On this third Sunday of Advent, we find ourselves journeying with someone other than Jesus. Instead, we're hanging out with the camel hair-wearing, locust-eating John the Baptist. It seems that Jesus wasn't the only one the religious leaders were willing to interrogate. Join hosts, Karin Peter and Blake Smith as they wander with John … clearly NOT Jesus, but rather the one that points to him. Perhaps we can pick up a few pointers from John as we wait for the true “light” to come. Listen to more from the Coffee to Go series. Download the Transcript. This transmission unfolds as a ceremonial journey through sound, frequency, and ancestral memory, opening with heart-activating tones that clear the channel and invite presence. Known for her unique approach of slowing tempos to a near-suspended state, Mona stretches rhythm into something hypnotic and ambient, allowing each track to breathe and dissolve into the next. Organic percussion, devotional vocals, and ancestral echoes weave Afro-indigenous and Middle Eastern textures into a deep, meditative flow where dance becomes ritual and listening becomes remembrance. ⚡️Like the Show? We're reposting an episode from October with Teagasc Dairy Specialist, Patrick Gowing, who joined James Dunne on the Dairy Edge to discuss how to best manage surplus cash, build financial resilience, review production costs, and ensure farmers are best prepared for 2026. As 2025 draws to a close, it will be remembered as one of the best farming years in recent memory due to strong milk prices, increased stock values and good weather for most parts. This means that dairy farm incomes are in a good place for the 2025 calendar year. Although it has to be acknowledged milk prices have seen significant reductions in the last number of months, the effects of this will be felt more so in spring 2026 as higher constituents at this time of year are having a positive impact on the farm gate prices received. Kyle Watson lands on The Podcast this week, and the timing could not be better. The South African groove-smith drops a slick, low-slung session packed with bounce, bite and club-ready muscle. This one hits on 10th December and it goes straight for that late-night basement energy we all miss until the weekend rolls in. The Podcast has been a home for global players for years. From fresh faces to scene leaders, it's built a rep for forward sounds and sweaty warehouse flavours. Kyle fits right in. His rise has been wild to watch, and this mix shows why. Sharp drums. Naughty basslines. Pure dancefloor lift every few minutes. You can tell he's been shaping his own lane for over a decade, and the confidence shows in every transition. Kyle built his name with a signature blend: crisp sound design, thick rhythms and that playful swing nobody else quite nails. The Podcast gives him space to stretch. And he takes it. Across the full tracklist he stitches together chunky rollers, vocal sparks, deep grooves and late-night stompers. You'll catch his own heaters too, including “Feel,” “Slow Motion,” “Bad Luck,” and the big crowd favourite “Double Dutch.” It's a smart spread. Heads will love the range, and new fans will fall in fast. The flow is tight. Starting with warm house shimmer from Flo.Von & Max Metzinger, he pushes into peak-time punch with Jake Bleu & CHAN before hitting that sweet tech-leaning crunch from Dunmore Brothers and Dusky. Rechunks drop in like secret weapons, especially his take on Solomun's remix of "Around" and the RÜFÜS cut “Pressure.” Each switch has purpose. Each drop hits clean. The whole thing feels like a sold-out rooftop party drifting into a packed warehouse at 3am. Kyle's touring history shows. Crowds in South America, the States, Aus and NZ already know the deal. Big energy. Big personality. Big low-end. And it translates here. This mix is built to move bodies. It's aimed at dancers who listen close and ravers who just want the system rattled. If you love groove-led house with real flavour, this week's Podcast is your fix. In this reposted episode, host Zach Urness talks about the mythic Grove of Titans, a collection of the largest redwood trees on earth, located just south of the Oregon and California state line. This podcast, which originally published in 2021, focuses on a recently completed trail system that provides access to the Grove inside northern California's Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Previously, the grove was closed after overuse and crowding brought damage to the trees and surrounding forest. Zach details what makes the Titans, which rise 320 feet and are 1,500 years old, so unique and special. He also details the history of how the grove was discovered by scientists and big tree hunters in the 1990s and then subsequently damaged by overuse and internet fame.
