Our Beautiful Brokenness is an expression of our desire to put Jesus on display by sharing His story of how brokenness in our life does not disqualify us from a beautiful relationship with Him.
If you do not know who you are, it is impossible for you to live life to the fullest. You cannot be all you were created to be and experience the fullness of life you were meant to experience. Knowing who you are is wrapped up in knowing "whose" you are. You are a child of God. Period. It is not something you achieve, it is something you are by birthright. The question is not whether you are or are not a child of God but rather are you living it out? Do you know God as your Heavenly Father and yourself as His daughter or son or are you living as an orphan and/or slave? In this episode, Danny and Laura discuss their journey of learning whose they are and who they are. You will discover that it is never too late to learn the truth of your identity and begin to walk it out. Listen along as they share candidly about the joy of learning who they are only six years ago and the exciting journey it has opened to live as a child of the greatest Father ever. Prepare to laugh and possibly cry in this episode that they consider their most important yet.

In this podcast you will laugh and possibly cry as they share their heart on God's incredible blessings and faithfulness on their trip!
I may not be beautiful but my Savior Jesus is! Listen to me(Danny) share what I am learning as we have traveled for four weeks across the US and up the West coast. My hope is that you will see how incredible it is to walk in a relationship with Jesus. I have learned that it is only in a relationship with Him that we can truly come alive and be all that we were created to be. Relationship with Him is far from boring; it is an adventure that carries you through the hard times and lets you experience the sweetness of all that is good. After 32 years as a believer in Jesus, I am more in love with Him now and more excited about life than ever before. I will share with you in this episode a taste of what He is teaching recently as I learn from Him.
We all have times when life does not go the way we think it should go and/or the way we want it to go. Call it disappointment, sadness, being down, or depression; whatever you call it, it is not fun. I found myself in one of those seasons recently and I could not make sense of it. I had so many things to be happy about. Why was I feeling down? In this episode, I share what God taught me about how to come out on the other side of disappointment.
Hurt and pain are a very real part of our experience as humans. As much as we may try, there is no escape from suffering on some level. When we do undergo trouble of some kind, the questions that often come up are: "Where is God?" and "Why is this happening to me?" Listen to Laura's story of getting real with God about where He was when she was raped when she was twelve years old and hear what God had to say in response.
It seems like an all too common theme of woundings within the church. How is it possible that a place that is supposed to bring healing and protection can be a place where people experience pain and rejection? How? Because it is filled with people. People who are not perfect and don't always reflect the love of Jesus in what they do and say. In this episode, Danny and Laura share their story of experiencing disappointment and hurt that came as they served on the staff of a church. Listen as they share honestly but discreetly of what happened and how it made them feel. The sorrow and heartache they felt made them want to run away. Listen as they share how God stepped in and asked them to trust Him and stay. This is the conclusion of a two part series of episodes speaks to the never ending love of God as He pursues us in relationship. If you are like many who have experienced wounding by the church this episode is especially for you. God wants to speak to you and invite you to trust Him and lean into relationship with Him and not out.
