22-year-old Gabrielle Petito was an aspiring blogger from North Point, Florida, who went missing while documenting a cross-country road trip with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie. Sometime along the trip, a concerned citizen in Moab, Utah reported a domestic dispute between the two, ultimately leading to a traffic stop conducted by local PD, (the full body cam footage can be found on YouTube, and is a little over an hour of footage.). Shortly after this incident, Petito was reported missing by her mother in September 11, 2021, after Laundrie had arrived back home in Florida without Gabby by his side on September 1, 2021. Petito's mother reported receiving text messages from her daughter in late August, but now doubts the validity of those messages, wondering if the texts were in fact sent by her daughter. As of September 19, 2021, Petito's body has been believed to be found within the Wyoming National Forrest where she was reported to be last, however, police have not yet confirmed wether the remains fact are in fact Petito's. Laundrie has also been reported missing by his parents as of September 17, 2021, and is being sought after by police and FBI as a person of interest, regarding the disappearance and whereabouts of Gabrielle Petito. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/rottingmindspodcast/message
