Have you listened to the FULL EPISODE yet?"Most of us in the West today will have two or three marriages or adult relationships in our lifetime. Some of us will do it with the same person... we know that we are not the only one and yet the whole romantic ideal is about the soulmate and the one and only." - Esther PerelRenowned relationship expert Esther Perel delves deep into society's evolving views on monogamy, challenging traditional notions that no longer align with modern reality. She explores how the concept has shifted from "one person for life" to "one person at a time," addressing the complex emotions that arise when partners navigate their respective sexual histories. Through her lens of cultural analysis, Perel illuminates how our individualistic society struggles with the idea of being "replaceable" in intimate relationships. The conversation takes a profound turn as Perel examines why some partners struggle hearing about their lover's sexual past, revealing how it threatens our deep-seated desire to feel unique and irreplaceable. She points out the fascinating paradox in modern relationships: while we know intellectually that we may not be someone's first or last love, we still cling to the romantic ideal of being "the one." Her insights challenge listeners to examine their own beliefs about love, desire, and the complex nature of modern relationships.Sign up for the Greatness newsletter!

On this episode of the Love Sex and Leadership podcast, I sit down with my friend Nisarga to explore the concept of "felt sense," which refers to a physical experience of being that transcends mental understanding. Nisarga, a seasoned body-oriented therapist, emphasizes the importance of reconnecting with our body, emotions, and sensations, especially after traumatic experiences that often lead to disconnection. We discuss how society tends to prioritize cognitive engagement over somatic awareness, and Nisarga shares insights into how somatic therapy, including breath work and body work, can help individuals reclaim a sense of safety and ease in their bodies. This journey involves navigating through pain to rediscover joy and pleasure in physicality, cultivating a functional adult identity to reassess triggers and heal childhood defense mechanisms. Nisarga also shares his personal journey from engineering to bodywork therapy, driven by a desire to support others, and we touch on the impact of technology and societal changes on our relationship with physical touch, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.Touch is highlighted as a fundamental aspect of healing and human connection, with studies and experiences underscoring the role of genuine connection and emotional expression in regulating the nervous system and overall health. Nisarga shares professional insights on dealing with sexual trauma, emphasizing the importance of compassion and understanding in creating a safe and accepting environment for somatic healing. We discuss how practitioners can hold space for individuals dealing with trauma, focusing on creating environments of trust where individuals feel empowered to explore and heal at their own pace. As we delve into the interplay between sexuality, leadership, and intuitive wisdom, we share a belief in living purpose-driven lives and how personal and professional fulfillment impact one's ability to lead with compassion and authenticity. Nisarga discusses integral approaches in his work, focusing on embodiment as a channel to tap into inherent wisdom through breath, movement, and mindful touch, inviting listeners to explore further through his work and the offerings of the Integral Body Institute.

In this engaging episode of Love Sex and Leadership, I explore the journey of self-discovery and the importance of embracing our primal, intuitive selves to foster empowered and harmonious relationships. We delve into the significance of being present with our bodily sensations, whether challenging or pleasurable, and the dangers of avoiding these experiences through distractions like technology or substances. By doing so, we risk self-abandonment, which can negatively impact our physical and emotional well-being. I discuss how these avoidance patterns often stem from childhood, where we were not allowed to fully express ourselves, and emphasize the necessity of re-parenting our inner child by providing the unconditional love and safety we may have lacked. Through mindful presence and staying with uncomfortable sensations, we can release stored tension and emotions from our nervous system, leading to healing and transformation. I introduce the concept of ‘pattern interrupting'—pausing and taking a deep breath when tension arises to allow for awareness and presence. This practice helps us embrace our feelings, much like children and animals naturally do, releasing pent-up energy and achieving a state of peace within the body. By sitting with our emotions, we open the door to healing past traumas and patterns, ultimately rewiring our nervous system and redefining our relationship with concepts like money, sex, and power. I stress that addressing underlying emotional blocks is crucial, as repeating affirmations alone can be ineffective if unresolved energies remain within us. The episode highlights the importance of being both witness and caregiver to our experiences, approaching ourselves with compassion and validation. True healing and transformation require embodying these changes physically and emotionally, allowing us to return to our authentic selves and experience life fully. Through this inner work, we can embrace our full power, resulting in more love, joy, and purpose in our lives and relationships.See more about Aaron at www.Aaronkleinerman.comsee more about Tara at www.embodiedawakeningacademy.com

On this episode of the Love Sex and Leadership podcast, I sit down with Lindsay, the founder of Alive and Awake, to explore the realms of conscious leadership and personal evolution. Our conversation is rooted in our shared journey and personal growth, as Lindsay discusses her mission to help individuals activate their highest potential through transformation. She employs a blend of coaching, leadership strategies, yoga, and ancient wisdom to guide this process. We delve into how life experiences can serve as a modality for growing into one's best self, with Lindsay emphasizing the concept of edge play—meeting discomfort head-on to spur growth and transformation. She candidly shares her personal shadows and highlights relationships as powerful grounds for self-discovery, noting that divorce and separation offer profound opportunities for inner work and learning. Lindsay underscores the importance of addressing interpersonal dynamics as they provide chances for healing and evolution, and we discuss the necessity of turning inward to understand personal triggers in relationships. Our dialogue extends into the integration of lessons from the bedroom into leadership, with Lindsay acknowledging that authentic leadership requires vulnerability akin to intimate relationships. She explains that the principles of love and authenticity transcend into the boardroom. We explore the intricate dance between masculine and feminine energies, emphasizing that the future of leadership requires a balance between these forces in both personal and professional realms. Together, we examine the role of light and dark aspects of the self, proposing that they be viewed as energies rather than binaries, and stress the importance of having a relationship with both for holistic growth. Lindsay shares her optimism about the current global transformation towards more integrated and conscious leadership, viewing the present turbulence as an opportunity for positive change. With a strategic and spiritual mindset, she describes humanity's journey towards an integrated state marked by empathy, authenticity, and leadership driven by holistic principles. Through personal insights, shared wisdom, and experiential anecdotes, we offer a rich dialogue encouraging listeners to embrace their journey with curiosity, courage, and compassion.

Are you struggling to unlock your full potential and achieve the success you desire? Dr. David Snyder delves into the profound concepts of soul retrieval, enlightenment, and the ongoing process of personal evolution. He emphasizes the importance of addressing the fragmented parts of ourselves, the "ego deaths" we experience, and the need to interpret communications with empathy and understanding. Discover how to master state control through physiological methods and unlock the hidden wisdom of reincarnation and genetic memory. Are you ready to reprogram your subconscious mind and unlock your true potential? Standout Quotes: • “It doesn't matter what your intentions are when you communicate something. Ultimately, you have control over your intentions and how you say things, but you don't have control over how people choose to interpret what you say and do.” – Dr. David Snyder • “If you change your posture, change your breathing, and maintain the energy needed to hold that physiology, your state must change, or at the very least, it won't continue deteriorating into a less resourceful state.” – Dr. David Snyder • “The talents and attributes and qualities that we have access to are largely going to be based on what our golden path is in this reality.” – Dr. David Snyder • “Sexual energy is one of the most powerful forces in our body. I can use it to manifest things, build a charge in my body, and circulate it through all of my energetic meridians and pathways. This can facilitate greater spiritual evolution and enhance my ability to access magical abilities.'” – Dr. David Snyder • “Human beings inevitably create technology that mirrors what they do with their neurology, which, in turn, reflects what you do with your spiritual and energetic psychology. It's all the same: as above, so below.'” – Dr. David Snyder Key Takeaways: • Identify and address the fragmented parts of your soul - the "ego deaths" you've experienced - to facilitate ongoing personal and spiritual growth. • Cultivate the ability to interpret communications with empathy and understanding, recognizing that you cannot control how others will interpret your words and actions. • Explore the mystical teachings behind astrology, such as Kabbalistic and Chinese astrology, to gain deeper insights into your own potential and purpose. • Experiment with physiological state control techniques like posture, breathing, and neurofeedback to interrupt negative states and access more resourceful mindsets. Are you struggling to achieve your dreams and unlock your full potential? Do you find yourself constantly procrastinating or feeling stuck, unable to take the necessary actions to transform your life? The answers you seek may lie in mastering the art of state control and tapping into the power of your subconscious mind. Dr. David Snyder delves into the psychological secrets and practical techniques that can help you overcome the obstacles standing in your way. From understanding the transformational triad of color, breathing, and energy, to leveraging powerful influence strategies like the three magic questions, Dr. David shares a wealth of knowledge to guide you on your journey of personal growth and manifestation. Standout Quotes: • “You can be, do, or have anything you want in this life, but first, you have to become the person to whom that can happen.” – Dr. David Snyder • “Everything human beings do is in response to feeling. But everything we do also involves some form of alteration to our current state of consciousness.” – Dr. David Snyder • “Fragmentation of consciousness is really only useful when you want to create chaos in someone's mind, leading to confusion, which in turn creates a state of hyper-suggestibility.” – Dr. David Snyder • “You can be the nicest person in the world, but if nobody sees you or notices your actions, you're not visible, and they're going to forget about you.'” – Dr. David Snyder • “Each time you come into a life, you have a different set of lessons. The idea that you can be enlightened in one life and not in another isn't accurate.'” – Dr. David Snyder Key Takeaways: • Identify the person you need to become in order to achieve your desired outcomes and start taking steps to develop those necessary traits and characteristics. • Experiment with techniques like magic frame, spinning, and color breathing to help dissolve limiting beliefs and amplify the qualities that will allow you to manifest your goals. • Practice maximizing your absorption and focus when attempting to access flow states, rather than evaluating or judging the experience. • Surround yourself with people you're attracted to, but focus first on building genuine friendships and rapport, rather than romantic pursuits. This can help you become more comfortable in those social settings. • Utilize the emotional motivation checklist to deeply understand the core drivers behind your own actions, as well as those of the people you interact with. Welcome to the Love Sex and Leadership podcast, where we delve into simple tantric teachings to help you embody your true power, awaken your soul's wisdom, and live an inspired life as an intuitive, heart-centered leader. In today's episode, we explore the concept of pushing personal boundaries and re-equilibrating the body into natural alignment. We discuss how each person creates their reality through their thoughts, perceptions, and beliefs, touching upon stories from childhood, business, marriage, and life in general. We aim to get to know the polarities within ourselves more extensively and open up to new perspectives and experiences. The episode includes insights into recognizing and embracing curiosity, especially in our interactions with others. A story is shared about a successful businessman learning to meet his daughters with fresh eyes, emphasizing empathy and the importance of seeing others' perspectives. The discussion then shifts to the tender feminine energy within us, often suppressed and needing acknowledgment. It's likened to the dynamic tension in horror movies where the little girl holds mysterious and unseen power. We explore societal norms that often ridicule or ignore this feminine energy in men, leading to a lifetime of unexpressed emotions. I share a personal anecdote about my brother and his daughter's innocent, yet profound comment about killing fairies, which serves as a reminder of the mystical awareness children possess. This story illustrates the theme of maintaining curiosity and connection to deeper realms as we grow older and more self-conscious. We explore the concepts of feminine and masculine polarity, detailing both their light and dark aspects. The light masculine is described as the conscious observer, while the dark masculine represents penetrative power, often misunderstood in society. This power is about destroying anything not rooted in love, rather than exerting control over others. The podcast also addresses the unhealthy representation of dark masculine energy and the need to embrace it healthily. Similarly, the light feminine is depicted as nurturing and selfless, while the dark feminine embodies chaotic and transformative power. Recognizing these polarities within ourselves allows for inner union, leading to deeper and more meaningful connections with others. Emphasis is placed on integrating these polarities to step into the world as an embodied individual, capable of making a real difference. The ultimate goal is to live fully and authentically, free from societal constraints and personal limitations.

Today's show has Jenn and Eddie reading and answering some viewer questions. What kind of paper is the best to use and can you judge a person by it? Eddie and Jenn knew what they wanted to do since they were little and I guess they're kind of doing it now.  Does size matter? Also, have uncomfortable talks with your kids, it's better than avoiding it by banning books.  Plus Florida Man Friday!

Writer and filmmaker Miranda July says the popular imagination sort of drops off once a woman gets married and has kids. Her new novel All Fours turns that on its head – it's a story about an artist in her 40s who departs from her husband and child on a road trip that takes her to some very unexpected places. In today's episode, July speaks to NPR's Brittany Luse about the interviews she conducted with women going through perimenopause and menopause for this book, and the whisper network with her friends that fueled her protagonist's deep desire for something new. How our false expectations and misunderstandings about relationships can create an incalculable amount of suffering — and the many problems of the "You complete me" model.Description: This episode was part one of our four-part series where we're counter-programming against the way Valentine's Day is often celebrated, and examining different kinds of relationships including romantic, friendship, and family.
