On this Five Minute Friday, Amanda Fairley and Nikki Bogardus of PrismXI join us to unpack one of the most transformative tools in personal style: color analysis. Nikki has spent sixteen years studying the science of color, and together, Amanda and Nikki break down how the right colors impact confidence, first impressions, shopping habits, and the way you show up in life and business. They explain why traditional four-season color analysis often falls short — and how the 12-season method creates a more accurate, inclusive, and empowering approach for every individual. You'll learn: Why color creates the very first impression before anything else The three dimensions of color you must understand for an accurate result How knowing your colors saves money and simplifies your wardrobe The science behind why some colors flatter us and others distract How PrismXII's 12-season method is 3x more precise than traditional color analysis
Jennifer Principe is a stylist, author, speaker, and founder whose work blends fashion, faith, and emotional healing. After spending 14 years as a celebrity wardrobe stylist, she felt called to create something more meaningful — a space where style becomes a pathway back to confidence, dignity, and self-worth. She is the author of A Common Thread, a spiritually rooted memoir that explores clothing as a tool for inner transformation, and the founder of The Phoenix Effect, a nonprofit offering full styling, hair, makeup, and photography experiences for individuals facing life-debilitating illnesses. Her work has been featured on KTLA, BBC, Inside Edition, and across major outlets for its impact and heart. Before you listen to this episode, I want to share something with you: finding your purpose rarely appears as a straight, clear path. Sometimes it unfolds slowly, in detours and seasons we don't fully understand at the time. When Jennifer told me she worked thirty different jobs before realizing what she was meant to do, it struck me in the best possible way. It's a reminder that the things we're drawn to — the small nudges, the recurring interests, the quiet whispers — aren't random. They're direction. In this conversation, Jennifer opens up about her journey from a difficult childhood to a thriving styling career, and how she ultimately discovered the deeper calling beneath it.Jennifer shares the moment she first learned about “enclothed cognition,” the idea that what we wear can shift how we feel and how we move through the world. It's something she intuitively understood as a little girl seeking peace and play in the back of her grandmother's gift shop. And then there's the moment that changed everything: she's out on a run, overwhelmed by life transitions, when she feels an unmistakable inner pull telling her to stop and give her gift away. She listens. She makes one phone call from the side of the road. That call becomes the beginning of The Phoenix Effect, a nonprofit that has helped countless individuals see themselves again with warmth, strength, and hope.Today, Jennifer has stepped away from her 14-year styling career to fully embrace this mission. When I asked her about fear, she told me she's more afraid of never reaching her full potential than she is of stumbling along the way. There's something incredibly grounding about that. Her book, A Common Thread, captures her journey beautifully — blending storytelling, faith, healing, and practical tools to help you reconnect with who you are at your core. If you've been waiting for a sign, waiting for clarity, waiting to feel ready… let this episode be the moment that encourages your next step. Launch Your Box Podcast with Sarah Williams | Start, Launch, and Grow Your Subscription Box
Do you ever sit down, open Facebook or Instagram, and think, “I have no idea what to post today”? You're not alone. Every subscription box owner has those days. I have good news. If you're shipping a box every month, your content is already in your hands. Literally. One box = 30 days of content. In this week's Friday Fuel episode of The Launch Your Box Podcast, I'm walking you through exactly how to turn a single subscription box into an entire month of posts, emails, and videos. And how to batch it all in a single day. Shift Your Mindset: You Already Have the Content Before we jump into ideas, let's change the way you think about content. Instead of asking: “What should I post today?”... Start asking: “How can I talk about this one box in different ways that connect with my audience?” You've already spent hours curating, packing, and presenting that box. Let it work harder for you. Content doesn't have to be new. It does have to be useful and consistent. The Breakdown: 30 Days of Content From One Subscription Box Your monthly plan, no guesswork required. Static Post Ideas (15 posts) Flat lays Product spotlights Behind-the-scenes photos Testimonials Theme graphics Polls Personal stories These visuals help your followers connect the dots between your box and the value it delivers. Email Ideas (1–2 per week) Sneak peeks Full reveals How-to guides “Last day to order” reminders Remember, your subscribers live busy lives. These emails keep your box top of mind and your waitlist full. Live Video Topics Unboxings Packing parties Styling demos Q&As. Go live, connect, and show off the passion behind your brand. Long-Form Content Ideas Blog posts like “5 Ways to Use This Month's Box” or “Behind the Scenes: How We Chose This Theme” boost your SEO and give you evergreen content to repurpose later. Create 30 Days of Content from ONE Subscription Box… All in One Day You don't need to create content every day. You just need one content day per month. On your next packing or reveal day, block out 2–3 hours to capture: Full-box flat lays and product close-ups You holding or packing the box Short video clips for Reels Selfies or lifestyle shots with the products From that one session, you'll walk away with: 15+ social posts 4–6 Reels Photos for emails and blogs Visuals for stories and highlights Smart marketing that respects your time?

Nissan’s small Qashqai SUV was freshened earlier this year in a re-aligned model range with a new N-Design grade flagship with hybrid power standard – the Qashqai e-Power hybrid N-Design $58,990 drive-away. Nissan have added new technology and equipment, freshened the styling, at the same time cutting the previous rather high servicing costs and providing a longer warranty – but hybrid pricing remains high compared to petrol Qashqai models. However, the e-Power N-Design is packed with premium features – leather seats with massage function, a panoramic glass roof, 20-inch alloy wheels, a power tailgate and a most impressive digital dash and touchscreen, thankfully with a mix of buttons The 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbo in the petrol models replaced by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol turbo – and here the e-Power works differently to a conventional hybrid – the petrol engine purely powers a generator connected to a 2.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack – only the e-motor drives the front wheels – this hybrid system adds around 200 kilos over a conventional petrol Qashqai but it offers over a 900km driving range. Despite the e-Power hybrids exalted price tag the drive experience is very rewarding. Warranty including battery five-years unlimited km or an impressive 10-years/300,000km if serviced by a Nissan dealer.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode, I'm joined by fabulous Nicky Hambleton-Jones, best known as the presenter of the hit TV show 10 Years Younger, but who's work goes far beyond makeovers.Together, we explore how style becomes more than skin-deep — especially in midlife, when confidence can feel elusive and identity is in flux. This is a conversation about self-image, visibility, and using what you wear as a tool to remember who you are — and who you're becoming.Together, we explore:Why so many women feel invisible in midlife — and how bold style choices can disrupt that patternHow clothes can shift energy, rewire identity, and invite a new way of beingHow an “alter ego” can interrupt self-doubt and create momentumThe quiet power of a well-constructed outfit (that fits you — not who you used to be)Styling strategies that support your actual life and that make you feel aliveThis episode is for any woman who's ever caught her reflection and felt the ache of disconnection — and wants to reclaim style as a source of power, not pressure.Because midlife isn't about shrinking or settling. Like probably most of you, my 20s was a wild roller coaster of unhinged fashion choices. I kicked off my 20s Gossip Girl style - wearing peplum skirts and heels to my classes at NYU (in 40 degree weather, mind you). I entered my mid-20s as a sneakerhead with a collection that should have probably landed me somewhere on Complex, and then also survived pandemic fashion. Now at 30, my focus is laser sharp on investing in pieces that will last a lifetime and I feel more like myself than ever. In today's episode, I talk through the most impactful style learnings from my last decade that are helping me thrive in this new one. Love the show? Follow us and leave a review!
