EP. 237 - Grab my FREE GUIDE: Assess Your Metabolic Health Today I'm covering one of my favorite topics: high blood pressure. I've yet to meet a case I couldn't help significantly course correct with lifestyle changes and a solid, integrative approach to care. This truly is not a drug deficiency problem. High blood pressure is a lifestyle issue, plain and simple, and a brand-new study from October 2025 drives that point home beautifully. In this episode, I'm breaking down that research, which looked at millions of people and found that almost every case of heart disease, stroke, or heart failure had at least one non-optimal risk factor in play. We'll talk about what those risk factors are, what they mean for you, and most importantly, what you can do about them. Topics Discussed: → What are the main causes of high blood pressure? → Can you lower blood pressure naturally without medication? → How does lifestyle affect cardiovascular health? → What are non-optimal risk factors for heart disease? → What is the naturopathic approach to hypertension? Ever feel like you're losing yourself in midlife? In this powerful episode, I'm sitting down with expert Ashley Turner to explore the deeper meaning behind midlife hormonal changes in perimenopause and menopause. Ashley helps you discover how perimenopause can be a profound reckoning, discussing how this stage of life invites us to shift from ego-driven goals toward greater purpose and compassion for others… and more importantly, for yourself. Ashley beautifully reframes midlife as not an ending, but a spiritual awakening — a chance to realign with who we are and what we value. We also dive into how embracing this change can spark healing, empowerment, and advocacy for ourselves and others. Tune in for an inspiring conversation that will leave you ready to step into your next chapter with grace and intention. Ashley Turner Ashley Turner is a Licensed Psychotherapist, Psychedelic Therapist, renowned yoga–meditation teacher, writer, facilitator, speaker, and 7-figure entrepreneur. Her mission is to serve women – especially those in midlife and menopause. She helps visionary leaders tap into their confidence and amplify their wisdom, vision, and voice by embodying their full feminine power. Her own personal midlife struggles led her to found her Metamorphosis: Midlife & Menopause Mentorship and The Haven Membership. Ashley has been featured in media outlets such as The Washington Post, Shape, Self, Women's Health, Yoga Journal, Health, MindBodyGreen, Well+Good, Sounds True, and many more. IN THIS EPISODE Recognizing the symptoms of perimenopause Ashley's work supporting women mentally and emotionally How hormones can help some but not ALL symptoms Why being intentional about your choices matters more in midlife Lifestyle habits for optimal physical and mental health How we can shift the culture around perimenopause awareness How to cultivate your sense of community in midlife How Perimenoapuse can be one of your greatest teachers QUOTES “Once I got on the hormones, that was extremely helpful and it totally saved my life, and I love them… [but] it didn't solve all my problems. There's still a huge developmental phase that we're going through as women. People going through menopause, huge transitions in our sense of self, our ambition, our drive, who we are, our identity, of course sexuality, and that's a lot to manage on top of everything else that's happening in life.” “For a lot of women, it's taking 4 to 6 appointments for doctors to connect the dots between what they're going through and it being perimenopause and menopause. And what that does is it delays care, it delays treatment, and it delays a woman's quality of life.” “I think telling the stories and sharing really authentically and vulnerably and transparently is such an important piece of this because we heal together. We are changing culture. We are weaving a new sisterhood, a new ethos. We also have to educate our partners, our children, our work environments, and really shape shift the culture.” RESOURCES MENTIONED Order my new book The Perimenopause Revolution https://drmariza.com/book Use code ENERGIZED and get 20% off on your Timeline order http://timeline.com/ENERGIZED Ashley Turner The Haven Community Metamorphosis: Master Menopause and Midlife Ashley Turner on Instagram RELATED EPISODES 690: The Perimenopause Revolution: Why midlife isn't the end — it's the beginning of your most energized, powerful, and vibrant self 689: The Hidden Brain Shift: Why Perimenopause Symptoms Start Earlier Than You Think 685: End Emotional Outsourcing: Break Free from Codependency, Perfectionism & People-Pleasing with Beatriz Albina #629: Unlocking Emotional Resilience with Awareness, Lifestyle and Tools to Regulate Your Stress Triggers with Dr. Drew Ramsey

Alzheimer's disease is something many of us have seen affect our parents or grandparents, and it can feel like one of the most daunting challenges of ageing. But what if the narrative we've been told isn't the whole truth? What if prevention – and even reversal – is possible? Today, I'm delighted to welcome Dr Dale Bredesen to my Feel Better, Live More podcast, a conversation I've been looking forward to for many years. An internationally recognised expert in the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, Dale's career has been guided by a simple idea: that Alzheimer's as we know it is not just preventable, but reversible. His dedicated pursuit of the science that makes this a reality has placed him at the vanguard of neurological research and led to the discoveries that today underlie the ReCODE Protocol™. As well as multiple scientific publications, Dale has written about his findings and research in his first book: ‘The End of Alzheimer's', and his very latest book The Ageless Brain is a fantastic read about the simple things we can all do to improve the health of our brains today and across the duration of our lives. In this powerful conversation, we discuss: Why Alzheimer's is not one single disease, but the end result of multiple systems in the body becoming imbalanced. The four stages of cognitive decline, and why identifying problems early can be a game-changer for prevention and treatment. The role of genetics, including ApoE4, in dementia risk, and why knowing your genetic status can empower you to take action. How inflammation, toxins and energy deficits all contribute to brain decline – and what we can do to address them. Real-life case studies of people who have improved, even those in the early stages of dementia. The seven key lifestyle factors that can protect and optimise brain health at any age, from diet and exercise to sleep, stress and detoxification. Dale also shares his vision of a future where cognitive decline is no longer seen as an inevitable part of ageing, but as something we can act on early – much like we already do with heart disease or cancer - and this opens the door to simple, everyday steps we can all take to protect our brains. If you've witnessed Alzheimer's in your family, it's easy to feel powerless. But as Dale explains, there is much we can do to reduce our risk, support brain health and hold onto the connections and memories that matter most. I hope you enjoy listening. Just wrapped my second year chairing the EO Deal Exchange Conference, and the lessons were off the charts. Here's what happens when you put hundreds of entrepreneurs in a room focused on one thing: growing through deals. Three insights that stood out: The wisdom is already in the room. We ran deal speed networking sessions where members shared their specific needs (buying companies, seeking JV partners, raising capital). The collective knowledge and connections in that room solved problems in minutes that could take months to crack alone. Stop looking outside your network for every answer. Exit satisfaction is shockingly low. Dave Hirsch shared that only about 13% of entrepreneurs who successfully exit are actually happy afterward. His "Inner Board Meeting" concept helps you identify all the different voices and aspects of your personality that need to be satisfied by any deal you pursue. Powerful framework for avoiding founder depression. Lifestyle business isn't an insult. Silicon Valley prodigy Fallon Fatemi, who co-founded an AI company with Mark Cuban, shared that she'll never raise capital again. Not because capital is bad, but because her priorities have shifted. Build the business and life YOU want, not what others expect.• • •FOR MORE ON THIS EPISODE:https://www.coreykupfer.com/blog/kraftheinz• • •FOR MORE ON COREY KUPFER:https://www.linkedin.com/in/coreykupfer/http://coreykupfer.com/ Corey Kupfer is an expert strategist, negotiator, and dealmaker. #180 - New Mitochondria Research: The Untold Anti-Aging Hack You Need to Know You've heard of mitochondria — the “powerhouses of the cell,” right? But here's what most people don't know: those tiny energy factories are also the secret behind how your skin ages. In this episode, we're taking a deep dive beneath the surface (literally) to uncover how your skin's mitochondria control everything from collagen production and elasticity to wrinkle formation and inflammation — and what you can do to keep them healthy, energized, and glowing. We'll unpack how UV exposure, stress, poor sleep, and even skincare products can damage mitochondrial DNA… and why that matters for your skin's vitality and your long-term health. And yes — we'll also talk about two game-changing molecules that actually work: CoQ10 and melatonin. These two are your mitochondria's dream team, boosting energy, repairing damage, and keeping your skin youthful at the cellular level. You'll learn: ⚡️ How your mitochondria literally fuel your skin's glow (and what happens when they burn out)

On today's podcast, I share a vision I had during my time with the Lord on September 27, 2025. I believe the vision is for more than just myself. It is for all of us. We as the body of Christ do not have to waive the white flag of surrender to the enemy, rather we must make an appeal to heaven. We must recognize what God is doing and not focus on the natural. In this raw episode we dive headfirst into one of the lifestyle's most nerve-wracking moments: the day a parent finds out and isn't thrilled. Kicking off with the real life situation that just happened. We ask the question, “Do you deny it? Defend it? Or just nod, smile, and change the subject?” We explore the emotional tightrope of denial (and why it rarely works long-term), the pitfalls of launching into a full-throated defense (it can backfire spectacularly), and the art of the graceful exit acknowledging feelings without inviting a debate. Whether you're newly outed to family, dreading the day it happens, or just want to feel less alone, this episode is a lifeline. In this episode of the Ageless Future Podcast, Cade Archibald explores how white adipose tissue (white fat) can be transformed into metabolically active brown fat to improve energy, fat loss, and overall health. He explains how excess white fat impairs mitochondrial function and nitric oxide production—two keys to aging and vitality. Cade discusses practical strategies like cold exposure, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and mitochondrial-boosting peptides (including MOTS-c, Epitalon, and Adipotide). He also reviews a fascinating animal study showing Adipotide reduced abdominal fat by 27% and improved insulin sensitivity by 50% in just 28 days. Listeners are challenged to try cold showers, HIIT, and energy tracking for better metabolic function and cellular health.www.agelessfuture.comLIKE/FOLLOW/SUBSCRIBE:YouTube -https://www.youtube.com/@ReganArchibald / https://www.youtube.com/@Ageless.FutureInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/ageless.future/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AgelessFutureHealth/

TOPIC FAITH FOR DOMINION| PEC 2025 GRAND FINALE PREACHER Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa SCRIPTURES Genesis 1:26 Romans 5:17 Joel 2:28–32 Psalm 8:4–6 Ephesians 2:6 Luke 10:19 KEY POINTS 1. Dominion Is the Core of the Believer's Identity Every believer was created with a mandate to rule, reign, and represent God on earth. Dominion is not optional—it is the believer's original design and responsibility. “Your significance and value in life are tied to your dominion mandate.” Until a believer understands and walks in dominion, their full potential remains hidden. Dominion is about managing and influencing the world according to divine order. 2. The True Meaning of Dominion Dominion is not ownership—all things belong to God. Dominion is not control over people, but governance through love and stewardship. True dominion expresses itself through: Influence — shaping environments for God's glory. Stewardship — managing divine resources faithfully. Capacity — developing strength to handle divine responsibility. Dominion is not about pride or power—it is about reflecting God's character and authority in humility. 3. The Faith and Spirit of Dominion Dominion operates by faith—believing and acting on God's Word with confidence. Faith gives believers the boldness to take charge and enforce divine promises. The Spirit of dominion empowers believers with wisdom, creativity, and authority. Poverty, fear, and limitation have no place in the dominion life. A believer walking in faith for dominion becomes a channel of divine influence and transformation. 4. Dominion Is About Effective Management Dominion is responsibility—faithfully handling what God has entrusted to you. Managing your time, gifts, finances, and opportunities determines your level of dominion. Poor management leads to loss of authority; wise management multiplies influence. Dominion is maintained through obedience, discipline, and excellence. 5. Dominion Is a Lifestyle of Faith Dominion must reflect in every sphere of life—family, business, ministry, and society. Faith for dominion is expressed through everyday obedience and persistence. God calls His people to live as ambassadors of His Kingdom in the earth. Dominion is not a moment—it's a mindset, a culture, and a continuous walk of faith. CONCLUSION The Grand Finale of PEC 2025 was a prophetic celebration of faith and dominion in full display. Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa reminded believers that true dominion flows from faith in God's Word, the Spirit's power, and wise stewardship. Believers were charged to live beyond fear and limitation, walking boldly in their identity as kings and priests. Many left the convocation not just inspired but empowered to live by faith for dominion—ruling and reigning with Christ in every aspect of life. Faith is the key to dominion. Walk in it, live by it, and let the world see the Kingdom through you.
Your body does not just run on food or supplements. It runs on energy and information. This episode reveals how to harness that energy for faster recovery, stronger mitochondria, and better emotional resilience. You will learn how energy fields, frequency, and information medicine are reshaping the science of human performance, longevity, and anti-aging. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR Host Dave Asprey sits down with Harry Massey, a British entrepreneur, filmmaker, and visionary in the field of bioenergetics. In his 20s, Harry's health collapsed after a series of physical injuries, viral infections, and emotional trauma left him bedridden for seven years with chronic fatigue syndrome. Conventional medicine could not provide answers, so Harry began studying energy and information as the missing foundations of human health. His discovery of the pioneering research of Australian scientist Peter Fraser led to a breakthrough. Using Fraser's early frequency-imprinted remedies, Harry experienced a dramatic recovery and went on to co-found NES Health, now Energy4Life, to bring this new field of bioenergetics to the world. Backed by published studies at UC San Diego showing a 22 percent increase in mitochondrial efficiency and the activation of more than 1,000 genes for cell resilience, Harry's work unites ancient healing wisdom with modern physics, light therapy, and quantum biology. Together, Dave and Harry explore how bioenergetics, light frequencies, and digital information enhance neuroplasticity, metabolism, and sleep optimization more effectively than supplements or nootropics alone. You will discover how trauma drains energy, how to restore it through the body's natural field communication systems, and how wearable tech and AI are transforming functional medicine. You'll Learn: • How bioenergetic wearables increase mitochondrial energy by 22 percent • Why emotional trauma and energy leaks accelerate aging • How structured water and light frequencies store biological information • The connection between quantum biology, neuroplasticity, and healing • How energy fields regulate longevity, metabolism, and brain optimization • Why AI-powered diagnostics and frequency medicine are the next frontier in biohacking Dave Asprey is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking. With over 1,000 interviews and 1 million monthly listeners, The Human Upgrade brings you the knowledge to take control of your biology, extend your longevity, and optimize every system in your body and mind. Each episode delivers cutting-edge insights in health, performance, neuroscience, supplements, nutrition, biohacking, emotional intelligence, and conscious living. New episodes are released every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (BONUS). Dave asks the questions no one else will and gives you real tools to become stronger, smarter, and more resilient. Send us your desired health topic or guest suggestionsWhat if your symptoms aren't random but signals asking for better inputs? We sit down with Dr. Alexandra Geyer, an emergency physician turned metabolic health expert, to map a clear route from “normal labs” to real recovery. Her story of hitting a wall during residency and rebuilding health informs a practical, hopeful framework that blends advanced diagnostics, evidence-backed peptides, and everyday habits that actually stick.Dr. Geyer explains why metabolic health is the engine for energy, mood, sleep, and longevity, and how to measure it beyond the scale. We then widen the lens to hormone health, including free T3 and thyroid antibodies to catch early Hashimoto's, plus sex hormones that determine drive and resilience. The message is simple: when you fix the signals, action feels possible again.Peptides step in as precision tools, not magic bullets. You'll hear how BPC-157 calms inflammation and supports tissue repair so movement stops hurting; how Selank and Semax lower neuroinflammation, lift BDNF, and restore calm focus; and how Pinealon can reset circadian rhythm with a short, yearly cycle. Safety comes first: no black-market sourcing, strict sterility and purity testing, and clear contraindications for cancer and pregnancy. We also dive into gut microbiome testing to address stubborn symptoms and the role of micronutrients when convenience foods drain capacity.By the end, you'll have a grounded plan: build lean muscle, favor whole foods that don't hijack appetite, test what matters, repair the gut, and use targeted peptides to amplify the good habits you're already trying to keep. We talk a lot about what I call “lifestyle design” around here. When people hear that term they get the general idea, because the words are common. Lifestyle – The way in which a person lives. ~ Design – Purpose, planning, intention and thought behind an action. ` So lifestyle design means to put purpose, planning, intention and thought into how you live your life. So yep people generally get the basic concept, what people usually struggle with though is designing a lifestyle for today that is resilient for tomorrow. If you want to increase your savings, don't start with your budget—start with your lifestyle.Your lifestyle isn't about how much you spend. It's about what you prioritize. It's the visible result of invisible decisions—what you say yes to, what you say no to, and what you're building quietly behind the scenes. https://www.youtube.com/live/wZIJnteQW-g Too many people let lifestyle be the engine of their money—chasing comfort, appearances, or upgrades without ever asking: Does this reflect the values I want to pass on?Does this build up my family or just maintain an image? You don't need a bigger house or fancier car.You need a bigger vision. You need a coordinated plan that reflects your values in how you live today—and what you leave behind tomorrow. The quiet thief of financial progress: lifestyle creep. We don't see it coming. It's the subtle shift that happens every time our income rises. We eat out a little more, upgrade our phone, take an extra trip, and before we know it, our expenses grow in lockstep with our income. We think we've moved forward—but our savings tell a different story. And that's why Bruce and I recorded an entire podcast about this topic: how to increase your savings without reducing your lifestyle. Because true wealth isn't about deprivation—it's about design. Why You Can't Save Your Way to Wealth—Without a Plan Most people try to willpower their way to saving more money. They cut lattes, cancel subscriptions, and create color-coded budgets that last about two weeks. But here's the truth: you can't build lasting wealth on discipline alone. You need a system—one that helps you automatically grow your savings while maintaining the lifestyle you love. In this article, Bruce and I will show you: What lifestyle creep really is and why it sabotages your wealth How Parkinson's Law explains your struggle to save The practical tool we use with clients called a Wealth Coordination Account How to rewire your habits to save more—without cutting joy out of your life When you finish this article, you'll see that increasing your savings doesn't mean living smaller. It means living smarter. What Is Lifestyle Creep—And Why Is It So Dangerous? We live in a consumption-driven world. Everywhere we look, there's an ad convincing us we need something new. Apple doesn't ask what we want—they tell us what we didn't know we needed. The next iPhone, the next upgrade, the next experience. That's lifestyle creep. It's the pattern of spending more simply because we earn more. Bruce calls it “the hidden drain on your future.” Because when every new dollar gets consumed by an upgraded lifestyle, none of it turns into wealth. And here's the sneaky part: it doesn't feel reckless. It feels normal. Everyone around us does the same thing. We raise our standard of living instead of our standard of saving—and we end up with more stuff but no margin. Lifestyle creep makes you rich on the outside but broke on the inside. Why We Overspend—And How the Mind Tricks Us Our culture makes spending effortless. Credit cards, one-click shopping, social media retargeting—these are all designed to bypass logic and hit emotion. As I said on the show, “It's the sea we swim in.” Most people don't realize how much marketing is shaping their sense of ...
