Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms.In this throwback, they're joined by Dance Moms creator John Corella, who was there before the pyramid, before the blowups, and before anyone knew this little dance show from Pittsburgh was about to become a phenomenon.John explains why the original moms and girls worked so well on camera, why their real history mattered, and why the OG cast had something that could not just be manufactured later. It was messy, funny, emotional, competitive, and completely unpolished — which is exactly why it worked.Christi, Kelly, and John also look back on the early chaos of the show, the parts they still love, the parts that became painful, and why Dance Moms really was “lightning in a bottle.”We originally aired this episode back in 2022, but it's been re-edited specifically for YouTube!Grab your tickets to our LIVE TOUR!Connecticut (October 2): https://ridgefieldplayhouse.org/event/back-to-the-barre-ridgefield-ct-2026New York City (October 3): https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/00006518C2C668A9Welcome to Back to the Barre, the ultimate podcast channel where Kelly Hyland and Christi Lukasiak from Dance Moms spill the tea, share the laughs, and take you behind the scenes of your favorite reality TV moments!

Today we're diving into an absolutely wild romance scam involving a man accused of pretending to be a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver—or, depending on the day, an ultra-wealthy Swiss real estate mogul. Authorities say the four-year scheme targeted at least 26 women and brought in roughly $1.3 million. Apparently dating apps weren't stressful enough already. The details only get crazier. The alleged scam included social media accounts packed with 49ers gear, luxury cars and images designed to make the whole thing look legitimate. According to the story discussed on the show, some of the online material was AI-generated, and the fake identity became established enough online that search engines and AI tools reportedly started treating the guy like an actual football player. Then comes the fake wealth. Screenshots supposedly showed bank and investment accounts containing millions of dollars, and once relationships were established, an alleged accomplice would enter the picture as the “wealth manager.” Three-way calls, fake investment returns and promises of high-yield opportunities followed. When victims ran out of money or started asking questions? Suddenly their extremely successful NFL boyfriend became extremely unavailable. It launches the crew into a bigger conversation about romance scams, our weird relationship with wealth and just how easy it has become to manufacture an impressive-looking life online. Rafe points out that you barely need a real podcast anymore—you can film yourself in front of a microphone, dispense some motivational nonsense and convince the internet you've appeared on 400 episodes of something called The Alpha Wealth Mindset Experience.Okay, we made that title up. But you've absolutely seen that guy.Listeners pile on with stories of fake celebrities allegedly trying to scam people, including Martina McBride and Mark Harmon impersonators. If Mark Harmon suddenly slides into Mom's Facebook messages and needs $700 in gift cards, maybe call somebody. That's the kind of public service you only get from a funny podcast with absolutely no qualifications to provide public services. The show also tackles the old belief that celebrity deaths happen in threes and why our brains are so desperate to find patterns in random events. From there, we discover Goodwill is getting into the record-store business with a media-focused concept called Rewind. Vinyl, CDs, cassettes, VHS tapes, vintage audio gear and whatever forgotten three-disc CD changer somebody's mom finally convinced Dad to get out of the basement. It might be heaven. It might smell like somebody else's basement. Either way, we're interested. Then it's time for Crap on Celebrities, where things get wonderfully messy. The crew gets into music and entertainment news, including Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields Festival, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette and Stevie Nicks. That naturally becomes a debate over “Landslide,” including Lern's discovery that apparently nothing evacuates a Colorado bar faster than putting it on the jukebox. There's also Scott Weiland material headed for release, more Korn vinyl reissues, Limp Bizkit joining Spotify's billion-stream club and the continuing realization that the music of our youth is now getting 30th-anniversary editions. Awesome. Love having time itself personally attack us.Elsewhere, an 85-year-old Donna Mills is reportedly making serious money on OnlyFans without full nudity, which sends Rafe into an impromptu financial analysis of the subscription business model. This is technically economics if nobody from an accredited university is listening. The entertainment chaos continues with Coyote vs. Acme, a creepy movie called Buddy that basically asks what would happen if a beloved children's mascot completely snapped, and news of Tom Cruise returning as Cole Trickle for a Days of Thunder sequel alongside Anne Hathaway. The crew also discovers a movie about the creation of Hooters is in development, accidentally invents an entirely different restaurant concept during the conversation, and immediately starts yelling “trademark” because apparently that's how intellectual property law works now. Finally, we get famous musicians trashing other famous musicians. Jack White versus The Black Keys. Madonna versus Lady Gaga. Elton John versus Madonna. Kurt Cobain versus seemingly everybody. Courtney Love versus Taylor Swift. Nick Cave versus the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And Usher telling T-Pain that Auto-Tune messed up music.Nothing brings people together quite like extremely successful artists explaining why other extremely successful artists are terrible.Fake NFL stars. AI-generated lifestyles. Romance scams. KISS Army business. Celebrity impostors. Vinyl nostalgia. Music feuds. OnlyFans economics. Tom Cruise going racing again. And an alarming amount of discussion about Hooters. It's another funny podcast from The Rizzuto Show, where we examine the important stories of our time and then immediately ruin any chance of being taken seriously.Listen now, subscribe, and come back for more celebrity news, weird stories, pop culture commentary, St. Louis humor and daily chaos from Rizz and the gang.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Kelly kicks off the show by sharing the realities of making her farm videos and why Sharon is now interested in trying them herself! The 90's Playlist Picks of the Week get an extra boost this week with three song choices, including a 1995 classic from Monica and Firehouse's "Don't Treat Me Bad." The conversation then takes a funny turn as Kelly and Sharon agree that wearing a kilt while riding a motorcycle might not be the best idea! They also discuss Ella Langley's impressive Billboard Hot 100 run with "Choosin' Texas" and whether she could eventually challenge Mariah Carey's record for the longest-running number one song with "All I Want for Christmas Is You." Rosie O'Donnell continues to make headlines and the ladies discuss why they would love to see her hosting a show again, particularly a late-night talk show. Plus, they pay tribute to Shelley Fabares following her passing at 82 and look back at her memorable role as Christine Armstrong on "Coach" during the 90's. See how you do with Kelly's Trivia questions and Sharon takes you back to 1993 with your 90's Rewind. Thanks for listening to 90's NOW!

Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they're taking a break between seasons to tell the REAL story of how Dance Moms began. Before the show became Dance Moms, before the pyramid became infamous, and before six episodes turned into a full-blown pop culture machine, Christi and Kelly thought they were signing up for something much smaller. Looking back now, they can see all the warning signs they missed, all the chaos that was already building, and how quickly a little dance show from Pittsburgh turned into something none of them could control.Dance Moms fans will love this wacky origin story! We originally aired this episode back in 2022, but it's been re-edited specifically for video!Welcome to Back to the Barre, the ultimate podcast channel where Kelly Hyland and Christi Lukasiak from Dance Moms spill the tea, share the laughs, and take you behind the scenes of your favorite reality TV moments!
Host: Steve Macchia, Guest: Abigail Carroll This episode originally aired on May 4, 2023 as Episode 4 of Season 26. "Poetry is the premise and the tool for submitting myself to beauty." - Abigail Carroll In this concluding conversation of our Summer 2026: Rewind series, Steve Macchia welcomes poet and pastor Abigail Carroll to explore the spiritual significance of beauty, creativity, poetry, and wonder. She shares how God met her through beauty as a child, how she rediscovered her poetic identity after years of silence, and how poetry has become a way of praying, grieving, noticing, and naming God. Together, Steve and Abigail consider what it means to slow down and "submit ourselves to beauty," to allow metaphors to deepen our prayers, and to recognize the creative capacity God has placed within each of us. Whether or not you consider yourself an artist, this conversation invites you to pay attention, receive the beauty around you, and release the creativity God has given you as an offering to him. Some of my favorite conversations on this podcast are the ones where we stop trying to make non-monogamy look perfect and just talk about what it's actually like. This is absolutely one of those episodes. For this Rewind, I'm bringing back my conversation with sex educator Dirty Lola, and ohhhh, there is so much good stuff in this one.Lola takes us through her journey from experimenting with non-monogamy before she even had language for it, to marriage and monogamy, swinging, polyamory, divorce, and eventually building relationships that feel much more aligned with who she actually is.And we talk about the messy parts.Jealousy. Resentment. Agreements that don't work. Agreements people say yes to and then don't actually follow. Feeling unheard. Learning how to ask for what you need. Figuring out what information you actually want about your partner's other relationships. And, of course, compersion. One of my favorite parts of this conversation is how honest we both are about the idea that compersion is supposed to be this magical gold standard of successful polyamory.Sometimes Lola feels it.Sometimes I feel it.And sometimes neutral is fucking fantastic.Because healthy non-monogamy isn't about never feeling jealous or being delighted every time your partner falls in love with someone new. It's about knowing yourself well enough to recognize what's happening, communicate about it, create boundaries that actually support you, and take responsibility for what you do with your feelings. We also get into something I wish more people understood about agreements: don't say yes to something you don't actually agree to.A reluctant yes followed by broken agreements isn't healthier than having the uncomfortable conversation in the first place.Say no. Keep talking. Get curious about what each of you actually needs. Find the version that works for everyone involved. That's collaboration. In this episode, we talk about:Lola's journey from monogamy to swinging and polyamoryDiscovering non-monogamy before having language for itWhat happens when one partner identifies as polyamorous and the other doesn'tJealousy as information instead of something to eliminateRecognizing the unmet needs underneath jealousyRules, boundaries, agreements, and what happens when they're brokenWhy saying yes when you really mean no creates resentmentLearning how to disagree and collaborate instead of fightHow being heard can completely change conflictBreaking old relationship patterns in healthier relationshipsCompersion, jealousy, and why neutrality is a perfectly wonderful place to beKnowing how much you actually want to hear about your partner's other relationshipsWhy it's okay to want some moments to feel like they're just yoursThe very human reality of polyamoryWhy not every form of non-monogamy is polyamoryLola's simple, free practice for getting out of your own head before a difficult conversationThere is so much laughter in this conversation, but there's also a ton of wisdom about what it really takes to build relationships where you can be honest, messy, imperfect, and still deeply loving. If you're navigating jealousy, trying to figure out your boundaries, opening a relationship, or wondering why you don't feel that mythical nonstop compersion everyone keeps talking about, this episode is absolutely worth another listen.Because you don't have to be perfectly polyamorous. You just have to be willing to know yourself, tell the truth, communicate, and keep learning.Enjoy this Rewind with Dirty Lola.Send us Fan MailSupport the show

Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they're revisiting the season 1 special that counted down the 15 most outrageous moments from the very first season. But for Christi and Kelly, this special feels less like a celebration and more like a full hour of reliving their most chaotic, embarrassing, and frustrating moments on national television. From Christi's fight with Abby over Chloe's headpiece to Kelly hiring another choreographer for Paige, the Botox trip, the mom dance, the Afro wig controversy, Minister Dawn, Cathy leaving the team, and the infamous “shove it up your ass” crown moment, season 1 had no shortage of insanity.Christi and Kelly look back on what was really happening behind the scenes, what the show left out, and how strange it was to watch Abby get the last word on so many fights where they were not there to defend themselves. They also revisit some of the funniest and messiest moments from the original cast, while explaining why season 1 had a chemistry that later seasons could never fully recreate. We originally aired this episode back in 2022, but it's been re-edited specifically for YouTube!Welcome to Back to the Barre, the ultimate podcast channel where Kelly Hyland and Christi Lukasiak from Dance Moms spill the tea, share the laughs, and take you behind the scenes of your favorite reality TV moments!
Host: Steve Macchia, Guest: Mark Buchanan This episode originally aired on June 17, 2021 as Episode 3 of Season 11. "The premier physical activity for spiritual formation is walking." — Mark Buchanan In this REWIND episode, Steve Macchia welcomes Mark Buchanan to explore God Walk and what it means to move at "the speed of your soul"—the speed of love and grace. They reflect on Sabbath, attentiveness, companionship with God, and walking faithfully with him. Mark suggests that walking is a deeply embodied practice of spiritual formation. Unlike a race or a march, a pilgrimage is paced by the slowest person, inviting us to accompany one another and resist the hurried, competitive patterns that so easily shape our lives and churches. This episdoe invites you not just to consider "Where are we going?" but, "At what pace are we getting there?" Join the conversation about spiritual discernment as a way of life at www.LeadershipTransformations.org and consider participation in our online and in-person program offerings. THIS WEEK, WE'RE TAKING IT BACK! By popular demand, we're revisiting a powerful and inspiring conversation with Stephanie Spruill—powerhouse vocalist, vocal coach, author, songwriter, and entrepreneur—on the Lin. Woods Gospel Entertainment Podcast, where we talk to inspire! In this Rewind episode, Stephanie takes us behind the scenes of her extraordinary career, including her work as a vocal coach for the $1 billion dollar box office smash hit biopic MICHAEL, her experiences working with Michael Jackson, and her decades-long career providing background vocals for music icons including Whitney Houston, Elton John, Barbra Streisand, and others.Stephanie also opens up about the devastating loss of her home in the Los Angeles fires while she was working on MICHAEL, how the decline of artist development programs at record labels inspired her to create her own lane through vocal coaching and artist development, and the inspiration behind her book, 17 Points to Longevity, and her uplifting single, "Thankful."This is more than a conversation about music—it's a story of faith, resilience, perseverance, purpose, and surviving the unexpected while continuing to pursue your calling. If you missed this episode the first time—or simply need a reminder of Stephanie's powerful testimony—this is one Rewind you don't want to miss!
A Conversation with Executive Producer Simon Allen Reinventing Ankh‑Morpork for a New Medium The Watch is one of the most daring and divisive fantasy adaptations of the last decade — a punk‑rock, genre‑bending police procedural inspired by Terry Pratchett's Ankh‑Morpork City Watch. Developed by BBC Studios for BBC America, the series premiered 3 January 2021 and later arrived on BBC iPlayer on 1 July 2021, introducing viewers to a world where crime, chaos, magic, satire, and rebellion collide. In this episode of Rewind, Tony chatted with Simon Allen, the executive producer who led the charge in transforming Pratchett's beloved Watch into a modern, serialized fantasy adventure. Together, they explore the creative decisions, challenges, inspirations, and controversies behind bringing the Discworld's most dysfunctional police force to life. “Go premium with Sci‑Fi Talk Plus — your home for commercial‑free podcasts and videos. Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they're revisiting season 1, episode 12 (“There's Only One Star”), where the ALDC girls head back to Los Angeles for a music video audition. For once, Abby is not the person choosing the lead, which makes the whole week feel like it could finally be a fair shot. The girls learn hip hop, go through the audition process, and get the chance to be part of a real music video — but behind the scenes, the story was apparently a lot messier than it looked on TV.Christi and Kelly look back on Chloe getting cast in the video, while Kelly reveals she thought Paige was being set up for that opportunity too. After weeks of watching Brooke and Paige get bad costumes, weaker choreography, and constant criticism, Kelly remembers being told this might finally be something positive for Paige — only for the episode to become another Maddie vs. Chloe storyline instead. They also revisit Melissa meeting with the music video producer, Christi taking Chloe to an acting coach, Mackenzie struggling with the choreography, the girls filming in full glam, and the moment Christi realized Dance Moms was becoming a real phenomenon when “Yay Chloe” started trending after the episode aired.
Some conversations are just too good to stay buried in the archives. This week I'm bringing back one of my absolute favorite episodes with Jessica Fern, author of Polysecure, and David Cooley, co-author of Polywise. Even three years later, this conversation feels just as relevant, thoughtful, and practical as it did the first time we recorded it.If you've ever struggled with jealousy, conflict, emotional triggers, or wondered how to build relationships that actually grow stronger through hard conversations, you're going to want to listen to this one. What I love most about this conversation is that Jessica and David don't just teach relationship theory. They share the messy, beautiful reality of living it. They talk openly about opening their relationship, divorce, becoming life partners again, raising a child together, repairing after conflict, and the emotional work it took to get there. We explore what emotional intelligence actually looks like in everyday relationships, why slowing down often creates more freedom than rushing ahead, and how conflict can become one of the greatest pathways to intimacy instead of something to avoid. One of my favorite moments comes near the end of the episode, when Jessica and David turn the tables and interview me about my own journey through jealousy. Looking back now, it's fascinating to hear that conversation knowing how much my work has continued to evolve around helping people move through jealousy with compassion instead of shame. If you're newer to non-monogamy, this episode will give you practical tools for navigating the inevitable challenges that come with growth. If you've been practicing for years, I think you'll still find yourself nodding along and maybe hearing something in a completely new way.In this episode, we talk about:Why relationships don't have to fit an all-or-nothing modelWhat emotional intelligence actually looks like in healthy relationshipsHow to recognize when repair is needed before resentment buildsThe role conflict plays in creating deeper intimacyWorking with nervous system regulation during difficult conversationsWhy curiosity is one of the greatest relationship skills you can developThe power of slowing down while opening a relationshipHealing attachment wounds and building lasting securityWhether polyamory is an identity, an orientation, or a relationship choiceMy personal journey from overwhelming jealousy to emotional freedomWhether you're just opening your relationship or you've been practicing non-monogamy for years, this conversation is full of the kind of wisdom that only comes from people who've done the work themselves.I'd love to hear what stands out to you after listening. Come find me on Instagram and let me know what resonated most.If this episode supports you, please share it with someone who could use a little more compassion, clarity, and hope on their own relationship journey. Thanks for being here, and enjoy this Rewind episode.Send us Fan MailSupport the show
Bill Nye & Brannon Braga on Science, Disasters, and the Stories That Save Lives In this special edition of Rewind, Tony explores the explosive, urgent, and deeply scientific world of The End Is Nye — a series that confronts real natural disasters and shows how science can help us survive, adapt, and rebuild. This episode features two conversations woven together: Bill Nye, host of The End Is Nye, on the science behind extreme weather, natural disasters, and the solutions that can protect us. Brannon Braga, executive producer, on crafting six disaster scenarios, balancing fear with hope, and how his past work — from Star Trek Voyager to Cosmos to The Orville — shaped the series' tone and mission. Together, these interviews reveal how science communication, cinematic storytelling, and real‑world urgency collide in one of the most ambitious disaster‑science series ever made. “Sci‑Fi Talk Plus — your universe, unlocked.”
What if the encrypted traffic flowing across the internet right now (emails, files, logins) is already being quietly collected and stored by someone waiting for the day they can finally crack it open? That's the threat behind "harvest now, decrypt later," and it's closer than most people think. Ron Eddings sits down with Michael Fasulo, Senior Director of Portfolio Marketing at Commvault, to talk about where post-quantum cryptography (PQC) really stands in 2026. They discuss "harvest now, decrypt later," the specific industries quietly racing to prepare, and why a commercially viable quantum machine might only be four years away. Ron and Michael trace the journey from a 1998 hack to today's quantum race, and the good news is there's still time to get ahead of it. Rewind. Did you know there was another SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE besides the animated blockbuster starring Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, and Fred Armisen? The first SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE hit theaters in 1993 and was the first feature-length live-action film based on a video game. Directed by the husband-and-wife team Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel, it follows brothers Mario Mario (Bob Hoskins) and Luigi Mario (John Leguizamo) as they quest to rescue Princess Daisy (Samantha Mathis) from a dystopian parallel universe ruled by the ruthless King Koopa (Dennis Hopper). Unfortunately, it was a box office failure and was widely panned by critics. The credits list three writers, Parker Bennett, Terry Runté, and Ed Solomon. Why did one MARIO movie succeed when the other MARIO movie didn't? That's the big question Sandy and Terry tackle in this episode.

Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they're revisiting season 1, episode 11 (“It All Ends Here”), where the ALDC heads to Lake Tahoe for nationals and Kelly reaches another breaking point with Abby. After weeks of watching Brooke and Paige get bad costumes, weaker choreography, and less attention, Kelly is already exhausted. But when Abby brings up Brooke's national title during another argument, Kelly has had enough — and tells her exactly where she can shove that crown.Christi and Kelly look back on that classic moment. In this Rewind episode, listen as Dr. David J. Johns discusses voting and our rights under attack. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 is gone. Not weakened. Not under threat. Gone. The legal architecture that turned 7% Black voter registration in Mississippi into 60%—dismantled, decision by decision, by a Supreme Court that was never neutral and was never on our side. But that's not even the whole story. Because while the courts were killing the VRA, the Justice Department was being turned into a weapon. FBI agents raided a Black state senator's office mid-day—Fox News already on the scene—while allies under federal investigation had their evidence destroyed. Ballots from Fulton County are in federal custody. Arizona. Michigan. They are building the architecture of election interference before the midterms. In public. And most people don't even know it's happening. This episode is about all of it. The Proud Boys as a militia. The Roberts Court as an antidemocratic enforcement mechanism. The Southern Strategy, sixty years old and running on steroids. And the organizing tradition—Ella Baker, Bayard Rustin, Hungary's opposition movement—that proves rigged maps can be beaten and stolen futures can be reclaimed. This is the class I didn't want to have to teach. But you need it. Pull up.SHOW NOTESThe death of the Voting Rights Act—Shelby County v. Holder (2013), Brnovich v. DNC (2021), and the April 29, 2026 ruling in Louisiana v. Callais, which Justice Elena Kagan called "all but a dead letter."The pardon of 1,500+ January 6th participants and the DOJ's move to vacate the seditious conspiracy convictions of Proud Boys and Oath Keepers leaders. The FBI raid on Fulton County's election center, the subpoenas targeting Arizona and Michigan 2024 ballots, and what it means for the midterms. The mid-day FBI raid on Virginia State Senator Louise Lucas's office, with Fox News cameras already rolling—and not one charge filed. The two-tier justice system in plain sight: evidence destroyed for allies, prosecutions launched against opponents.Elie Mystal's proposal to add 20 justices to structurally change the Supreme Court's incentive for extremism. How Hungary's opposition built 208 local chapters and 50,000 poll watchers—and won a supermajority against a gerrymandered map.The Afrofuturist tradition of Ella Baker and Bayard Rustin as the organizing inheritance we carry forward.Black Power War Room — blackpowerwarroom.com National Black Justice Coalition — nbjc.org NBJC Equity Week — nbjc.orgBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/teach-the-babies-w-dr-david-j-johns--6173854/support.
Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they're revisiting season 1, episode 10 ("Cathy Brings It On!", where the ALDC heads to Los Angeles and Kelly finds herself stuck between a rock and a hard place. After last week's costume disaster, Abby tells Kelly to hire her own choreographer if she is so unhappy with the way Paige is being treated. Kelly ends up doing just that before everything blows up. Paige is sent into a room with a new choreographer, given almost no time to learn a solo, and immediately spirals under the pressure of knowing Abby is going to be furious.Christi and Kelly look back on how unfair the whole setup felt, why Paige was terrified, and how quickly the storyline turned from “Kelly takes control” into Paige getting caught in the middle of another fight between her mom and Abby. For Kelly, this is one of the first episodes where you can really see her starting to crack because the drama is no longer just about her — it is hitting her kids directly. They also revisit the rest of the LA chaos: Shangela teaching Nia the death drop, Cathy bringing Candy Apples into the rivalry, Chloe realizing Taylor is dancing to her exact solo music, Maddie's emotional solo, “My Pumps,” and the competition results that leave Abby furious even after multiple ALDC wins.We originally aired this episode back in 2022, but it's been re-edited specifically for YouTube!Grab your tickets to our LIVE TOUR here: x1entertainment.com/bttb See you in 2026!!Welcome to Back to the Barre, the ultimate podcast channel where Kelly Hyland and Christi Lukasiak from Dance Moms spill the tea, share the laughs, and take you behind the scenes of your favorite reality TV moments!

Rewind four years. Zach Duke looks in the mirror and does not like the man staring back. He is out of shape. He is chronically sick. He is a dad running on empty. So he prays a dangerous prayer. He asks God not to let him move from his chair until the fire comes back. What God says next makes no sense. Play soccer. Zach has never played. He posts his training every day to nobody. Then the internet finds him.Videos with tens of millions of views later, Zach earns a spot on a Team USA World Cup 6x6 roster at an age when most players retire. But this is not a sports story. It is the story of a missionary who has walked through 45 countries, survived a demonic attack, and learned that Jesus wants to be on the field with him. Nate and Luke sit down with the man known as World Cup Dad to talk transformation, the fear of man, and the God who uses the weak things to shame the strong.
