SHU-IZMZ will be having a bunch of horror film dvd giveaways and contests as the holidays begin to get started. Fall is here in Chicago and Winter is just around the corner, as is Christmas, so why not start the giving early! I got a bunch of dvds, some copies of the first printing of the official SHU-IZMZ Zine, as well as some a few shirts to give away to some lucky contestants. All one has to do is tune in today and listen to the show, join the chat room, and get the details. Also on today's show will be my coverage of the MUSIC BOX MASSACRE 7 and TERROR IN THE AISLES 9! Find out what I think of AMERICAN HORROR STORY on FX Networks and the latest movies I have seen, as well as a couple of books I just read.

We will be talking about MUD ZOMBIES (2008) a.k.a. Mangue Negro. Some call it Brazil's answer to Dead Alive a.k.a. Braindead, but I just think it is another awesome entry to the zombie genre! Also talked about will be some other films that have been watched and reviewed, such as RAGE from Christopher R. Witherspoon, an indie horror film I just viewed.  

Due to BTR's hefty price hike for the Premium  accounts (over $40) and lowering the free shows from 2 hours down to a measley 30 minutes, the show will be short. VERY SHORT. Tune in. This Thursday, February 10th, Shu will be have his first guest in a...COMEDY? Yes! You heard it right. I am having the beautiful TANGI MILLER on the show, star of the upcoming Urban Comedy MY GIRLFRIEND"S BACK, starring Miller of LEPRECHAUN: BACK 2 THA HOOD fame and Malik Yoba (Tyler Perry's WHY DID I GET MARRIED?). MY GIRLFRIEND'S BACK centers around a man (YOBA) and his decision to get married to an over-bearing fiancee or go back to his ex-girlfriend (MILLER). Having been married and divorced myself, this film was all too personal for me, in some regards. Tune in to another unique program as Shu goes in to uncharted territory in talking about a smart, urban, romantic comedy.
