    Meet tumblr:s Operafantomet/Instagram's Aneacostumes, Janne Helene Arnesen. Here she talks about how she got in to The Phantom of the Opera and how the visual production in terms of scenography and costume design by Maria Björnson has always fascinated her. Janne Helene Arnesen is an art historian who works in the National Museum in Oslo. She saw The Phantom of the Opera for the first time in Hamburg in 1992 and became a fan when she saw the show again in 2000 in Copenhagen. This was recorded in 2018 and we talk a bit about the 2018 production in Copenhagen, as well as reminiscing about our Phantom of the Opera mockumentary which we did in Copenhagen in 2009, which can be found on Operafantomet's Youtube channel https://youtu.be/o5rXr7peUnwel.     Meet John Martin Bengtsson who saw Phantom of the Opera for the first time at Oscarsteatern in Stockholm in his teens. Since seeing that first performance with Mikael Samuelson as the Phantom, being part of the show has been one of John Martin's professional goals. In this episode he'll give you an insight in the past three years that the spent with The Phantom of the Opera, first as ensemble/Passarino and Peter Jöback's understudy in the Stockholm revival production, then as Raoul in the Gothenburg non-replica production and finally during the season 2018-2019 as alternate Phantom and ensemble in Copenhagen. How does he feel about auditions? Which is his favorite Phantom costume? And least favourite? What was it like to be part of a non-replica production?     Meet Mia Karlsson, Swedish soprano with several leading roles in the Danish capital of Copenhagen on her resumé. Among roles she has sung is Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Cosette in Les Misérables and Christine in The Phantom of the Opera.In this podcast we talk about Mia's journey with the Phantom of the Opera in Copenhagen. Mia started out in 2000 as swing and second understudy for Christine and continued as mirror bride and first understudy in 2003.
