Dr. Rasmussen is a pediatrician, geneticist, and well known expert in the field of infectious diseases authoring nearly 300 peer reviewed papers. She is first author in the renowned New England Journal of Medicine article titled Zika virus and birth defects. She has served at the CDC for 20 years and has lead several CDC response teams for H1N1, MERS, and Zika virus. We welcome her today and to NASPAG in April to share Covid 19 updates particularly how they pertain to children and teens.
