a depressed person’s mind works, and it’s exhausting! It doesn’t only take away your energy and time but it also takes away your happiness, positive emotions and, most importantly, it takes away your hope - the dreams you’re looking forward to accomplish. Please know that you can get better at controlling your depression and be happy because of it! I can do it (and I still have episodes and thoughts like these) so you can as well
Usually it’s difficult to find reason behind a conflict. The situation becomes even more difficult when it comes to our loved one. And on top, we have to deal with our own depression and anxiety, with our own efed up state of mind. And so, today I’m talking myself out of continuing the self-guilt. Find out how!
Overall, this is what my life is about at the moment, and comparing it to this time last year I’m definitely making the most out of my time today. It can be done, and your mental illness does not have to be the end of your happy life!
These are a few things that I do to detect at an early stage my depression & anxiety symptoms, and they work as ‘alarm bells’ to help me avoid getting into a full-blown depression episode.
Going back to the basics means taking responsibility for your ‘old-self’, for who you used to be and decided to change.
I’ve gathered a list of weaknesses that I now use as strengths, and have served me well during the time I considered them to be ‘weaknesses’. I’m not saying I didn’t want them to become ‘strengths’ but I’m saying I learned more from them when they were negative traits. I’m also saying I couldn’t have made them positive attributes if it wasn’t for them going against me in the first place
Depression manifests differently in every person. I’m explaining my choices of treatment, my conscious choices considering all the options available and what I wanted to try (aka experiment on myself).
I used to hide my depression and anxiety and pretend I was this perfect person leading a perfect life. Another aspect of myself revealed. I really trust this will help you on your own #HappinessJourney

Being consistent is a problem for me because I’m not, so I have to work on that. Natalie gave me a different perspective about helping and supporting women, women whom want to become strong powerful individuals and don’t know what they’re doing or how to start. I’ve tried to be inclusive of men as well but sorry fellas, after listening to the audio I feel it’s mostly meant for tha ladies

Hi beautiful people! This was supposed to be a “welcome back” for September and ended up being a full energy rant about motivating YOU to do your own journey.
I recommend you not listen to this audio episode if you’re sensitive or very strong minded about having children and , as a woman, giving birth to your own children because I strongly believe the opposite. And this may be offensive to your beliefs so please don’t listen to it. I’m outraged and feel ashamed because of how dismissive my GP was with me when I told him the reason of my visit was to proceed to a gynaecologist referral to get a female sterilisation done. I know now no matter how much a man will try to understand my feelings as a woman, he will never know how I really feel and how frustrated it is to explain the same situation over and over again. And not only to explain it but to be dismissed for it. As you can tell I’m quite negative today and I don’t like myself for feeling like this but I have to let it out. Please enjoy your Monday and start your journey TODAY! Don’t listen to the negativity and the negative people around you, please follow your dreams and aspirations because you want to be at peace with yourself

When you know yourself and have explored to understand what you’d love to do, then you’re making your way to that self awareness place from which you can start working and deploying patience on your final goal. During my #ChaseHappiness journey I’m learning about myself, about what I do and what I don’t do, where I execute and where I don’t and why that’s happening. I need to understand where I stand in order to continue my journey, I need to understand where my emotions come from and how to manage them so I can create my own path. One of the misconceptions I had was defining what an emotionally person is, how is reacting and how is executing. Understanding this made me actually comprehend I was wrong in my own definition, definition I learnt from childhood/school/friends/society. Remember: any learned behaviour/concept can be unlearned
I hear people complaining all the time about not having money or time or just not having something. Time we all have but some of you dedicate it to scrolling on Facebook, money we can all make one way or another but some decide to be fancy and not accept a type of job because it’s not an office job, and everything else happens if you work for it. So where is the excuse now? Patience is the key to happiness and involves planning ahead, involves having a plan B before you think about a plan A. If B goes wrong, f*** it, acknowledge it and move forward. Patience is the key from today’s conversation. #ChaseHappiness and do it for yourself ❤️

It’s always hard to express yourself when you feel low, not motivated or out of energy. I haven’t discovered yet how to get over these moments quickly and to avoid turning them into nonproductive days but for now I noticed an improvement since before starting my social media journey: I am able to just snap out of it after a day or couple of days without digging myself too deep in the shit-hole. It used to me much more difficult to get out of that feeling and turn the page. It used to last for days and days in a row, and there wasn’t anything I would do about it. Now I’m grateful I can find the strength to talk about it to other people and do some sort of activity that will snap me out of it. My #ChaseHappiness journey has ups and downs, and I accept that this is part of the process.
I felt interrogated today by two different people about my desire to remain a childless woman all my life. I’m looking to get a permanent solution for this and today I have started the process to make it happen. It’s going to be long, it’s going to be tedious and I’m not going to like it. I’m not going to like it because I have to give reasons and explanations to everyone around me of why I don’t want to give birth to my own children and I feel that people who want to have children are not interrogated the way I am! But I’m willing to go through this process because I’ve made up my mind a long while ago and now it’s time the world knows as well!!! #ChaseHappiness #HappyMondayEvening
I feel more identified with male pattern and I look up to strong female figures. I don’t think there’s a right or a wrong choice, everyone is different and needs different guidance.
