What Makes Human Life Valuable? | The Abortion Debate Goes Deeper

What makes human life valuable—and can a purely naturalistic worldview adequately explain human dignity? Jacob Vazquez of  @TruthfulHope  joins Dr. Tim Stratton and Josh Klein to discuss his new book, Sacred or Secular: The Pro-Life Case for Grounding Human Value in the Image of God. Rather than focusing only on whether the unborn is biologically human, Jacob takes the abortion debate one level deeper: What actually grounds the value of human beings in the first place? We discuss consciousness, rationality, human dignity, the challenges these realities pose for naturalism, and why Jacob argues they make far more sense if human beings are created in the Image of God. We also explore the biblical case for the value and personhood of the unborn, difficult cases surrounding abortion, and why Christianity does more than simply identify abortion as a moral problem—it provides a foundation for understanding why every human life matters. Mary breaks down the legal aspects of what Missourians will vote on in November and why it matters. But this conversation is also personal. Mary shares her own story of having an abortion when she was younger, the impact it had on her life, and how that experience now drives her work helping women and men affected by abortion share their stories and find healing. It's an important conversation about law, life, and the personal impact of abortion. Todd examines the case of gestational surrogate McKenna West, who refused an abortion after the unborn child was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. He considers the conflict among contractual obligations, bodily autonomy, parental authority, medical care, and the right to life, arguing that the child's birth exposes the moral stakes hidden by abstract abortion arguments. Todd then contrasts free-market capitalism with socialism, focusing on ownership, consent, coercion, and whether a political majority can justly claim the product of another person's labor.

Is a new global government for artificial intelligence already taking shape? On today's episode of The Sentinel Report, Alex Newman exposes the launch of the new World AI Cooperation Organization—an international body created by 29 governments, including Communist China and Russia, to coordinate global AI governance. What does this mean for freedom, privacy, national sovereignty, and the future of humanity? Then, Secretary of State Marco Rubio reveals decades of Cuban communist infiltration and subversion inside the United States, shedding new light on how Havana helped fuel radical anti-American movements on U.S. soil. We'll also examine President Trump's latest legal victory protecting America's national parks from ideological activism—and what it signals in the broader battle over America's culture and institutions. Today's guests: Iesha Schreiner, TPUSA Rise leader and author of One Nation Under God: 250th Anniversary Devotional, discusses restoring biblical values, constitutional principles, and patriotism in the next generation while reaching communities long dominated by the Left. Scott Wheeler, investigative journalist, reveals shocking new details about the firebombing of a pro-life pregnancy center in New York, the extremists behind the attack, and why much of the corporate media has ignored this major story. Richard Gage, founder and former CEO of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, reflects on the unanswered questions surrounding 9/11 nearly 25 years later, Congress' potential to ask crucial questions surrounding 9/11, and previews a major event in New York City this September. Join us as we connect the dots, expose the forces reshaping America and the world, and bring you the stories the establishment media would rather keep hidden. As always, we don't just tell you what's wrong. We share what you can do about it.

There's nothing new under the sun. In this evergreen audio essay, host John Gerardi traces a startling line from the child sacrifice of the ancient world to the abortion debate in modern California. Reading through Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles, John unpacks why the Israelites were tempted to worship pagan gods like Baal, Asherah, and Molech, and how those religions divorced worship from morality (think Julius Caesar as both high priest and war criminal) in ways that made discarding inconvenient children disturbingly ordinary, from Roman infant exposure to Spartan eugenics. Then John turns to the revolution: how Judaism and Christianity reshaped Western civilization by insisting that women, slaves, the poor, and the unborn all bear the image of God, and how the earliest Christians stood apart precisely because they refused to abandon their children. Finally, he tackles the question every pro-lifer wrestles with: if the science is settled, why is abortion more popular than ever? His answer is a challenge to rethink compassion itself, from moral imagination and the difference between empathy and sympathy, to the cold economics of Medi-Cal that pay for abortion while maternity wards like Madera Community Hospital shut their doors. Today’s Topics: 1, 2, 3, 4) Gospel – Matthew 13:10-17 – The disciples approached Jesus and said, “Why do You speak to the crowd in parables?” He said to them in reply, “Because knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven has been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted. To anyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; from anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand. Isaiah's prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says:   You shall indeed hear but not understand, you shall indeed look but never see. Gross is the heart of this people, they will hardly hear with their ears, they have closed their eyes, lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and be converted and I heal them. “But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear. Amen, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.” Memorial of Saint Bridget of Sweden, Religious Saint Bridget, pray for us! Rethinking Women's Rights: The Unconventional Pro-Life Libertarian Case: Kerry Baldwin's Debate at FreedomFest 2026

Most abortion debates fail to advance the conversation because the two sides aren't arguing on the same grounds — one side makes a moral or religious case, the other a case from women's rights; so they talk past each other. Kerry Baldwin argues that there's a better approach. In this FreedomFest debate with Michael Shermer, Baldwin makes her case. Shermer approaches abortion from a secular humanist perspective, making a moral-pragmatic case for pro-choice that centers the lived reality and full moral status of women. Baldwin, though a professing Christian, does not argue from religious or moral grounds. Instead, she argues from a natural law, libertarian legal-rights, and free-market perspective. Both are critical of the conventional pro-life argument, and both believe that reducing unwanted pregnancies through free-market solutions is the practical path forward. What they disagree on is whether a consistent defense of women's rights can stop short of recognizing fetal self-ownership. Rather than relitigating the familiar culture-war framing, this debate advances the liberty conversation by asking what libertarian principles actually require and what the net benefit is for women's rights more broadly.Be sure to bring your questions and participate in Kerry's post-debate live Q&A here: https://mereliberty.com/freedomfest-attendee-email-list/Kerry's main site: https://mereliberty.com/The Reformed Libertarians Podcast: https://libertarianchristians.com/shows/reformed-libertarians-podcast/Audio Production by Podsworth Media - https://podsworth.com Use code LCI50 for 50% off your first order at Podsworth.com to clean up your voice recordings and also support LCI!Full Podsworth Ad Read BEFORE & AFTER processing:https://youtu.be/vbsOEODpQGs  ★ Support this podcast ★

It's Thursday, July 23rd, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Vietnamese Communists have falsely charged 119 Christians Communist authorities in central Vietnam have charged 119 Christians so far this year. Officials accuse the believers of being involved in organizations that support autonomy for ethnic minority groups. Mervyn Thomas with Christian Solidarity Worldwide noted, “Vietnam is increasingly becoming one of the most repressive states when it comes to persecuting and prosecuting religious groups.” Psalm 53:4 asks, “Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God?” Scottish authorities fired pro-life teacher Pro-lifers are petitioning authorities in Scotland to protect religious liberty. A Scottish high school fired a Catholic teacher last year for saying she opposed abortion. Sarah Morse said, “To be 'cancelled' and lose my livelihood because of my religious identity is a terrifying precedent for the teaching profession in Scotland.” The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children started a petition to support Morse last week. The petition has garnered nearly 20,000 signatures already. You can sign it through a link in our transcript today at TheWorldview.com.  New British Prime Minister is a socialist Andy Burnham became Britain's new prime minister on Monday. He is the country's seventh prime minister in a decade. He is also a self-identified socialist.  During his first speech as prime minister, Burnham criticized the free-market strategies of the late Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in the 1980s. He called for a new economic model of stronger government control.  Listen. BURNHAM: “We will take power out of here and carry it into every postcode in the land, so that they can do more. And, in doing more, build a new economy where we put life's essentials back under stronger public control to make them affordable to you again.” By contrast, the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher famously said, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.” Prime Minister Thatcher also said this: THATCHER: “Socialists don't like people to do things for themselves. Socialists like to get people dependent on the state. You'll never build a great society that way. We were the first country to attempt and to succeed in rolling back the frontiers of socialism, which is the first cousin to communism.” Psalm 146:3 says, “Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.” Trump; Cuba is capital of 21st century Communism Here in the United States, the Trump administration categorized Cuba as the capital of 21st century communism. A report from the Department of State noted, “Many of the most significant upheavals in recent American political history – from the George Floyd riots to the rise of Antifa to the explosion of pro-terrorist activism on American college campuses – can be linked, in some way, shape, or form, to Cuban influence.”  Listen to comments from Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the issue. RUBIO: “I can tell you, our system doesn't want communism. We're certainly not going to allow communist efforts to undermine American society and drive wedges into our country. “One of the leading culprits of that, for many years, the intellectual authors, particularly in our hemisphere, is the Cuban regime, which our report on Monday outlined. U.S. imposed 25% tariff on Brazilian imports The U.S. imposed a 25 percent tariff on most imports from Brazil yesterday.  The Trump administration accused Brazil of unfair trade practices and failing to negotiate. The tariff will affect about 18 to 26 percent of the country's exports to the U.S. Brazilian President Lula da Silva is a left-wing leader. Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote on X, “President Lula and his government have not negotiated with the U.S. in good faith. His economic policies are bad for Americans and bad for Brazilians.” No more U.S. aid to Nigeria over persecution of Christians The U.S. House of Representatives passed a measure last week to withhold aid from Nigeria over the persecution of Christians there.  The provision is part of the “Fiscal Year 2027 National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act.” The measure now awaits approval in the Senate.  Republican Congressman Greg Steube of Florida wrote on X, “My amendment to withhold 100% of U.S. aid to Nigeria until its government stops the slaughter of Christians has PASSED. American taxpayers should NEVER bankroll governments that turn a blind eye while Christians are abducted, tortured, and murdered. No more wasteful foreign aid!” Nigeria has become the epicenter of Christian martyrdom in the world. In the initial 96 days of 2026, from January 1 to April 6, Muslims killed 1,402 Nigerian Christians. Shockingly, that represents 72% of Christians killed worldwide.  In 2025, 3,490 Nigerian Christians were martyred.  A total of 52,000 brothers and sisters in Christ have lost their lives in the last decade in Nigeria.  Worldview listeners from Thailand and North Dakota weigh in MariaLee Watson in Bangkok, Thailand wrote me and said, “Adam, we are a homeschooling family of four kids – Eliana, 11, Elijah, 9, Elisabeth, 7, and Evalee, 6. We listen to your newscast almost every day. “We are missionaries here in Bangkok and we enjoy hearing about world news and what's happening in the USA. We especially enjoy the encouraging Bible verses that represent God's views. And Adam, we love to say, along with you, ‘Seize the day for Jesus Christ!'” And Amanda Wheeler in Grand Forks, North Dakota wrote me and said, “Adam, I have been reading The Worldview emails and my son, an 8th grader, has been listening to the newscast audio for a few months. “In fact, he began the Generations history curriculum this past year for our homeschool curriculum. We have greatly appreciated having a Christian-focused news report. Beforehand, we had avoided the news, in large part. Thank you for all that you do.” 7 Worldview listeners gave $1,517 And finally, by Wednesday night at 8:45pm Central, 7 Worldview listeners stepped up to the plate and invested their treasure to fund the six-member team behind The Worldview for another year. Our thanks to Lisa in Beacon, New York who gave $50 and Luke in West Line, Missouri who told me he will continue his $25/month pledge for another year for a gift of $300. Now, if you heard Wednesday's newscast, you learned that the four McVeda kids in Great Falls, Montana – 10-year-old Anna, 8-year-old Eppie, 7-year-old Claire, and 5-year-old Caleb -– organized several fundraisers on their farm and raised $347 for The Worldview newscast. I was incredibly touched by their investment of time and resources. Yesterday, through tears, I asked if you would consider being one of 108 Worldview listeners to pledge a one-time gift of $347 to honor the sweat equity the McVeda kids have invested to ensure that this newscast is fully funded and we hit our Friday, Jully 24th goal Out of the tens of thousands of our listeners, only four people caught that vision. We're grateful to God for Frances in Beacon, New York who gave $347, Theresa in Port Orchard, Washington who gave $347, Aleksandr in Ozark, Missouri who gave $347, and Stephen in California, Maryland who gave $347. Those 7 gifts add up to $1,738. Ready for our new grand total? Drum roll please. (drum roll sound effect) $45,493 (sound effect of people cheering) That means, in just two days, we need to raise $35,733 to hit our $81,226 goal by tomorrow night, Friday, July 24th! The Worldview needs 103 people to give $347 or pledge $28.92/month Two things come to mind about why only 4 people caught the vision on Wednesday.  First, there are folks who could easily invest $347 right now and may not have heard or read the Wednesday newscast. If that's the case, I need your help. And second, I realize that, for others, your budget simply will not allow a one-time gift of $347 right now.  But you could pledge $28.92 per month for 12 months to make that $347 gift. I need to find 103 people to do one or the other. A one-time gift of $347 or a monthly pledge of $28.92. When I come back to these airwaves with Friday's newscast, I sure hope that many more than just 4 people will have caught this kid-inspired vision from Great Falls, Montana to give $347 to help fund this newscast.  I wonder if we could get even get half way there with 52 folks either making a one-time gift of $347 or a monthly pledge of $28.92.  Time is running out. July 31st will be here before you know it. Just go to TheWorldview.com, click on Give, select the dollar amount, and make sure to click on the “recurring” button if that's your wish.  And remember, if you want to continue your monthly pledge to The Worldview that you started in a previous year, like Luke in Missouri, please let me know so we can count your generous ongoing gift toward our total. Let's see what the Lord will do today. Go to TheWorldview.com and click on Give. Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, July 23rd, in the year of our Lord 2026. The overall arc tonight is President Trump stepping to the mic in prime time with Democrats already feeling the squeeze—back in office, systematically taking them apart policy by policy, and now standing there like a guy who's lifted the hem on their whole operation and seen the pretenders underneath. No more hiding behind the same old scripts. This segment focuses on the pre-speech scramble: the media and Democratic apparatus spinning like tops before a single word drops, the anticipation of what “receipts” he might actually deliver, and why the very fact they're this rattled tells you the game has changed.Democrats are rightfully scared of what President Trump is going to say on Thursday. They've bet the ranch on the 2020 election lies and the January 6 bullsh*t holding forever. Now the guy they swore was finished is in the Oval Office again, dismantling their narrative machine piece by piece. The White House has signaled the speech centers on election security—voting machines, foreign interference angles from his first term, the whole apparatus that decides who actually wins. Reuters and the usual suspects are already framing it as recycled “complaints” and “false claims,” complete with the ritual “courts found no large-scale fraud” line. That's the spin cycle on full blast before he even clears his throat.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

It's Thursday, July 16th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus U.S. to Iran: Stop persecuting Christians The United States is calling for Iran to end its persecution of Christians. According to Open Doors, it's the tenth worst country in the world. In one case, authorities in the country sentenced a Christian convert to nearly 10 years in prison back in May. Forty-two-year-old Ghazal Marzban is now on a hunger strike. A State Department spokesman told Fox News Digital, “We are aware of these reports. It is reprehensible that the Iranian regime continues to persecute religious minorities, including Iranian Christians.”  Dr. Hormoz Shariat with Iran Alive Ministries told Fox News that Christians in Iran are courageous in the face of persecution. Listen. SHARIAT: “Believers in Iran are full of [the] Holy Spirit. They are courageous. They're out there. Many of them are living, and some of them are dying for Jesus. I see such a courage among the Iranian Muslim background believers.” Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame [the Devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”  America restarted naval blockade against Iranian ports On Tuesday, the United States restarted its naval blockade against Iranian ports. This comes after the Islamic Republic continued to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Yesterday, the U.S. military carried out more strikes on Iran. President Donald Trump threatened strikes on Iran's infrastructure next week unless the country reopens negotiations.  Pro-life British Member of Parliament was killed A pro-life British politician was found dead at her home on July 9th. Seventy-eight-year-old Ann Widdecombe had served as a conservative member of Parliament from 1987 to 2010. The Catholic politician was an outspoken opponent of abortion. Counter-terrorism police report that she was clearly the victim of a targeted attack and are still investigating a motive. Supreme Court Justices ask for additional security Here in America, U.S. Supreme Court Justices testified before Congress about threats to their lives. The Supreme Court is requesting nearly $15 million in additional funds from Congress for the personal security of the justices. Justice Amy Coney Barrett talked about one incident when she was the victim of an erroneous call to her residence. BARRETT: “Roughly six weeks ago, I was the victim of a swatting incident. At that point, my teenage son, one of my teenage sons, opened the door to go out with friends and saw in our street it was full of police cars who had responded to a false report of gunshots and raised voices in my home. “I was very, very grateful that I had Supreme Court Police outside my home because they were able to stop and meet with, and explain to the county police, that it had been a false alarm. And so, the police did not actually attempt to enter our home.” Conservative justices faced intense threats surrounding the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2022. For example, Justice Amy Coney Barrett had to be sent home with a bullet proof vest when threats were high. In Proverbs 8:35-36, Wisdom says, “For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the LORD; but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.” Christian student required to attend a perversion assembly A Christian middle schooler in Washington State is suing her school district for violating her faith. Highline Public School District in Burien, Washington held a mandatory so-called “Inclusion Assembly” back in May. The event covered topics that conflicted with the girl's Christian faith. So, she asked to be excused, but the school forced her to participate.  The American Center for Law and Justice filed a lawsuit against the school last week on behalf of the Christian student. The ACLJ stated, “Our client is a little girl who has done nothing but live out her faith with kindness and respect for others.” Only 33% of Americans trust churches, down from 60% in 2001 A new Gallup survey found that Americans don't trust institutions in the United States. Only 27% of U.S. adults expressed confidence in major institutions. That's down from 43% in 2001. A paleontologist discovered the skeleton on a ranch in South Dakota in 2021. Known as “Gus”, it's one of the largest and most complete dinosaurs ever discovered.  Paleontologists claim that Gus lived about 67 million years ago. However, scientists discovered a T. Rex fossil in 2005 that contained unfossilized soft tissue.  Answers in Genesis noted, “Soft tissue is not compatible with an old Earth, and yes, it is indeed a powerful confirmation of the Biblical timeline.”  Worldview listeners from Manitoba, Indiana and Kentucky weigh in Azalia Marten in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada wrote me and said, “I want to thank The Worldview team for writing the newscast every weekday.  I greatly appreciate your views. Thank you for putting your lives into this!” John Martini in Moores Hill, Indiana wrote me and said, “I appreciate three things about your news program: First, important topics are covered. Second, the reporting is concise and includes primary sources. And third, there is a direct Biblical connection made in many of the news stories. We often pray about the topics presented.” And Megan Severe in Elizabeth Town, Kentucky, said, “I am a history teacher and it's very important to me to teach my students to be aware of current events in the world. What happens today is going to shape our history. I was delighted to find your podcast and have been listening to it every morning as I get ready for work over the past year. “The podcast helps prepare me to know what important world events I should tie into my lesson. I even played it for my classes to listen to so they could hear the news from a Christian perspective. I love how you tie in Bible verses. Thanks for what you do!” 13 Worldview listeners gave $2,817 And finally, by 9:00pm Central on Wednesday night, 13 Worldview listeners had stepped up to the plate and invested their treasure to fund the six-member team behind The Worldview for another year Our thanks to Marcia in Cairo, New York who gave $25, Augustine in Auburn, California who gave $30 as well as Tim in Newton, Kansas and Kevin and Lisa in Scottdale, Pennsylvania – both of whom gave $100. We were touched by the generosity of Chuck in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada and Josh in Davenport, Iowa – both of whom gave $150, as well as Leticia in Blum, Texas who pledged $15/month for 12 months for a gift of $180, and Gena in Huntsville, Alabama who gave $182. Those 13 gifts add up to $2,817. Ready for our new grand total? Drum roll please. (drum roll sound effect) $26,620 (sound effect of people cheering) That means we need to raise $29,945 to hit our $56,565 goal in just two days by this Friday, July 17th.   Remember, if you want to continue your monthly pledge to The Worldview that you started in a previous year, please let me know so we can count your generous ongoing gift toward our total -- like Richard and Dennis did. We need to find 8 Worldview listeners, who will pledge $100/month for 12 months, or give a one-time gift of $1,200, 16 folks who will pledge $50/month or give a one-time gift of $600 and 32 listeners who will pledge $25/month or give a one-time gift of $300. Go to TheWorldview.com, click on Give, select the dollar amount, and make sure to click on the “recurring” button if that's your wish. To be honest, the race to the finish line of funding the six-member Worldview team for another year is almost half way over and we are significantly behind! Can you help? [X] SB – MSNOW Nicole Wallace on not covering Trump…[X] SB – Jim Acosta gives a responseComing out of covid.Meaner and nastier? Less sensitive. Fights on the planes. Pent up aggression and hostilityThe media keeps trying to convince America that Iran is somehow winning.Really?Iran could launch a paper airplane painted camouflage green...CNN would interrupt programming."Military analysts are concerned..."MSNBC would bring on eight professors to explain the symbolic significance of folded notebook paper. The New York Times headline would read..."Experts Warn Origami May Shift Regional Balance of Power."Meanwhile the paper airplane lands in a goat pasture. The goat isn't impressed. The media still gives Iran style points. And have you noticed something else?Where are all the anti-war Democrats?Where are the celebrities?Where's Hollywood recording another version of "Give Peace a Chance" while standing safely behind armed security?Remember the first time Trump hit Iran? You would've thought he'd personally challenged every yoga instructor in Santa Monica to a cage match. The Left screamed..."World War III!""He's reckless!""He's unstable!""This is the end of diplomacy!"Now?Trump has launched repeated strikes after exhausting diplomatic options......and suddenly the outrage meter is broken.Interesting.It's almost like context matters.Trump didn't begin with bombs. He began with diplomacy.Again.And again. And again.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Welcome, folks! We have a packed show today, because apparently the world decided to produce enough material in the last 24 hours to keep comedians employed for another decade. And for us, it's almost all good news. And while the “war” wages on with Iran, I say to you, “Don't panic”. Our president has things in check.More on that in a bit…But let's begin with Kamala Harris. I honestly believe her to be worse than Biden on saying stupid stuff.Let's begin with the Lesbian Basketball League, aka the WNBA.Kamala Harris recently praised the league for its "commitment to excellence."Really?Because I watched one of the league's recent highlights, and it looked less like basketball and more like a deleted scene from Fight Club: The Layup Edition.Apparently excellence now includes trying to choke out your biggest star. And who was the target? Caitlin Clark.Imagine if a group of white girls targeted a black girl and gave her beatdowns on the regular? CNN would already have a six-part documentary. MSNBC would have candlelight vigils. We'd have congressional hearings before halftime.Didn't we get enough of these movies where a race had to overcome adversity? Will Hollyweird pull a classic move and cast Caitlin Clark as Harriet Tubman?Instead?Crickets. The media suddenly developed the observational skills of a goldfish. So apparently we've reached a new definition of excellence. Sell tickets with a superstar...then let everybody mug her because she's too successful.Imagine the NBA treating Michael Jordan that way."Michael's too popular. Let's let Bill Laimbeer choke him for ratings."That's not excellence. That's envy with a scoreboard. And the WNBA won't be “excellent” until they allow transexuals in. “Why do we lose people raised pro-life to the pro-choice side?” This question opens a discussion on the complexities of belief and autonomy in the abortion debate. Other topics include the argument that bodily autonomy supersedes the right to life and the moral implications of abortion in cases of rape or incest. Join the Catholic Answers Live Club Newsletter Invite our apologists to speak at your parish! Visit Catholicanswersspeakers.com Questions Covered: 03:25 – Why do we lose people raised pro-life to the prochoice side? 11:10 – I think that bodily autonomy supersedes the right to life. 17:38 – I am pro-choice because we should be able to allow women to abort in the case of rape or incest. 29:15 – Obviously you think abortion is murder. Do you think women who have had abortions should be charged with the same crimes as murderers? 44:25 – This issue is what drove me away from the Catholic faith. Until the zygote is viable as a human being, it is not a human being.
