Leader charismatique de TC Matic, il explose dans les années 80 avec « Oh La La La » et « Putain Putain ». En solo, il impose un style inclassable, mêlant rock, blues et chanson française. L'album À la française et le titre « Les Yeux de ma mère » l'ouvrent au public hexagonal. Artiste libre, européen convaincu, il collabore avec les plus grands et marque aussi le cinéma. Atteint d'un cancer, il continue de créer jusqu'à l'album Vivre. Décédé en 2022, il laisse l'image d'un poète brut, authentique, dont la voix rocailleuse résonne encore quand le soleil tombe dans la mer. Der Fotograf Arno Fischer zählt zu den wenigen seiner Zunft, die bereits zu DDR-Zeiten und davor international wahrgenommen wurden. Das gelang ihm vor allem durch seinen dokumentarischen, poetischen und nüchternen Blick durch die Kameralinse, mit dem er den Alltag der Menschen in seiner berühmten Werkreihe „Situation Berlin“ eingefangen hat. Aber auch mit seinen Modefotografien für das Magazin „Sybille“, die vielbeachtete Mode- und Kulturzeitschrift der ehemaligen DDR, hat sich Arno Fischer einen Namen gemacht. Bis Ende Juni würdigt eine sehenswerte Ausstellung auf Schloss Filseck bei Göppingen den 2011 verstorbenen Ausnahmefotografen und Mitbegründer der renommierten Berliner Fotoagentur Ostkreuz.
