Tonight's guest, Joey, lists running into a Werewolf, in the woods, as being one of the last things he'd ever want to experience. As fate would have it, though, he had a Dogman encounter in his sister's neighborhood. He says he wasn't traumatized by the experience but after having it, he refuses to do several things in the woods he used to do before he had that encounter. Bryan counters with his CIA experience, explaining that any phone-based voting system would be a prime target for foreign intelligence services. He argues that electronic voting in any form creates undetectable vulnerabilities that nations like China and Russia would exploit. How the Afghan Terrorist Was Radicalized: New reporting shows that Rahmanullah Lakanwal told his wife he was meeting with members of the Tablighi Jamaat, a Deobandi revivalist movement with a long history of extremism. The group has terror cells in parts of the United States, and Lakanwal previously assisted the CIA in killing their members overseas. Bryan explains why investigators are now trying to determine whether cells in Phoenix, San Diego, Chicago, Indianapolis, or on the East Coast are connected to the attack. Senator Proposes Ending Dual Citizenship: Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno introduced a bill requiring Americans to hold only United States citizenship. He argues that dual allegiance creates legal and security conflicts and says becoming an American should be an all-or-nothing commitment. Bryan encourages listeners who support the idea to contact their senators and weigh in. Mental Health Research Offers Hope: Studies show that taking a weeklong break from social media reduces depression and insomnia. Don Niesen has lived in Central Wisconsin for about 25 years now. He describes Central Wisconsin as being a totally different world from where he grew up in Racine, Wisconsin. After moving to Central Wisconsin, he's had multiple encounters with various types of wildlife, but none of those encounters moved the needle for Don nearly as much as an encounter he had while he was driving to his parent's house, one evening. As he was driving down a rural section of highway, heading to their house, he was on the lookout for deer. Deer-related car crashes are a big problem in that area. All of a sudden, up ahead, he could see a large, black figure, on the side of the road, pulling at something in the ditch. At first, Don thought it was a bear. Then, it did something no bear could do and at that moment, Don's jaw dropped. For many, the first mission of the day is navigating Batuu.I headed straight to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, where the sounds of droids and starships fill the air. There's nothing quite like wandering the market stalls as the land wakes up. I hopped in line for Rise of the Resistance, which—no matter how many times you've ridden—is jaw-droppingly immersive. From the First Order Star Destroyer hangar to the runaway escape pod, it's more than a ride; it's a cinematic moment you get to live.Then it was time for a little friendly competition on Smugglers Run. I'm not saying I was the best pilot the Millennium Falcon has ever seen, but I did manage to avoid crashing into anything major.Late Morning: Toy Story Fun & NostalgiaFrom the rugged outpost of Batuu, I strolled into the colorful world of Toy Story Land. Giant building blocks, oversized toy footprints, and Slinky Dog whizzing by—everything here feels like Saturday morning nostalgia.Slinky Dog Dash is the perfect family coaster: smooth, joyful, fast enough to thrill but still full of charm. Andrew Wolfe remains in critical condition while Specialist Sarah Beckstrom is laid to rest after last week's terror attack in Washington. DHS confirmed the attacker, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, was a former CIA-backed Afghan Zero Unit fighter who was radicalized after arrival in the United States. Investigators say he drifted between Washington State, Arizona, and the East Coast with little oversight, revealing systemic vetting failures across multiple administrations.   Vetting Breakdown Exposed: Inspector General reports show that over two hundred thousand Afghans brought into the country during the 2021 evacuation were admitted with almost no reliable databases, poor ID verification, and limited interagency cooperation. Massive Welfare Fraud in Minnesota Funding Terrorism Allegations that Minnesota taxpayers indirectly funded the terrorist group Al-Shabab through fraudulent welfare programs. Fraud reportedly involved members of the Somali community, with billions of dollars stolen and millions sent to Somalia, some ending up with Al-Shabaab. The program cited is Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services (HHS), which ballooned from an estimated $2.6 million to over $104 million annually before being scrapped. Criminal indictments have been announced, but the commentary criticizes lack of media coverage and political accountability. University of Minnesota’s “Whiteness Pandemic” Concept The university published material describing “whiteness” as a cultural pandemic driving racism. Family systems perpetuate whiteness and calls for self-reflection and re-education for white individuals.
