Music encompasses life in a way where words often fall short. If ten people are singing the same song, they’re probably singing it for ten different reasons, and I think that’s really cool. So join me as friends- new and old- sit down and share the songs and stories that mean the most to them. :)

Words don't begin to describe how amazing Timi Meade is! Aside from being so well accomplished in the Grady College of Journalism at UGA, she is the kind of friend we all deserve. She has a bubbly personality as well as an introspective mind, and we're lucky enough to hear from both sides of her in episode one. Timi reframes the concept of ‘sad girl songs,' and finds the glimmer of hope in every Phoebe Bridgers track. I think we can all learn a little something about the way Timi walks through life; especially the way she listens to music. (There are mentions of eating disorders and suicide in this episode. Listener discretion is advised.)
Music shapes how we perceive the world; and who we are as people. Everyone is different, and it's fun to explore that! So, join me as I get to know people through the songs that mean the most to them. It's going to be a blast! :)
