Replacement Matt Hamshaw enjoyed a promising start to his interim spell in charge, though, with the Millers winning 2-0 at Northampton Town. Also, Leon plumps for a Team of the Week this time around, while Stuart focuses on the standout Player of the Week.

This week, investigative journalists — Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell — broke news that a second Jane Doe case had been filed against Myrtle Beach pastor John-Paul Miller, accusing him of sexually abusing a 14-year-old student at Cathedral Hall Academy (formerly known as Grand Strand Academy), a school owned JP's father Wayne Miller, who is named as a co-defendant in the case.  In 1999, when JP Miller was 20 years old he allegedly molested the child after inviting her to play piano with him alone in the church sanctuary. The girl told a teacher about what JP allegedly did and instead of the school offering the child help, she was forced to write “I will not lie about JP Miller” 5,000 times.  Mandy and Liz break down the latest allegations against the Millers and share text messages between JP, his ex-wife and Mica from 2022 or before that addresses the child sexual abuse allegations against JP.  Also on the show, part one of the history of the Millers' alleged scheme to use their school as a staging ground for abuse. Betrayal in the Pulpit: The Scandal Surrounding John-Paul Miller  A new lawsuit has been filed against South Carolina pastor John-Paul Miller and his father, Reginald Wayne Miller, accusing them of sexual abuse, predatory conduct, and using their church as a shield for misconduct spanning decades. The allegations have gained renewed attention following the tragic suicide of John-Paul's wife, Mica Miller, last spring. According to the lawsuit, in 1998, when Miller was 19, he allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at All Nations Church, where his father served as pastor. The complaint states that Miller lured the girl into his father's office before taking her outside to his truck, where the assault allegedly took place. The lawsuit asserts that the Millers carefully crafted an image of religious leadership while privately engaging in abusive behavior. Church leadership was allegedly aware of John-Paul's history of legal troubles, a child born out of wedlock, and a pattern of reckless conduct, yet failed to intervene. The same woman, identified as "Jane Doe," claims that in 2023, she encountered Miller again in Myrtle Beach, where he allegedly assaulted her a second time. When confronted, Miller reportedly attempted to justify his actions by referencing scripture, saying, "No man is without sin and temptation. God understands that." The lawsuit alleges that church leaders neglected their duty to protect members, despite being aware of misconduct. John-Paul Miller has been under scrutiny since his wife, Mica Miller, died by suicide on April 27, 2023. Just two days prior, she had filed for divorce. Her body was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Lumber River State Park, North Carolina. Prior to her death, Mica had reported to police that she was being tracked. Investigators later confirmed that John-Paul and a woman he was allegedly involved with were not in Robeson County at the time. Following her death, John-Paul was arrested in November for assault and battery after a confrontation with protesters outside his church, Solid Rock at Common Market. That same month, the FBI searched his Myrtle Beach home, though details of the investigation remain undisclosed. The lawsuit also raises concerns about the financial dealings of the Millers and their ministries. Miller is a comedian that exudes positivity. He has OCD and has struggled with depression which led him to ocd eating and at one point at 6'1", he was 400 lbs. Investigative journalists — Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell — broke major news this past Tuesday with the announcement that Myrtle Beach pastor JP Miller has been accused of raping a 15-year-old girl at his father's church, Cathedral Baptist Church (formerly All Nations Church), in 1998 and again sexually assaulting her in 2023.  The lawsuit was filed by Jane Doe No. 1 against John-Paul Miller, Reginald Wayne Miller, and their churches, including Solid Rock Ministries. Mandy and Liz share details of the lawsuit while connecting the dots on what was happening in JP's life at the time.  Plus, they sit for an interview with Rock Hill attorney Randy Hood of McGowan, Hood, Felder and Phillips law firm, who is representing Jane, to learn more about Jane's case and what the world of litigating institutional child sexual abuse looks like. Hood is no stranger to suing churches on behalf of sexual assault victims. For documentary fans we've got "Sly Lives (aka The Burden of Black Genius) which focuses on the life and legacy of Sly and the Family Stone, telling the story behind the rise, reign and fadeout of one of pop music's most influential artists. Home to Wheeling, the state's first capital, the panhandle's origins date back to the 1700s and a contentious boundary dispute between Virginia and Pennsylvania that helped shape the history of the U.S. According to Weirton-based historian Paul Zuros, both colonies issued land grants before the American Revolution and sent soldiers and frontiersmen to settle the same land.
