Not lawyers. Not janitors. Somewhere in between. A conversational podcast between two friends and paralegals sort of about working in the world of law, but mostly trying to make each other laugh.
Audrey Original and the Great Mandamus
Today, the Pair-a-Legals come out of hiatus to discuss Roe V. Wade. We recorded this episode shortly after the leak of the Roe v. Wade draft from SCOTUS, when we still felt like we had the option to joke! Joking aside, today, June 24, 2022, SCOTUS dealt a huge blow to all uterians with their ruling against human rights, which gives states the option to condemn uterians to death. (Yes, if you have an ectopic pregnancy, and you do not receive an abortion, you will die.) And if you're supportive of this overturning, Audrey wants to talk to you about donating some organs. Ever wondered what it's like to be a lawyer? Or a janitor? Well, Audrey Original and the Great Mandamus aren't either one of those, but they are paralegals, which is somewhere in between. This podcast is a little about the law, a little about Mandi's violent arousal around mops, a little about how Audrey hates the federal rules of civil procedure, and a lot about being smokin' hot liberal babes who know how to get the most out of a bag of microwave popcorn. Sponsored by Spreadsheets. Spreadsheets: ohhhh. spreadsheets. Filings are sugar and deadlines are spice-- nothing in this podcast is legal advice!
