What if life is a game—and you've been playing it without knowing the cheat codes?Steve Young has spent 37 years studying the Hermetic Principles—ancient universal laws that govern how reality actually works. He's the creator of the Ammortal chamber, a transformational technology that has helped people reverse genetic disorders and experience direct connection with the divine. In this episode, Steve goes deep into how you can use these principles to defy the laws of reality and stack the cards in your favor. In this episode, you'll discover:→ The 7 Hermetic Laws and how they allow you to "go God mode" in your own life→ Why every word you speak is a spell—and how to cast ones that create freedom→ The single word swap that instantly shifts your vibration from heavy to light→ Why "I know" keeps you trapped in masculine energy and blocks deeper truth→ How to reframe trauma as a "divine seed" instead of something to heal→ The illusion of "you're not there yet" and how it's been programmed into everything→ Why your story about an action is more powerful than the action itself→ The Ho'oponopono practice that brought Steve nine consecutive days of miraclesYou are not just human. You are not even superhuman. You are a divine being—both the coder and the player of this game called life. The words you speak, the stories you believe, the identities you hold—they are all shaping your reality in real time. This episode is your invitation to remember who you really are. This week I sit down with Dr. Stephen Porges, a Distinguished University Scientist at Indiana University where he is the founding director of the Traumatic Stress Research Consortium. He is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina, and Professor Emeritus at both the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Maryland. He served as president of the Society for Psychophysiological Research and the Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences and is a former recipient of a National Institute of Mental Health Research Scientist Development Award. He has published more than 400 peer-reviewed papers across several disciplines including anesthesiology, biomedical engineering, critical care medicine, ergonomics, exercise physiology, gerontology, neurology, neuroscience, obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, psychometrics, space medicine, and substance abuse. In 1994 he proposed the Polyvagal Theory, a theory that links the evolution of the mammalian autonomic nervous system to social behavior and emphasizes the importance of physiological state in the expression of behavioral problems and psychiatric disorders. The theory is leading to innovative treatments based on insights into the mechanisms mediating symptoms observed in several behavioral, psychiatric, and physical disorders. He is the author of multiple books on his Polyvagal Theory: including the Neurophysiological foundations of Emotions, Attachment, Communication, and Self-regulation, as well as Polyvagal Safety: Attachment, Communication, Self-Regulation. His newest book cowritten with his son is called Our Polyvagal World, How Safety and Trauma Change Us. Dr. Porges is the creator of a music-based intervention, the Safe and Sound Protocol ™ (SSP), which is used by therapists to improve social engagement, language processing, and state regulation, as well as to reduce hearing sensitivities. This is such a fascinating conversation. He brings the worlds of psychiatry and anthropological physiology into union for us to understand the why of trauma reactions and the future unwinding that is now possible. This is a must listen to conversation if you know anyone with trauma history. Please enjoy my conversation with Professor Porges, Dr. M

As we close out 2025 and head into the New Year, we're sharing one final Best of episode before returning with new conversations in January. This week's replay is Alex's top pick from the year, a conversation that stood out for its relevance, insight, and the questions it generated from listeners. We'll be back soon with brand new episodes in 2026. Until then, Happy New Year, and thank you for being part of the Retire With Style community! Repost from Episode 174 In this episode of Retire with Style, Wade Pfau and Alex Murguia sit down with Dr. Daniel Crosby, a leading voice in behavioral finance, to unpack the psychological side of investing in today's volatile markets. Together, they examine how market swings and media noise shape investor behavior—and why having a thoughtful media diet and disciplined decision-making framework is more important than ever. This conversation lays the foundation for next week's episode, where the discussion will shift toward deeper questions of wealth and meaning. Listen now to learn more! Takeaways Market volatility can trigger anxiety—even among professionals. It's normal to feel fear during downturns, but those emotions don't have to drive your decisions. Limiting exposure to financial news may help you stay focused and make better choices. Recognizing the incentives behind financial media can help you consume it more critically. More information isn't always better—clarity often comes from less, not more. Patience matters. Reminding yourself that “this too shall pass” can be grounding. Uncertainty often causes more stress than bad news itself. Taking time to reflect before acting can lead to better financial outcomes. We tend to give others better advice than we give ourselves—pause and consider what you'd tell a friend. Automation and structured plans are powerful tools to reduce emotional decision-making. Sligo. Jonathan talks to us about their contract rearing system and we delve into the performance and management of the ewe flock in detail. It's a very special encore interview with legendary producer Martin “Youth” Glover! This is one of my favorite episodes ever! Not only because we talk about some his production credits such as working with Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Gun & Roses, U2, Kate Bush, The Verve, and many others. But also, because he was the longtime bass player from one of my all-time favorite bands: Killing Joke. An absolute thrill of an interview! (Note: This interview was recorded just four months before the death of Killing Joke guitarist Geordie Walker). Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and on the Rock102 app. Brought to you by Metro Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Chicopee.
During the holiday break, Jon and Joe wanted to reshare some of their favorite episodes. This episode originally aired on June 23, 2025.___This season has been about good and bad ideas, and we are concluding with Jon's thoughts on a journey he's been on through early American history. In his 1989 book Albion's Seed, Dr. David Hackett Fischer describes how four groups of English settlers brought utopian ideals to the New World and created the foundations of what became the United States. Jon takes us through these English "folkways" and identifies some good and bad ideas that were part of America's cultural identity and how we still see them today.

Its not for the faint hearted – you're dealing with dangerous people who do terrible things, and your job is to make as big an audience as possible aware of the crimes they commit. So who'd want to do a job like that? Well, Nicola Tallant for one. Nicola is one of Ireland's best-known crime journalists. After years writing about crime, she then started talking about it on a podcast she created called Crime World – which is now one of the most-listened to podcasts in the country. She also does live stage shows, writes a book every year and regularly appears in the media. In this episode of The Mario Rosenstock Podcast, Nicola and I talk about why she is so fascinated by crime journalism and what and drives her to work so hard at it. We also talk open and honestly about those characters we all seem to find so compelling, like Christy and Daniel Kinahan, Gerry the monk Hutch, and Conor McGregor. And there are also quite a few very funny moments.COMEDY - Rory MclIroy's phone is hopping after his big win at The Masters.Produced by Patrick Haughey, AudioBrand
This week we're bringing you a repost of one of the most powerful Sovereign Session episodes that dives into radical healing, self-sovereignty, and what happens when you refuse to surrender your health to fear. In this episode of the Awake & Winning Podcast, Kaylor sits down with Barb Moylan, a lifelong fitness professional who was blindsided by an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis and chose a completely unconventional path. Instead of chemotherapy, Barb pursued root-cause testing, metabolic healing, and a full holistic protocol that shrunk her tumors before surgery and has kept her cancer-free one year later. Kaylor highlights the failures of the Western medical system, the power of functional medicine, and the importance of taking responsibility for your own health and liberation. Barb's story is raw, courageous, and a testament to trusting your intuition, fighting for your life, and becoming truly sovereign in your healing. Episode Highlights: holistic healing, sovereignty, cancer journey, functional medicine, root-cause testing, breast cancer, alternative treatments, metabolic health, intuition, medical system critique, online business freedom, nervous system empowerment Takeaways: Why fear dominates cancer treatment decisions How Barb shrunk tumors without chemotherapy The importance of DNA, hormone, and gut testing The failures of conventional oncology and "standard of care" How intuition and sovereignty shape healing Why root-cause health is the ultimate prevention How Barb is turning her story into a coaching business If this episode lit a fire under you, don't keep it to yourself. As the year comes to a close, we're taking a moment to revisit a few of our favorite Retire With Style episodes from 2025. This week, we're replaying one episode that stood out in particular as Wade's favorite conversation of the year, based on both the discussion and the questions it sparked from listeners. We'll be back with brand new episodes after the holiday break. Thanks for listening this year, and we look forward to continuing the conversation in 2026. Repost from Episode 195 In this episode of Retire with Style, Wade Pfau and Alex Murguia talk with William Bengen, pioneer of the 4% rule in retirement planning. They explore the rule's evolution, how inflation and market valuations shape sustainable withdrawals, and Bengen's current recommendations. The discussion highlights the role of asset allocation, the importance of withdrawal strategies, and why ongoing monitoring is essential for a secure retirement. Takeaways William Bengen modernized retirement income planning with the 4% rule. Inflation is a critical factor in determining sustainable withdrawal rates. Market volatility can significantly impact retirement portfolios. A comprehensive withdrawal plan should consider multiple factors. Current recommendations suggest a withdrawal rate of around 5.5%. Asset allocation plays a vital role in retirement planning. Investors should consider a rising equity glide path strategy. Regular monitoring and adjustments to retirement plans are essential. High inflation can permanently elevate withdrawal amounts. The 4% rule is not a one-size-fits-all solution.
