The college football landscape never stops moving, shifting and changing. The latest change is yet another drastic move of conference realignment. Sacramento State is leaving the FCS to join the FBS as they will now become a part of the MAC. Yes, the team in California is joining the Mid-American Conference. Ross Dellenger explains why Sac State is making this move and what other avenues they pursued. Andy Staples and Steven Godfrey join the conversation and react to this decision. The conversation evolves to the broader landscape of conference realignment. The guys discuss why so many of these drastic shifts are being made and what type of change to the college football landscape they see coming in the future.Then, the guys dive into a couple of notable eligibility court cases. Trinidad Chambliss will be a Rebel for one more season after a judge in the Mississippi state court granted an injunction to give Chambliss one more season of eligibility. Let it never be said that Triple Takeover doesn't enjoy a bit of beast. Having already done deep dives into the classic Kenner line and Takara's Beast Wars II, we're back for more — and this is where things get really weird, with 1999's Beast Wars Neo. Tonight it's all about the Maximals: a crew of twelve toys that run the gamut from intriguing repaints and retools to flat-out Japanese exclusive oddities. Sixo guides Liam and Jason through the roster one figure at a time, discovering some of the more noteworthy alternate modes from the entire Beast era — not to mention the somewhat inexplicable third modes on offer. With giraffes, penguins, horses, rabbits, sharks, and of course the line's notorious tanuki, Beast Wars Neo showcases the sheer creativity (and occasional bewilderment) of late-90s Takara design philosophy. The discussion leans towards the absurd at times — that was somewhat inevitable given the subject matter — but there's genuine reverence for what is, at the end of the day, a fabulous set of classic Transformers toys. Big swings, plenty of fun, and a roster that wasn't afraid to do something different. Fair warning: this episode gets weird. But that's exactly why our Beast Wars discussions always end up being some of the most entertaining episodes we record. The resurrection ritual doesn't just crown Daredevil and Elektra as King and Queen—it supercharges everyone, including Foggy and Cole North, and the Book of the Fist literally rewrites itself to guide them. Its warning is chilling: the Hand is using the Lunate Talisman to replace world leaders with undead puppets, quietly steering global power while no one notices.  Recruiting monsters to stop monsters. Daredevil leads a breakout at the Myrmidon, offering prisoners a chance to fight for something bigger. Speed Demon, Stilt-Man, Agony, Stegron, and others join up. During the escape, Matt easily takes down U.S. Agent and is shaken to find Robert Goldman imprisoned there, clearly still part of a larger “plan.” In the aftermath, Iron Man and Captain America watch the footage and agree on one thing—Daredevil has crossed a line and needs to be brought in.   Elektra lights the fuse. While Doc Sasquatch tries to hold this unstable team together through therapy, Elektra infiltrates the White House, confirms the President is a Hand construct, and throws him out a window—on camera. It's a tactical win and a PR nightmare, pushing the Avengers closer and painting the Fist as terrorists instead of saviors.  Doing good the hard way. Matt insists the Fist prove they're different, leading a mission to North Carolina where they stop illegal evictions, defuse coordinated bombings, and protect a falling child—caught midair by Stilt-Man. Afterwards, Bullet leaves to find his son Lance, and we learn he's unknowingly walking straight into the Hand's trap.  The war with the Hand. Knowing it's a setup but knowing they need to save Lance, Daredevil still attacks when the Book warns that the Punisher—who's leading the Hand—is killing again. The battle is massive and brutal: Daredevil and Elektra vs. the Punisher, Stick vs. Aka, Cole North vs. a Hand-controlled Bullet, and the rest of the Fist fighting dragons and assassins. They lose ground, barely escape, but Elektra steals the Lunate Talisman—proof the Hand can be beaten.  Everything falls apart. The Avengers close in, the Stromwyns escalate, and Re-Cid gas bombs rain down on the Fist's base. Elektra destroys the Talisman, which reveals the truth _ Stick and Foggy were resurrected by the Hand—then disintegrate. The cost to beat the Hand is devastating as the Avengers arrive to arrest most of the team.  God's plan goes loud. Daredevil manages to escape along with Robert Goldman, who unleashing an avalanche that forces the Avengers to retreat while nearly everyone else is captured. Weeks later, Cole North snaps Matt out of his spiral—telling him to put the suit back on, go fix it. Matt confronts the Stromwyns and trades himself for Elektra's freedom, proving his loyalty by plunging blades into his own eyes.  Death, rebirth, and the real enemy. Believing sacrifice is the only answer, Matt travels to Japan to die at the Beast's gate and rescue the trapped souls—Foggy included. Elektra tries to stop him; he dies anyway, is reborn in white, and learns he's been manipulated by the Wild, sister to the Beast. In the collapsing afterlife, Matt rejects comforting illusions, frees Foggy and the others through love and willpower, and stays behind—armless but defiant—to face the Beast alone.  The final book of volume 7 and the Red Fist Saga was an epilogue to this story and seemly sets us up for volume 8. Tonight's first guest, Heather, grew up in a very rural part of Central Louisiana. She grew up hunting, so she's always loved the outdoors. When the COVID lockdowns happened, to help pass the time, Heather decided to look into the Sasquatch phenomenon. Not long after she started to armchair research, she hooked up with a group of ladies who were interested in Sasquatch too. It wasn't long after that that Heather started doing field investigations with those ladies that spanned several states. Up until that point, Heather was interested in Sasquatch but what really piqued her interest in them was the day she found a set of Sasquatch prints in the Kisatchie National Forest. After finding them, she was absolutely hooked. On tonight's show, Heather is going to share multiple Sasquatch-related experiences she's had, since then. Tonight's guest, Doug Messer, had his first and only Bigfoot sighting in 1980. He had his sighting while he was in his bedroom, but his encounter started in the woods, behind his house, in Greenup County, Kentucky. You see, he had been camping in the woods behind his house with 3 friends of his. After the he and his 3 friends had turned in for the night, it started to rain pretty heavily and the rain washed out their camp. That caused them to decide to pack up their camp and head back to Doug's house. After they had everything packed up, they had just started walking down an old timber road, to leave, when they noticed heavy footsteps pacing them to their right. When the boys would stop walking, the footsteps would stop too. They tested that several times and every time they'd stop walking the heavy footsteps would stop too. That frightened them, so they all took off running. Whatever it was that the boys were running from kept pace with them. Finally, after the boys made it to Tommy's house, Tommy thought the experience was over.
