The guys compare this roster with the legendary 2005 Longhorns, identify the position groups that may be even deeper and explain why the growth of the nation's top second-year quarterbacks could determine the College Football Playoff race. Acts 16: 22-33 Silas was a significant leader in the church, and he accompanied Paul on his second missionary journey. In Philippi they encountered an evil spirit, were slandered, arrested, flogged and imprisoned. But even through all of that, Silas and Paul help the jailer and his household come to faith. Silas went on to be listed as a co-author of some of the epistles as well as the bishop of the Corinthian church.

Why Your Subconscious Keeps You Stuck: Dr. Lise Janelle on the Heart Freedom Method Episode Description What if the thing holding you back is not a lack of discipline, willpower, knowledge, or effort? In this episode of Conversations with a Chiropractor, Dr. Stephanie Wautier talks with Dr. Lise Janelle, a former chiropractor, peak performance coach, author, speaker, and creator of the Heart Freedom Method. Dr. Lise explains how subconscious beliefs can shape performance, relationships, business, money, health, and the way people respond to challenges. She shares why someone can consciously want success, love, healing, or growth while another part of them quietly associates that goal with danger, rejection, conflict, or loss. Through stories from athletes, entrepreneurs, relationships, and her own life, Dr. Lise shows how old childhood interpretations can become adult patterns. A skier who subconsciously associated winning with hurting others. A successful woman whose body reacted when she felt unheard. A chiropractor who feared success might threaten her marriage. These examples all point to the same deeper question: what story is your subconscious trying to protect you from? Stephanie and Dr. Lise also talk about self-sabotage, procrastination, victim patterns, worthiness, yin and yang, relationships, nervous system reactions, the difference between forcing and flowing, and why challenges may be guiding us toward growth. This is a conversation about getting unstuck, listening to the heart, and learning how to work with the subconscious mind instead of fighting against it. This episode is for education and reflection only. It is not a substitute for medical care, mental health care, trauma therapy, relationship counseling, or individualized professional support. https://www.maynardvillefellowship.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Cooke-7-5-26.mp3 Jesus has declared that the Temple will be utterly destroyed. The disciples know what is coming. Their unsettled dilemma is when. “Tell us, when will these things happen, & what will be the sign of Your coming, & of the end of the age?” — Matthew 24:3 These are not the speculative questions of prophecy-chart enthusiasts. They are the trembling questions of men whose entire covenantal world has just been shaken. The Temple will fall. The Old Covenant age will end. The Son of Man will be vindicated. The Kingdom will no longer be centered in Jerusalem, but in the risen Christ ruling from heaven. Listen as Pastor Matt explains what the disciples were asking when they asked, ‘When Will These Things Happen?’

You've built the asset. You've done the comms. You even held office hours (that no one came to). And still…nothing changes. Sound familiar? These moves are still everyone's go-to plays for substantial transitions in the workplace, even when we have decades of experience that they fall flat. In this episode, Rodney and Sam dig into one of the most under-explored problems in organizational life: how you actually get people to do shit. Not just understand it. Not just nod at it in a meeting. Actually do it. They walk through why the classic change playbook (comms, training, socialization, stakeholder management) keeps failing, and what a real system of activation actually looks like. -------------------------------- Ready to change your organization? This week we welcome back Erin Quinn to the podcast. Quinn has spent the last twenty years as the athletic director at Middlebury College in Vermont, being recognized as the National AD of the Year in 2021. Under his tenure, his teams have won 19 NCAA championships, 69 NESCAC conference championships, and 29 Middlebury athletes have won individual NCAA championships. Prior to becoming athletic director, Quinn served as the head men's lacrosse coach at Middlebury, winning three NCAA national titles and six NESCAC championships. What we love most about him, though, is that he is known as "A.D. for the Coaches." Quinn knows how important it is to pour into your people and get away from the transactional nature of sports and turn it into a transformational one. He is a huge fan of inside-out leadership with self-awareness and self-regulation at the core of being a successful coach. As you will see in our conversation today, Quinn is the type of leader that everyone would love to work for and the type of coach that we all wish our children would have the opportunity to play under. What does Madonna at Coachella have to do with your money mindset? Everything. This week on Make It Happen Monday, we're talking about the identity shift that is quietly changing everything for women who are already successful — but still feel like they're working too hard for what they want. If you've built real results, you know how to hustle — but there's a quiet belief underneath it all that says: things won't happen unless I force them. This episode is your invitation to release that pattern and step into the version of you who is already fully receiving. Jackie shares her biggest new moon breakthrough: the shift from "I am the woman who makes things happen" to "I am the woman things happen for." This isn't spiritual bypassing — it's the most practical thing you'll hear this week. You don't make more by doing more. You make more by feeling worthy of receiving more. In this episode: — Why high-achieving women hit a ceiling that strategy can't fix— What Madonna's Coachella comeback at 68 teaches us about magnetic energy— The "proving pattern" that keeps ease just out of reach— How to become a better receiver starting today— A powerful journaling prompt: what would the version of me who is already fully receiving feel like?— 5 things to do differently this week— Monday affirmations for your magnetic season This is the beginning of a magnetic season, ladies. President Russell M. Nelson said, "We need women who know how to make important things happen by their faith." That's us! Every day, even when we don't see the results, we're doing important things by faith. Most of the time, it's in small and simple ways, but "by small means, the Lord can bring about great things." (1 Nephi 16:29). When we think of people who acted with remarkable faith, scripture stories about Esther, Moses, and Nephi might come to mind, but do we think of ourselves on that same list? Today's guest is here to share how to look at faith with a fresh perspective and how we can figure out the important things Jesus Christ needs us to do, then have the courage to do them. Maybe we don't see ourselves on par with our heroes in the scriptures, but we should! Our faith may not be needed to part the seas, but it can be strong enough to do mighty and important work in God's kingdom. Today's guest, friend of Magnify, Kaylen Nelson, is someone we can count on to talk about gospel truths with transparency, delight, and a little bit of Taylor Swift. Kaylen taught seminary and institute for thirteen years, and recently took a pause from classroom life to be with her two little boys at home. Notes: "We need women who know how to make important things happen by their faith." Russell M. Nelson, "A Plea to My Sisters," October 2015 Quoted by Kaylen: "When the real history of mankind is fully disclosed, will it feature the echoes of gunfire or the shaping sound of lullabies? The great armistices made by military men or the peacemaking of women in homes and in neighborhoods?" Neal A. Maxwell, "The Women of God," April 1978

Sometimes the world breaks our hearts wide open. And when tragedy strikes—whether it's in our backyard or across the globe—we need to know how to hold both our humanity AND our mental health. In this deeply important episode, Leonie and Tamara share their wisdom on navigating collective grief, communal trauma, and how to be a good steward of your own nervous system when the news cycle feels overwhelming. They explore the recent tragedy in Sydney with tender care, offering practical tools for processing difficult events without sacrificing your wellbeing. You'll learn why your empathic nature might be working against you right now, how to protect your energy when you're feeling everything, and concrete ways to help your community heal. This isn't about toxic positivity or looking away. It's about staying present, connected, and regulated so you can actually show up for the people who need you most.TOPICS COVERED:Understanding collective vs. personal griefProtecting your nervous system from 24/7 news cyclesThe surprising science of Tetris for PTSD preventionHow to talk to kids about tragedy (age-appropriately)Energy boundaries for highly sensitive peopleFinding the helpers and celebrating acts of couragePractical ways to support affected communitiesHolding space for nuanced, complex conversationsKEY INSIGHTS:Collective grief is real and different: When tragedy strikes a community, you can literally feel emotions in your body that aren't yours—this is collective grief, and it requires different processing than personal lossYour nervous system wasn't designed for this: Humans aren't built to handle 24/7 streaming news and graphic footage. Limiting media consumption isn't avoidance—it's essential mental health careThe Tetris technique actually works: Research shows playing classic Tetris within 24 hours of trauma exposure can help prevent PTSD by engaging your brain's visual processing centersEmpaths need extra protection: If you're highly sensitive or empathic, you MUST actively call your energy back to yourself. You cannot process other people's trauma for themLook for the helpers, then BE one: From blood donations to checking on vulnerable friends to advocating for policy change—there are always meaningful ways to contributeRitual creates healing: Collective ceremonies, vigils, and shared practices help communities metabolize grief and strengthen bonds during crisisKids need minimal facts, maximum safety: Give children age-appropriate information, ensure they feel safe, and teach them how to support friends from affected communitiesYou're allowed to be okay when others aren't: This is a crucial boundary, especially for women conditioned to regulate everyone else's emotionsNOTABLE QUOTES:"We as humans are not designed to cope with 24/7 streaming news. When it rains it pours” isn't just a marketing slogan (true story), it might actually be how the world works! President Donald Trump joyously welcomed Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, also known as MBS, to the White House on Tuesday. That's despite the fact that, according to US intelligence, MBS allegedly ordered the 2018 murder of Saudi dissident and journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The meeting was supposed to center on Saudi investments in the United States in exchange for military equipment and possible access to nuclear technology – as the US and Saudi Arabia become closer partners than ever before. So for more on what MBS's very friendly visit means for U.S.-Saudi relations, we spoke with Pod Save the World co-host Tommy Vietor. And in headlines, Education Secretary Linda McMahon works to "break up federal bureaucracy", the US takes one step closer to maybe possibly finally seeing the Epstein files, and Texas Governor Greg Abbott says he'll take the state's redistricting fight to the Supreme Court.Show Notes:Check out Pod Save The World – tinyurl.com/4n6y99muCall Congress – 202-224-3121Subscribe to the What A Day Newsletter – https://tinyurl.com/3kk4nyz8What A Day – YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@whatadaypodcastFollow us on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/crookedmedia/For a transcript of this episode, please visit crooked.com/whataday Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Have you ever hit a moment where joy and heartbreak showed up at the exact same time — and you weren't sure if it was self-sabotage, an upper limit, or simply life unfolding? In this episode of Empowering Her, I open up about the day my husband and I finally got our dream New York City apartment — a manifestation twenty years in the making — and just minutes later, learned of a family loss. It made me stop and ask one big question: Was this the universe testing me, or was it just life reminding me that I can hold it all? Here's what you'll hear in this week's conversation:What the Upper Limit Problem really means, inspired by The Big Leap by Gay HendricksHow to recognize when you're blocking your own expansion through fear or doubtThe difference between an upper limit and life simply happeningWhy creating unnecessary meaning around hard moments keeps you stuckHow to grow your capacity to hold both joy and grief at the same timeSimple mindset shifts to help you move beyond self-sabotage and stay open to abundanceIf you're navigating your own season of growth — one where things feel both incredible and uncertain — this episode will remind you that it's safe to expand, to receive, and to feel all of it.Let's Stay Connected! As an empowerment coach, author, twin girl mom, and the creator of the GiRLiFE Academy, my mission is to help every woman and girl discover her voice and live a life that lights her up from the inside out.I'd love to connect with you and continue this beautiful journey together!

On this episode of the podcast, Steve Rosenberg, a leader in Philadelphia's Jewish community discussed the resurgence of anti-Semitism, particularly among the youngest Americans. He recounted the impact of the 2018 Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, where he knew three of the victims. Rosenberg criticized the media's sensationalism and foreign influence, emphasizing the need for economic cooperation through the Abraham Accords. He highlighted the divide within the Jewish community, praising President Trump's support for Israel and criticizing the progressive left's stance.
