Today's Guest is Colorado Springs Coach- Alyssa Wixo Alyssa graduated in 2013 from MSU-Moorhead with a BS in Exercise Science and 2 minors in Coaching and Strength and Conditioning. She started working at Profile in 2014, and received her Master's in Exercise Science in 2019. While working for Profile she has coached in MN, KS, and CO. She sort of fell into health coaching by looking for a part time job but fell in love with the amount of 1:1 work we get with our members and seeing them succeed is the best! Host: Austin W. Today's guest: Taylor P. Who am I? (Taylor) I am originally from Michigan and have been in CO for about a year and a half now. I graduated from Michigan State University with my B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Fitness Leadership. I grew up playing soccer and love sports which led me to want to have a career in the Healthcare field. I’m a people person and love helping others, so that mixed with my passion for health and fitness, health coaching seemed like the perfect fit! I love hearing about everyone’s WHY for wanting to change their lifestyle and start this journey. Most members have the same goal – to lose weight and be healthy – but really digging deeper and seeing what drives each individual and coming up with a specific plan for them has been really interesting! What's your mission as a coach? Changing lives for the better! I love empowering members and giving them the little extra push that they need to get to their goal, and seeing them succeed is the best part of this job. I love that we can really get to know our members on a personal level and can work with them to adapt their plan to best fit their lifestyle to set them up for success. There are so many diets out there but ours is truly individualized, down to their DNA! How can Profile help? One-on-one coaching provides members with educational pieces and resources each week that they may not get from just any other diet or just researching on the internet.
