This weeks episode is all about bringing awareness to mental health. As graduates a lot of us deal with mental health or know someone who has. Research shows that 70% of graduates having said they have experienced mental health issues, due to this it is important that we bring awareness to the topic and discuss the issues the majority deal with. I’m joined with six amazing graduates in this episode, where they openly share their experience with mental health, how they deal with it and why it’s so important to talk about mental health. We really hope you enjoy this episode and feel less alone by listening to the stories and advise that is shared.

In this episode I am joined with Elenor Smith who is currently a masters student studying Global Governance and Diplomacy at University of Leeds. She shares with how she’s been copying with life in lockdown, tips on how to study from home effectively, ways in which she’s been keeping active, why she started a blog and so much more. I also have my very good friends Hannah and Leannda, more commonly known as Hanlea who graduated in photography. The duo share with us what it’s been like for them being on furlough. How they’ve used their time to invest in themselves by rebranding and doing what they are truly passionate about while they have the time to. In this weeks episode I'm joined with a very hard working and passionate graduate Cam Whitelaw who graduated in Television Production. As someone who has always had a passion in TV and creating films from a very young age, Cam gained a huge amount of experience throughout his degree and set up his own production company Cam Whitelaw Films. Since finishing university he landed his dream job shadowing an award winning mulit-cam director and has worked on some incredible shows including Stand Up To Cancer, The Brit Awards, Little Mermaid Live and many more. He shares us the challenges that come with being an executive assistant and how following his passion and working hard has pushed him closer to his dreams. In this is weeks episode I'm joined with Mike and Rachel. Mike is a recent graduate from UCL graduating in economics and landed himself a graduate scheme in one of the top 4 accounting firms EY. He shares with us how he got the job and various tips on the application process of a graduate scheme with little experience in the industry. We also have Rachel who is currently doing her masters in Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire after finishing her undergrad and gaining some experience in teaching, she explains that she realised what she initially wanted to do after university lead her to make the decision to specialise within Psychology and further her studies. Both Mike and Rachel now have a clearer idea of where they want to be and in this episode they give some amazing advice how they got to where they are now after experiencing massive lows after university. In this is weeks episode I’m joined with Michael, a six year postgrad student who studied International Business. As a student Michael says he was always money driven and didn’t like the idea of working for a big corporation. With this intention since finishing university he had started a business and soon realised he had so much to learn. So had then worked and learnt a huge amount in digital marketing and now also the co-owner of the Outset Studio. Micheal shares with us his journey since finishing university, what’s he’s learnt since starting a business and the successes and failures he has experienced.
In this is weeks episode I’m joined with the very talented photography graduate Faysal Hassan. Since finishing university Faysal has pushed his creativity and skills by having his first solo exhibition of his photography work in his home town, releasing music and now getting into poetry. He has used is experience dealing mental health as an inspiration for his work and is a very open on this subject and is pretty much an open book. He shares with us his journey after graduating and the some great advice on how to become the best version of yourself.
