My name is Tom Shaw, stand-up comedian and host of The Shaw Show Redemption Podcast. Life has the tendency to be boring if you let it, my goal is to not let it and help you with that if at all possible. In this podcast you’ll hear interviews with some tru
Before the funny it should be noted that Timmy was recently in a brutal accident at work. There was a gas leak and a literal explosion where Timmy suffered some severe burns. Timmy was only a few days out of the hospital when we recorded this episode. As a matter of fact, Timmy wanted to record while in the hospital but we waited it out. It seemed to me Timmy wanted to start to making people laughing again as soon as possible because the situation has been a total drag. We go over what took place and of course talk about complete random non sense.
Casey Watson just dethroned me as New England's Funniest comedian and as is tradition winner of this completion must go directly to Portsmouth New Hampshire and preform stand-up comedy at a library. I caught up with Casey along with Pat and Chris Neuguth before the show. In all seriousness I'm a big fan of this squad. They're funny.
Not a guy or a comic on this episode... weird. Geneva Gonazales is a producer of "Don't Tell Comedy", "Ruby Room Comedy", "Blend Comedy" as well as many other shows throughout New Hampshire.
Timmy and I talk like maniacs for 2 and 1/2 hours
Nick Hahn, Paul Borick and I are desperately trying to sell tickets to our show in Chinatown, Boston Dec 16th. Instead of crying about it we decide to try and be funny and come up with fun ways to move tix :)
Talking about literally anything with fellow comedians Timmy Elliott, New England's Funniest Comedian runner up, and Dan Michael
Talking nonsense per usual with some comics doing their thing out of Boston but all over New England
The saddest boys this side of the Piscataqua River doing what they do best.
Back at with the roommates, the bros, THE sad boys Drew and Eric.
This episode Drew and I talk about horses, ninjas, and Applebee's. We talk about other things too but mostly those things.
Finally back after another hiatus! Since the last episode a lot has changed for me the biggest of which is moving down to southern Maine. I am now living with two of my best buddies, Drew Lamoureux and Eric Modica who I have here on the podcast today. You'll be hearing more of Drew and Eric in the future. We may potentially be starting a whole new podcast together but as for now I'll just have them on here and see if you guys think it works. Let me know what you think!
In this episode I chop it up with previous winner of Maine's Funniest Comedian Henry Catlin, new comedian Andrew Hatfield and season vet Ian Stuart.
I sit down an converse with comedians Ian Stuart and Josh Marquis before we take the stage later that night.
On this episode I interview comedian Ian Stuart. Ian has a long resume of things he has done which include, but are not limited to, working with some the biggest comedians in the game and creating and staring in his web series Welcome to Maine.
After a near death experience I finally get the mics dusted off so me and a dear friend of mine Tim Stitson can get an episode recorded.
Stoked to finally have the first official female guest in Hillary Sanders, Mike Neuts is cool too. Us three are different in a lot of ways but the same in the right ways and it made for a really fun conversation.
I bring together 3 guests who have previously been on the podcast to record what seems to be an 8th grade after school detention but with the added fun of booze!!
God didn't give me a blood brother but he gave me a few people on this earth that I couldn't imagine life without, Jake is one of these people. Jake is truly one of the funniest people I've ever met and I'm so stoked to get to share more of him with the world.
In this episode I get young comedic mind Daniel Miller and his brother Nick out to talk. At only 19 years of age, is young Daniel the next big sketch comedy writer? Listen and find out what you think!
In this episode things get weird with Maine comic Mike Neuts and professional water delivery man and self proclaimed scientist Cole McDonald
The first official episode of The Shaw Show Redemption Podcast. On this episode I talk with Josh Marquis who is a stand-up comic as well as the host of the Girl Drink Podcast. I hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did recording it. Enjoy!
