Commonly referred to as a perm in the black community. Curl Pattern - There are four main types (1-straight, 2-wavy, 3-curly, 4-coily/kinky) and three categories of curl shape (A-wide, B-medium, C-tight) Porosity - How well hair is able to absorb and hold moistureNatural Hair - Not having a relaxer or chemicals in hair The Big Chop - Cutting off a lot of hair to get rid of a relaxerIf you're curious about learning how the pink tax specifically affects the black community, check out this 2018 article published by Nielsen!
