In this episode, we discuss stigma, in particular social stigma. This is a big topic and something that continues to come up time and time again in our society, unconscious bias and the challenges people face today. Working in housing, we know the impact this can have on both people and our communities. This discussion is about understanding how and why stigma shows up and, most importantly, the creative steps we can take to help make positive change. In this episode, I'm delighted to be joined by my guest and colleague Roger Wilshaw (Director, Neighbourhoods at Places for People) and Victoria McCaskill.

Debi sits down with Pat Egan of Places for People in the next episode of Styling It Out to talk about Retirement. There is a stigma about retirement and often people don't go into it with a plan. His little black book of ideas indicates he is!
In the first episode of #StylingItOut Debi uncovered the connection between pleasure and guilt. Do we really take enough time for ourselves without feeling remorse after? In this episode we explore this further and head to the streets to ask people what makes them happy and does this happiness come with guilt? We look at how people define happiness and how we can start a conversation with some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
