A number of years ago I coached the Executive Producer of Intervention, the reality show about addiction and Bryn Freedman confirmed that only 50% of those on the show were willing ot enter detox and rehab even though 100% of their bills were paid by the show. Then if they entered detox only 50% of them stayed through the program; so the success rate for the first 90 days was only 25% for those on Intervention in spite of all the financial and emotional support they received!
