To break the spirit of mammon, gratitude and obedient faith giving to God will break that spirit, and open up the blessing that He has for us. A lack of gratitude or displaying entitlement is a signal that you have been seduced by the spirit of mammon...

It is impossible to serve two masters at the same time. If you prioritize 'things' over God, those things are your master. When your money, your house, or your clothing drive you to do things that are not righteous and not Godly, you are battling the spirit of mammon. Listen as we learn that to break the spirit of mammon, gratitude and obedient faith — giving to God — will break that spirit and open the blessings that all of us want.

It's important to understand, that where we place our focus, we place our priority. We can give focus to material things — houses, cars, money — or we can make God the priority of our lives. These material things are mammon, a spirit leading you depend on 'things', instead of God. Listen as Bishop David G.
