A Podcast about Life.
Something that needed to be said, by someone who hasn't been around in a while.
In this Episode I talk about the feeling of purposelessness. Why is it that in our generation we have people who seem to have a good life and Job, but are still unhappy with their situation. How do we live our lives with a purpose behind our motivations.
Dating is dying. We're the ones killing it. We have reached a point where even people of quality are tired of dating. We are starting to give up left and right, and have taken the stance of complaining about why we don't date, instead of getting out and dating better.
Happy New Year. This episode let's talk about the New Year and how we can make improvements.
This episode was inspired by a question that I received on Instagram. I listener heard the 'Give Grace' episode. What happens when giving grace to your friends isn't enough? How do we know which friends deserve Grace and which ones we should let fall from Grace ?
In this Episode I speak on the benefits of solitude. In many cases people are uncomfortable with the idea of being alone with themselves. We usually spend alone time after a negative event which causes us to associate all alone time with negative feelings. Which is why a number of people feel lonely after some days of solitude.
In this episode I talk about the problem of "instant gratification" in today's Society and how it has created a state of anxiety for most people. This anxiety usually manifests itself as a false narrative that we deserve to have anything our heart's desire, the moment that we desire it. Real world barriers sometime require us to have more discipline.
I dedicate this episode to my Mother, and I talk about the grief I felt when she passed. Hopefully this can help someone else that feels alone in their grief.
In this episode I wanted to talk about some of Kevin Samuel's content. A Podcaster who recently passed away. His content was always in the center of dating controversy, in the eyes of young adults. Why did people who disagreed with his content, hate him so much. What was his main message, and why did others admire and agree with him.
In this episode I decided to examine the supreme courts choice to overturn Roe v. Wade: My argument in this episode is that the choice of abortion is already a difficult choice and should be treated as a human rights issue, rather than some politically moral argument created by religious extremists.
In this episode I will be taking look at Men's mental health. In America the suicide rate among men is increases, this is in relation to men already accounting for 75% of the suicides in the country. I took a look at a few social factors that play a role into why men have these issues. From our social responsibilities to our intimate relationships. Disclaimer: There is a portion towards the end of this episode when I say "We believe the only way to help people out is therapy, figure something else out on your own." This statement wasn't made to deter people from finding a therapist, this was meant to explain that we need other resources in addition to therapy; and that a therapist alone isn't enough at times.
In this episode I decided to focus on helpful ways we can live in the Now. Reasons why our minds are geared towards making us live in the past or future, and how that can be problematic to healthy thinking.
In this episode I will dive into our views on dating. The dating dynamic has been a very polarizing topic in podcasts and in the media. I decided to have a sit down and put a LittleX spin on how we view dating. Trying to live by the dating standards set by society may be the reason for our terrible dating lives. I speak on some myths like "Dating to Marry" and outdated gender roles. I also give suggestions on how we can lead a healthy dating life in a time where we technically only need to date for the most basic of needs.
In this episode I want to take a look at how we think about the relationship with our friends. Do we really give our friends grace? Or are we overbearing people who think we should have full 24 hour access to our friends and that they should have no room for mistakes?
In this episode I wanted to talk about the one thing that has become the most ingrained in society, social media.
You should stick around a while, you'll enjoy the show.
