Dive into an offbeat discussion about Warwick Davis and his unforgettable roles, from the iconic leprechaun battling gangsters in Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood to the magical world of Willow. We explore the quirks of his monster leprechaun character, his humorously exaggerated persona in HBO's Life's Too Short, and even a bootlegged sequel to Willow. Along the way, we reminisce about St. Patrick's Day traditions, question Ireland's snake-free status, and reflect on how pinching classmates for not wearing green might be considered assault today. It's a sarcastic, witty journey through nostalgia, green shirts, and Warwick Davis's eclectic career.
This week on Exploit It, we're heading back to the streets with Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood!
Send us a textIt's that time of year again. Time to celebrate St. Patrick's day with the best/worst tradition ever: a Leprechaun movie!!Last year, Leprechaun went to the hood, and the studio liked it so much, they went back a second time! This week, Pete is discussing Leprechaun Back 2 The Hood, the follow-up that lacks any of the charm, humor, or self-awareness of its predecessor. This entry was so bad it put the franchise into hibernation for over a decade and had to be followed by a complete reboot.Join us as we discuss shady fortune tellers, the mysteries of overnight construction jobs, and the disappointment of a non-magic using Leprechaun. So hold on to your pot of gold, avoid any four leaf clovers, and as always: don't get too scared!
Page Kennedy joins the pod to discuss the myriad bangers he's starred in including ‘The Meg,' ‘Meg 2' and ‘Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood' (just to name a few!), the perfect role that he was turned down for, the scene he did with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau that audiences hated so much that it had to be removed from the movie, why his name wouldn't make the press release if he was in a bus crash with Samuel Jackson and Colin Farrell, and much more. Page and Stav help callers including a woman dating a guy who tried to pass off someone else's art as his own, and a mother whose disdain is growing for her misbehaved middle school son. The sixth entry in the Leprechaun series and technically a sequel to Leprechaun in the Hood, Back 2 tha Hood takes a much more serious tone than its predecessor. Weirdly enough it may have the best acting in the entire series. But is it enough to balance the total shift the movie makes?Remember to join our Discord for movie nights and further podcast discussions!Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-other-half/exclusive-content
Talking Trash is a show to discuss movies that some people deem to be garbage, mediocre or just one that people never knew existed, we talk through the plot in spoiler fashion while asking "is this a bad movie?" And if not "what is the worst movie ever made?"It's March which Is the month of Saint Patrick's day and we are celebrating the only way we know how, by watching "The Leprechaun" films. Jumping over 1 and 2 and getting into the extreme cheese with part 6, which finds him in the hood, again. So grab your Shilling and come with us as we make sense out of it all.Music by Karl Casey @whitebataudio on Instagram and YouTube. You can find us on Instagram @justanothermovienight and @thecraftymisfitThanks for listening! It's St. Patrick's Day once again so of course we're reviewing a Leprechaun film! This time it's Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood. I brought on comedian Manny Muskets since he has a lot of knowledge about Irish people since he was next door neighbors to them when he was living in Foggy London Town.
Welcome back to Franchise Me! This week we head to “The Hood” and welcome back Producer Tony to the podcast as we continue our journey and break down the fifth and sixth films in the Leprechaun franchise, Leprechaun in the Hood and Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood . We finish the Warwick Davis Leprechaun franchise (finally - it feels like we've done an episode almost every year since our start!) with the painful Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood. If you heard our episode on Leprechaun in the Hood, you'll know we were not satisfied with Leprechaun's first trip, so heading back for a second excursion in the hood is another exercise in pain. Honestly, this one is a little bit better, but not by much - there's really not much more that can be done with the franchise, and we talk about that in detail. Hopefully you enjoy spending your St. Paddy's day with us! We're drinking Fidens' Collecting Shinies S'mores stout! Yikes. We've done the original, we've done the 2000s remake. Now we're back for Netflix's new requel Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which supposedly did so poorly in its test screenings that it did not get a theatrical release. We experience this firsthand with notations about exactly why this movie doesn't work. The excessive wokeness! The aping from Halloween 2018! The unlikable characters! Leatherface plain old having a crappy mask! Ultimately, we land on the movie is fine, watchable, but ultimately not good. Also we're drinking Artisinal Brew Works' Birria di Capriccio Italian Pilsener. Rounding out the latter portion of the Leprechaun franchise, Amy & Erica are talking about the last 4 films of the series including Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996), Leprechaun in the Hood (2000), Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003), & Leprechaun: Origins (2014). We're drinking some Smithwick's Irish Red Ale while discussing how much zanier this section gets, as if that were even possible.
GET LUCKY! It's almost St. Patrick's Day and in honor of that we decided to watch two extremely bigoted movies about the Irish. We've already seen Leprechaun: in the Hood so we settled down to see the sequel to the sequel, Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha' Hood. We've also got Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) Luck of the Irish starring Ryan Merriman. Eric argues it's the best DCOM ever, but Holly argues that title goes to Brink. Eventually they agree that it's Johnny Tsunami and everyone wins. Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!

In the last LISTENER TAKEOVER, BigTopBear has requested me to cover the culture-clash-sequel-to-a-sequel oddity LEPRECHAUN BACK 2 THA HOOD. To counteract (or exacerbate) the awkwardness, I'm joined by the dynamic duo of STACEY PARKER and CINDY KINNARD-DIAMOND from the totally bonkers CREEPY KITCH podcast! (Segment begins at 18:00)
This episode we talk about the cult classic Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood. What happens when the screen writers get so lazy that they forget the horror of the horror film and just thug out? You get this lovely film. Thanks for Don't Go Down That Road Podcast for the film suggestion!

Leprechaun in the ghetto is quite appropriate when you consider the series. J. and Brian have their fun with Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood.
This Thursday, February 10th, Shu will be have his first guest in a...COMEDY? Yes! You heard it right. I am having the beautiful TANGI MILLER on the show, star of the upcoming Urban Comedy MY GIRLFRIEND"S BACK, starring Miller of LEPRECHAUN: BACK 2 THA HOOD fame and Malik Yoba (Tyler Perry's WHY DID I GET MARRIED?). MY GIRLFRIEND'S BACK centers around a man (YOBA) and his decision to get married to an over-bearing fiancee or go back to his ex-girlfriend (MILLER). Having been married and divorced myself, this film was all too personal for me, in some regards. Tune in to another unique program as Shu goes in to uncharted territory in talking about a smart, urban, romantic comedy.
