Nissan’s small Qashqai SUV was freshened earlier this year in a re-aligned model range with a new N-Design grade flagship with hybrid power standard – the Qashqai e-Power hybrid N-Design $58,990 drive-away. Nissan have added new technology and equipment, freshened the styling, at the same time cutting the previous rather high servicing costs and providing a longer warranty – but hybrid pricing remains high compared to petrol Qashqai models. However, the e-Power N-Design is packed with premium features – leather seats with massage function, a panoramic glass roof, 20-inch alloy wheels, a power tailgate and a most impressive digital dash and touchscreen, thankfully with a mix of buttons The 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbo in the petrol models replaced by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol turbo – and here the e-Power works differently to a conventional hybrid – the petrol engine purely powers a generator connected to a 2.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack – only the e-motor drives the front wheels – this hybrid system adds around 200 kilos over a conventional petrol Qashqai but it offers over a 900km driving range. Despite the e-Power hybrids exalted price tag the drive experience is very rewarding. Warranty including battery five-years unlimited km or an impressive 10-years/300,000km if serviced by a Nissan dealer.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Julia opens up about the bold decision to leave her corporate job at 42 to pursue content creation and entrepreneurship full time. She shares how consistent storytelling helped her build authority online, land clients like Zooey Deschanel, and scale a brand that reaches millions across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This conversation goes deep on the creator mindset: how to own your niche, why personal branding matters, and the real challenges of pivoting careers later in life. Julia also shares why understanding your personal color palette isn't just about style, it's a branding superpower for any creator who shows up on camera. We're back! Happy September! I feel like a new person! Last month, I underwent the biggest closet overhaul I've ever done, cutting my closet in half and completely rethinking the way I get dressed. In this episode, I'm sharing the process - from the filters I used to decide what stayed and what went, to the surprising gaps I discovered, to how I now shop with intention, these are the takeaways that have transformed my style (and made getting dressed every morning so much easier). If you're looking to revamp your style, edit your wardrobe down to feel more intentional, or purge ahead of the new season, this episode is for you.To read more about it, head over to my Substack. Like probably most of you, my 20s was a wild roller coaster of unhinged fashion choices. I kicked off my 20s Gossip Girl style - wearing peplum skirts and heels to my classes at NYU (in 40 degree weather, mind you). I entered my mid-20s as a sneakerhead with a collection that should have probably landed me somewhere on Complex, and then also survived pandemic fashion. Now at 30, my focus is laser sharp on investing in pieces that will last a lifetime and I feel more like myself than ever. In today's episode, I talk through the most impactful style learnings from my last decade that are helping me thrive in this new one. Love the show? Follow us and leave a review! Nick is joined by film critics Erik Childress and Steve Prokopy for their regular round of movie reviews. They dig into Spike Lee's gripping new drama with Denzel Washington, Highest 2 Lowest, the high-octane sequel Nobody 2 starring Bob Odenkirk, and the wild, shoestring-budget horror oddity Jimmy and Stiggs, along with a few other fresh releases. Esmeralda Leon later stops by to take a nostalgic trip through the flashy days of LA Gear sneakers, afternoons spent watching Figure It Out on Nickelodeon, and late-night Taco Bell runs—preferably with a wisecracking chihuahua in the commercials. Just Shoot It: A Podcast about Filmmaking, Screenwriting and Directing
Director Emily Elizabeth Thomas joins Matt and Oren to talk about her journey from commercial success to directing vertical series and feature films.Meanwhile, Oren's been updating his website and shares some valuable insights on what to include in your reel, what to leave out, and why it matters. And that leads into Matt sharing some insightful data on how many views a reel gets per day.Back to Emily—she's all about making everything feel like a movie, even a vertical series. She shares how she fought for that vision and explains how shooting open gate helped convince producers they could save money doing it her way. And maybe even make more with some luck.At her core, Emily is a craft-driven filmmaker with a passion for detail. She talks about her love for set design and working with artisanal couturiers to find the perfect accessories, like a custom western hat from Austin or hours spent digging through costumes at Warner Brothers. The episode wraps with practical tips on surgically using tools like jibs, Steadicams, and Technocrane (yeah the gear producers often assume is out of budget) to maximize production value and scope on a tight budget. You can find Emily here:https://www.imdb.com/name/nm8502506/https://www.electriccowgirl.xyz/IG: @emilyelizabeththomas/---Matt's Endorsement: Letterboxd's interview with the stars of "I Like Movies" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE1kANkYGSw and the movie itself https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14913282/ Oren's Endorsement: The book "Linchpin" by Seth Godin https://seths.store/linchpin/.
