On Monday, December 1st, 2025, our friend Glenn Hill went home to be with the Lord. Today we are re-releasing his testimony episode to honor his memory and to do what he always wanted to do, tell people about Jesus Christ.There are people you meet in this life who leave a quiet, unmistakable mark on your soul. Glenn Hill was one of those people for me. He carried himself with a gentleness that never once diminished the strength of his convictions. Glenn was thoughtful, humble, and deeply devoted to understanding the Scriptures. He sought truth not so he could win arguments, but so he could help people find hope. That was who he was at his core.I had the privilege of calling him my friend. When Glenn came on The Burros of Berea Podcast to share his testimony, I remember listening to him speak with a simplicity and sincerity that is rare in our world. He never postured. He never tried to impress. He just told his story — where he had been, what he had wrestled with, and how the Lord had led him into a deeper understanding of His promises. Glenn believed that the gospel was bigger and more beautiful than most of us ever realized, and he spent his life trying to show that beauty to others.As an author, Glenn gave us Christianity's Great Dilemma, a work that challenged many, encouraged many more, and opened doors for conversations that needed to happen. He wrote not to stir controversy but to help believers find the confidence that God's word is faithful and His story complete. Glenn's writings continue to comfort and strengthen countless people who, like him, were searching for clarity in Scripture.But beyond the book, beyond the ideas, what I will remember most is the man himself. Glenn was kind. He was patient. He listened. He asked good questions. He cared about people more than he cared about being right. He cherished his family. He cherished the faith that carried him. And he had a joy about him — quiet, steady, rooted — that you could feel just by being in the room with him.Losing Glenn hurts. It leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet I am grateful — deeply grateful — for the time we had with him, for the conversations we shared, and for the example he left behind. His legacy is not only in his book or his ideas, but in the lives he touched, the friendships he formed, and the hope he helped restore in so many hearts.Glenn finished his race with integrity. He ran it with honesty, humility, and grace. I will miss him. Many will. But I thank God for the gift of his life and for the privilege of calling him my friend.May the Lord bless his memory and comfort those who loved him, especially his wife, Lila, and his children. I hope it's a blessing.

In a filing to Judge Subramanian in United States v. Combs, S3 24 Cr. 542 (AS), the Government requests permission to admit limited additional testimony from expert witness Dr. Dawn Hughes. This request comes in response to what prosecutors describe as "forceful and repeated" arguments made by the defense during their cross-examination of the witness known as Mia. The defense, the Government argues, presented misleading implications about Mia's behavior and credibility—specifically regarding how victims of abuse are expected to act. Prosecutors contend that this line of questioning has "opened the door" for rebuttal testimony addressing misconceptions about trauma responses.The Government seeks to have Dr. Hughes offer expert insight drawn from her original notice, focused solely on clarifying how victims of abuse often exhibit behaviors that may seem counterintuitive to jurors unfamiliar with trauma psychology—such as delayed reporting, continued contact with abusers, or minimized disclosure. This testimony, they assert, is necessary to correct the jury's potential misinterpretation created by the defense's narrative. Be arrayed in the armor of light Explanation of “arrayed” as putting on, dressing, and clothing oneself with Christ and His righteousness.​ Pastoral explanation of preaching strongly against sin out of love and responsibility to proclaim the whole counsel of God.​ IV. Six Sins to “Put Off” (from Romans 13) Revelry and drunkenness Defined as wild parties, nightclubs, casinos; warning that alcohol and exposed flesh create moral danger.​ Strong appeal against social drinking and minimizing drunkenness, noting family damage caused by alcohol.​ Licentiousness and lewdness Defined as sexual immorality and debauchery; teaching that sex is for the marriage covenant only.​ Condemnation of fornication, adultery, pornography, and cohabitation outside marriage, with logical and biblical arguments.​ Strife and envy Mentioned with the other sins as attitudes and behaviors that must be cast off to walk properly.​ V. Biblical Foundation for Repentance and Transformation Reading of 1 Corinthians 6:9–11: list of sins (fornication, idolatry, adultery, homosexuality, drunkenness, etc.) that exclude from God's kingdom, followed by hope in being washed, sanctified, and justified.​ Emphasis that no sin is beyond God's power to forgive and transform, but believers must repent and turn from it.​ VI. “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ” and Make No Provision for the Flesh Definition of “make provision” as providing, accommodating, or facilitating opportunities for the flesh.​ Practical applications: avoid drinkers if prone to alcohol, remove pay‑per‑view if struggling with lust, avoid gossipers if prone to gossip, do not attach to those who tear down leadership.​ Specific rebukes: dating couples sharing hotel rooms or apartments, “playing house” for financial or convenience reasons; teaching that this is tempting the flesh and violates holiness.​ Illustration: not climbing through “dumpsters of sin” while wearing Christ's clean garments.​ VII. Call to Response and Revival Allegorical story of Satan's convention: demons decide the best strategy is to tell people there is time, lulling them into delay and spiritual sleep.​ Final threefold call: Be aware of the time. Awake out of sleep. Be arrayed in the armor of Christ.​ Appeal for repentance, surrender, and practical steps (e.g., separating, seeking counseling, getting properly married) as evidence of true obedience and not “cheap grace.”​ Invitation to the altar for all, noting both obvious and hidden sins, and insistence that the gospel is about change, new life, and ongoing dependence on the Holy Spirit.
