Find your Community: Warrior PathLife often feels planned and controlled, but what happens when God interrupts our schedules with a divine calling or a moment of purpose? In this episode, Ron Cool talks about how to recognize God's promptings in everyday life and how to respond with obedience, even when it disrupts our plans. Drawing from Scripture and real-life stories, Ron discusses the beauty of following God's lead when He interrupts our routines, how to tune into His voice, and the importance of trusting His timing in every season. This episode would naturally complement the previous one, taking the concept of leaving space in our calendars a step further by addressing how to handle and trust those spontaneous moments where God's plan takes precedence over our own.Challenge Question: What is one area where you feel God might be interrupting your plans right now? How can you trust Him in this moment and step forward in faith, even if you're unsure?Take time to think about this, pray about it, and take one small step in obedience. Remember, divine interruptions aren't just obstacles—they're opportunities for God to do something amazing in your life.Verses: Proverbs 16:9 – “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”Acts 16:6-10 – The story of Paul's divine detour.1 Samuel 3:10 – “Speak, for your servant is listening.”Matthew 14:28-31 – Peter walking on water.Links to Connect with Ron:Website: www.newpathnewyou.comInstagram: @rcooljrFacebook: Ron CoolYouTube: New Path New YouDon't forget to subscribe and leave a review to help us reach more men seeking purpose! From the Ingles Studio this is your news minute on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast presented by Credit Union of Georgia. Today is Friday, November 22nd and I'm Keith Ippolito. Body Cam Footage, Testimony in Third Day of Kennesaw Fatal DUI Trial In the trial of Jerome “Jerry” Cox, accused of fatally hitting 17-year-old Olivia Pugh while allegedly driving drunk, testimony continued with police body camera footage shown to jurors. The footage captured the aftermath of the crash, including Pugh being loaded into an ambulance. Cox, 69, has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide and DUI charges. Testimonies included those from responding officers, passengers in Cox's car, and a bystander. Officer Steven Oney testified about smelling alcohol on Cox, who admitted to drinking. The defense questioned the reliability of the officers' testimonies and the handling of evidence. Disputes arose over whether Pugh was in a crosswalk when struck. The defense also attempted to introduce evidence about post-crash safety improvements, which was disallowed. Witnesses from a party Cox attended earlier testified about his drinking, with none believing he was drunk. The trial is set to continue, with a potential break for Thanksgiving. I will be having a much needed conversation with Christian author and doula Nissa Andrews on the topic of pain-free childbirth! I had a completely supernatural, pain-free birth by the power of the Holy Spirit with my daughter back in January, and Nissa has had several. She wrote a book sharing her testimony and an in-depth biblical teaching on God's original design for childbirth, using the Truth of the Word to set women free from the misconception of the curse! In this episode, we are sharing our testimonies, breaking down Gen 3:16 with the TOTALITY of Scripture, diving into the Bible to understand how a pain-free childbirth is possible for Christian women, debunking the "name it and claim it" accusation, addressing the reality of a birth that IS painful, and offering a multitude of spiritual/emotional/physically practical advice for women to believe and prepare for a supernatural birth. Don't miss this one! Who knew that the Eagles could lead someone to Catholicism? Brad, a 19-year-old college sophomore from Bowling Green, Ohio, shared how he went from atheism to preparing for full initiation into the Catholic Church. Challenged by His Atheist Brother Brad's faith journey took a sharp turn when his atheist brother asked a seemingly simple question about Christianity: one Brad couldn't answer. That nudge, coupled with his brother's advice to “learn more about religion,” planted a seed that grew into a quest for the truth. Sometimes, grace works in surprising ways, like through a skeptical sibling. From Rock Radio to the Rosary The Holy Spirit can be sneaky. Brad's favorite classic hits station got replaced by Relevant Radio, and instead of jamming to The Eagles, he found himself listening to the Rosary for the first time. Confusion turned into curiosity, which led him to explore the Catholic faith. Talk about God working through unexpected channels. Searching for the Original Church When Brad decided to look for the "original" Christians, his research led him to two options: Catholicism and Orthodoxy. After exploring Orthodoxy for a while, something still didn't feel right. Over the summer, Relevant Radio (especially Patrick Madrid's show) became a spiritual lifeline during a faith crisis. Little by little, Catholicism became the clear answer. A Eucharistic Wake-Up Call The game-changer was hearing a talk during the National Eucharistic Congress about the profound beauty of the Eucharist. A speaker shared a story about a prisoner who, upon receiving the Eucharist, exclaimed, “I have Him, I finally have Him!” That story hit Brad like a ton of bricks. Suddenly, it became crystal clear: the Eucharist wasn't just a concept: it was a real, tangible encounter with Christ. Cue the tears in the driveway as this realization set in. The Road to Easter Now officially a catechumen, Brad is on the path to receiving Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. His life has completely transformed since discovering Catholicism. Let's not forget his shoutout to the power of Relevant Radio's ministry: it's proof that evangelization works in ways no one could predict. This story is a powerful reminder that God's grace can reach anyone, anywhere: even through unexpected twists like a converted radio station. Brad's joy and gratitude are infectious, and his story inspires hope for anyone praying for loved ones to find their way home. Also, sidenote: see if you can count how many Eagles song references are made by Patrick and Cyrus!

Sean "Diddy" Combs, the music mogul currently facing serious sex trafficking charges, is alleged to have broken prison rules by contacting potential witnesses through unauthorized communication methods. Prosecutors claim that Diddy, detained in Manhattan, has made “relentless efforts” to “corruptly influence witness testimony,” using other inmates' phone accounts and arranging three-way calls to speak with people not on his approved list. These allegations have brought the high-profile case into the spotlight, further intensifying the legal drama surrounding the star. Prosecutors have detailed a coordinated scheme in which Diddy allegedly instructed his family to reach out to potential witnesses on his behalf. According to a court filing, these instructions were captured in recorded calls, raising concerns about the extent of his influence even while behind bars. The prosecution has emphasized that the communications strategy Diddy is accused of orchestrating was sophisticated, allegedly designed to bypass prison monitoring systems and taint testimonies. In addition to influencing potential witnesses, Diddy is also accused of manipulating social media narratives. Prosecutors cite a specific incident involving an Instagram post from a woman referred to as “witness two,” which aimed to counter accusations made by singer Dawn Richard in a civil lawsuit against the star. According to the claims, this social media statement was drafted through “multiple texts” and “multiple calls” from Diddy while in custody. Prosecutors allege that the communication efforts were carefully planned, even suggesting that there was a “strong inference” of Diddy paying witness two after the statement was posted. Adding to the complexity of the case, Diddy's defense team has proposed a significant bail package worth fifty million dollars, a measure they argue is necessary to ensure he can properly prepare for trial. The package would include round-the-clock security monitoring and house arrest, but multiple judges have denied previous bail requests, citing concerns that Diddy might tamper with witnesses. Prosecutors maintain that no set of bail conditions could mitigate the potential risks he poses, given his history of influence. In court documents, prosecutors have gone further, painting Diddy as a figure with an “uncanny ability” to get others to do his bidding. They argue that this influence extends to his family, employees, and even fellow inmates. “The defendant has demonstrated an uncanny ability to get others to do his bidding—employees, family members, and [prison] inmates alike,” prosecutors claimed, adding, “There is no reason to believe that private security personnel would be immune.” This characterization has become central to the prosecution's argument against his release. Diddy's defense team, led by lawyer Alexandra Shapiro, has pushed back against the allegations, emphasizing the harsh conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Shapiro argues that these conditions have left Diddy with little opportunity to adequately prepare for his trial, pointing out that frequent lockdowns and the confiscation of pens he needs for note-taking have made it impossible for him to review the “incredibly voluminous” case materials. “Detention is stripping Diddy of ‘any real opportunity' to be ready for trial,” Shapiro contended, claiming that his constitutional rights are being violated. The defense's argument, however, has not convinced prosecutors, who remain adamant that the risk of witness tampering is too high. They have also dismissed criticisms of the jail conditions, noting an interview in which one of Diddy's lawyers described the most challenging aspect of his incarceration as the food. Prosecutors insist that the potential danger he poses to the proceedings outweighs any discomfort he may experience in jail. Despite the defense's claims of unfair treatment and the logistical challenges of preparing for trial, the allegations continue to focus on Diddy's alleged attempts to influence witnesses from within the detention center. This unfolding saga pits a superstar's legal battle against the power of the justice system, and as the trial date approaches, all eyes remain on how these complex accusations and defenses will play out. With this episode of Real Israel Talk Radio, I want to share a bit about my life's journey so that you can better understand the changes I have experienced over several decades and why I believe what I believe. In my decades-long search to find my true Jewish identity, I have come to embrace some closure in my understanding that “home” is not a place or a thing that can be found in this world. Difficult as it is sometimes hard to admit publicly, I know that home is not a land or a country on earth. It is not a birthplace, a birthright, a birth culture, and not even an aliyah, or going up to fulfill an inheritance entitlement to a piece of Middle East real estate called “The Land of Israel.” I will go so far as to say that coming home is not even in returning to hear and do the Torah – the Law. For some, this might come across as shocking. Yet, the truth is, all these concepts are essential living expressions and metaphors for everyday life that point us to our true home, which is in the King of all Kings, who rules in and from a divine government belonging to his kingdom - the Kingdom of Heaven. This is our true home in a different dimension of time and space, understood as Jerusalem above. This is Episode 164 of Real Israel Talk Radio

This is Episode 164 of Real Israel Talk RadioSupport the show

High school graduation. College. Military service. Career launch. Marriage. Children. Empty Nest. Retirement. Divorce. Health issues. Our lives are FILLED with BIG transitions. Some of them are planned and anticipated, and some of them are a surprise - because we never saw it coming. And when we find ourselves in those moments, we become incredibly reflective - looking back at what's happened in our life - and looking forward and wondering what's GOING to happen. Those transitions - those seasons - are fertile ground for us to STOP and recall what God has done for us. Because doing so helps us believe for today.

Part 2 of Adam Fairclough's visit to the Louisiana Anthology Podcast to discuss his research on race relations in Louisiana. His book, Bulldozed and Betrayed: Louisiana and the Stolen Elections of 1876, discusses the end of Reconstruction and the beginning of Jim Crow. Prior to the 2020 presidential election, historians considered the disputed 1876 contest — which pitted Republican Rutherford B. Hayes against Democrat Samuel J. Tilden — the most controversial in American history. Examining the work and conclusions of the Potter Committee, the congressional body tasked with investigating the vote, Adam Fairclough's Bulldozed and Betrayed: Louisiana and the Stolen Elections of 1876 sheds new light on the events surrounding the electoral crisis, especially those that occurred in Louisiana, a state singled out for voter intimidation and rampant fraud. The Potter Committee's inquiry led to embarrassment for Democrats, uncovering an array of bribes, forgeries, and even coded telegrams showing that the Tilden campaign had attempted to buy the presidency. Testimony also exposed the treachery of Hayes, who, once installed in the White House, permitted insurrectionary Democrats to overthrow the Republican government in Louisiana that had risen to power during the early days of Reconstruction. Today Nancy Grace and Sheryl McCollum critique the developments of the Lakeland Riley murder trial in Athens, Georgia. Nancy and Sheryl focus on the defense's controversial decision to opt for a bench trial rather than a jury trial. They cover the prosecution's compelling evidence, including DNA and video footage, emotional testimonies, and a 911 call capturing the victim's final moments. They also dive into the implications of pre-existing knowledge that a judge would have versus a jury, the emotional toll on the victim's family, and the broader political and social issues at play.
