At 11 years old, Lacey was already smoking weed, addicted to porn, dabbling with psychics and identified as bi-sexual. But then Jesus stepped in and radically transformed her life. You guys, you are going to be so inspired by Lacey's story. Lacey is 26 and a mother to 5 children. She is married to Luke Thompson and they both study at the Fire School of Ministry. (Reinhard Bonnke) Lacey's story is so powerful! What God did for her while she was in the middle of managing her sin is nothing short of a miracle. Lacey identified as bi-sexual in secret, addicted to porn and weed. Lacey talked about the demonic force that is attached to same sex attraction. At the end of the day, the empty, loveless feeling she had led her to a lifestyle of sin with no boundaries. She began to live with her husband and she got pregnant. She got married when she was 8 months pregnant. She married with intentions of getting divorced. Shortly after being married, she had an affair. Her husband found out and they decided to try to work through it. So, she cut the affair off, and got back with her husband. She got pregnant again with her second child when one of her friends invited her to a church. That Sunday they had a prophet there who was giving out words of knowledge and that Sunday she felt the presence of God come over her and immediately in His presence, she felt Jesus wipe away all her sin and in her heart she received Jesus that day. You've got to hear her full story. If you'd like to contact Lacey Thompson you can find her on FB. https://www.facebook.com/laceythompson512 Please check out my YouTube channel and give me a thumbs up and subscribe. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqRUUvD3xoYlKEJ_rMwWe-Q/videos Website: www.janetswanson.org
A new MP3 sermon from Hackberry House of Chosun is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: Extreme Devotion, Chet Bitterman Subtitle: Extreme Devotion Speaker: Bob Faulkner Broadcaster: Hackberry House of Chosun Event: Testimony Date: 8/7/2022 Bible: 1 Corinthians 11:1 Length: 3 min.
In Acts 7 Stephen stands before the Sanhedrin and delivers the longest speech in the entire book. He shows how Jesus was rejected by His own people just like Joseph, Moses, and the prophets. He refutes the testimony of the false witnesses by showing how he has great respect for the law of Moses—even calling the law “living oracles.” What lessons can we learn from this man who was “full of faith” and who fearlessly testified before the greatest leaders of his day? Join us we find out and worship Christ together!
Tracy begins our "Testimony" sermon series with the conversion of a priest and co-founder of the South African Satanic Church. How does the Good News of Jesus reach the heart of someone like this? You might be surprised.

Morning: Psalms 79–81 Psalms 79–81 (Listen) How Long, O Lord? A Psalm of Asaph. 79 O God, the nations have come into your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.2 They have given the bodies of your servants to the birds of the heavens for food, the flesh of your faithful to the beasts of the earth.3 They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there was no one to bury them.4 We have become a taunt to our neighbors, mocked and derided by those around us. 5 How long, O LORD? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?6 Pour out your anger on the nations that do not know you, and on the kingdoms that do not call upon your name!7 For they have devoured Jacob and laid waste his habitation. 8 Do not remember against us our former iniquities;1 let your compassion come speedily to meet us, for we are brought very low.9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and atone for our sins, for your name's sake!10 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of your servants be known among the nations before our eyes! 11 Let the groans of the prisoners come before you; according to your great power, preserve those doomed to die!12 Return sevenfold into the lap of our neighbors the taunts with which they have taunted you, O Lord!13 But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise. Restore Us, O God To the choirmaster: according to Lilies. A Testimony. Of Asaph, a Psalm. 80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth.2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might and come to save us! 3 Restore us,2 O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved! 4 O LORD God of hosts, how long will you be angry with your people's prayers?5 You have fed them with the bread of tears and given them tears to drink in full measure.6 You make us an object of contention for our neighbors, and our enemies laugh among themselves. 7 Restore us, O God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved! 8 You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it.9 You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land.10 The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches.11 It sent out its branches to the sea and its shoots to the River.312 Why then have you broken down its walls, so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit?13 The boar from the forest ravages it, and all that move in the field feed on it. 14 Turn again, O God of hosts! Look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine,15 the stock that your right hand planted, and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.16 They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of your face!17 But let your hand be on the man of your right hand, the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself!18 Then we shall not turn back from you; give us life, and we will call upon your name! 19 Restore us, O LORD God of hosts! Let your face shine, that we may be saved! Oh, That My People Would Listen to Me To the choirmaster: according to The Gittith.4 Of Asaph. 81 Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob!2 Raise a song; sound the tambourine, the sweet lyre with the harp.3 Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day. 4 For it is a statute for Israel, a rule5 of the God of Jacob.5 He made it a decree in Joseph when he went out over6 the land of Egypt. I hear a language I had not known:6 “I relieved your7 shoulder of the burden; your hands were freed from the basket.7 In distress you called, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah8 Hear, O my people, while I admonish you! O Israel, if you would but listen to me!9 There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god.10 I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. 11 “But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me.12 So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.13 Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!14 I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes.15 Those who hate the LORD would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever.16 But he would feed you8 with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” Footnotes 79:8 Or the iniquities of former generations 80:3 Or Turn us again; also verses 7, 19 80:11 That is, the Euphrates 81:1 Probably a musical or liturgical term 81:4 Or just decree 81:5 Or against 81:6 Hebrew his; also next line 81:16 That is, Israel; Hebrew him (ESV) Evening: Romans 8:1–18 Romans 8:1–18 (Listen) Life in the Spirit 8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.1 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you2 free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin,3 he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus4 from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. Heirs with Christ 12 So then, brothers,5 we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons6 of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. Future Glory 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Footnotes 8:1 Some manuscripts add who walk not according to the flesh (but according to the Spirit) 8:2 Some manuscripts me 8:3 Or and as a sin offering 8:11 Some manuscripts lack Jesus 8:12 Or brothers and sisters; also verse 29 8:14 See discussion on “sons” in the Preface (ESV)

We are so excited to share this episode! Kendall and Janell are best friends and business partners who run a coaching business together, but we don't want to talk about that right now. Instead, we are going to discuss how being an enneagram 9 and a 2 work in relationship! We dive right into managing conflict, making decisions, how each type moves towards stress and security, and how they've learned to call out the best in each other as they each work on inner healing. You don't want to miss this fun and vulnerable conversation!Janell is a Chek Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2 and Level 2 Certified CrossFit Trainer, having coached CrossFit for 8 years. Kendall is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and is beginning a Master's in Counseling program. Together, they witnessed in their fitness and nutrition clients, a lack of results due to a lack of CONSISTENCY. They were able to recognize this because this was their story too. They had also struggled with the same issues their clients experienced, and they recognized that willpower ALONE was not enough to KEEP results. And, most alarming, there was a lack of JOY in the journey. So they asked WHY? And this began their journey of TRANSFORMATION. A journey they say never ends as they grow and expand...a journey they walk right alongside their clients--the Go.Be.Wild. Tribe.Check out their website and follow them on Instagram!

Proper 13 First Psalm: Psalm 78:1–39 Psalm 78:1–39 (Listen) Tell the Coming Generation A Maskil1 of Asaph. 78 Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth!2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old,3 things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us.4 We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. 5 He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children,6 that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children,7 so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;8 and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God. 9 The Ephraimites, armed with2 the bow, turned back on the day of battle.10 They did not keep God's covenant, but refused to walk according to his law.11 They forgot his works and the wonders that he had shown them.12 In the sight of their fathers he performed wonders in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan.13 He divided the sea and let them pass through it, and made the waters stand like a heap.14 In the daytime he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a fiery light.15 He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.16 He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers. 17 Yet they sinned still more against him, rebelling against the Most High in the desert.18 They tested God in their heart by demanding the food they craved.19 They spoke against God, saying, “Can God spread a table in the wilderness?20 He struck the rock so that water gushed out and streams overflowed. Can he also give bread or provide meat for his people?” 21 Therefore, when the LORD heard, he was full of wrath; a fire was kindled against Jacob; his anger rose against Israel,22 because they did not believe in God and did not trust his saving power.23 Yet he commanded the skies above and opened the doors of heaven,24 and he rained down on them manna to eat and gave them the grain of heaven.25 Man ate of the bread of the angels; he sent them food in abundance.26 He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens, and by his power he led out the south wind;27 he rained meat on them like dust, winged birds like the sand of the seas;28 he let them fall in the midst of their camp, all around their dwellings.29 And they ate and were well filled, for he gave them what they craved.30 But before they had satisfied their craving, while the food was still in their mouths,31 the anger of God rose against them, and he killed the strongest of them and laid low the young men of Israel. 32 In spite of all this, they still sinned; despite his wonders, they did not believe.33 So he made their days vanish like3 a breath,4 and their years in terror.34 When he killed them, they sought him; they repented and sought God earnestly.35 They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer.36 But they flattered him with their mouths; they lied to him with their tongues.37 Their heart was not steadfast toward him; they were not faithful to his covenant.38 Yet he, being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often and did not stir up all his wrath.39 He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes and comes not again. And the camp of Midian was north of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley. 2 The LORD said to Gideon, “The people with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel boast over me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.' 3 Now therefore proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is fearful and trembling, let him return home and hurry away from Mount Gilead.'” Then 22,000 of the people returned, and 10,000 remained. 4 And the LORD said to Gideon, “The people are still too many. Take them down to the water, and I will test them for you there, and anyone of whom I say to you, ‘This one shall go with you,' shall go with you, and anyone of whom I say to you, ‘This one shall not go with you,' shall not go.” 5 So he brought the people down to the water. And the LORD said to Gideon, “Every one who laps the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set by himself. Likewise, every one who kneels down to drink.” 6 And the number of those who lapped, putting their hands to their mouths, was 300 men, but all the rest of the people knelt down to drink water. 7 And the LORD said to Gideon, “With the 300 men who lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hand, and let all the others go every man to his home.” 8 So the people took provisions in their hands, and their trumpets. And he sent all the rest of Israel every man to his tent, but retained the 300 men. And the camp of Midian was below him in the valley. 9 That same night the LORD said to him, “Arise, go down against the camp, for I have given it into your hand. 10 But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp with Purah your servant. 11 And you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp.” Then he went down with Purah his servant to the outposts of the armed men who were in the camp. 12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the people of the East lay along the valley like locusts in abundance, and their camels were without number, as the sand that is on the seashore in abundance. 13 When Gideon came, behold, a man was telling a dream to his comrade. And he said, “Behold, I dreamed a dream, and behold, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian and came to the tent and struck it so that it fell and turned it upside down, so that the tent lay flat.” 14 And his comrade answered, “This is no other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has given into his hand Midian and all the camp.” 15 As soon as Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped. And he returned to the camp of Israel and said, “Arise, for the LORD has given the host of Midian into your hand.” 16 And he divided the 300 men into three companies and put trumpets into the hands of all of them and empty jars, with torches inside the jars. 17 And he said to them, “Look at me, and do likewise. When I come to the outskirts of the camp, do as I do. 18 When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then blow the trumpets also on every side of all the camp and shout, ‘For the LORD and for Gideon.'” (ESV) New Testament: Acts 3:1–11 Acts 3:1–11 (Listen) The Lame Beggar Healed 3 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.1 2 And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of those entering the temple. 3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. 4 And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.” 5 And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. 6 But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” 7 And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. 8 And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22 So they said to him, “Who are you? We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?” 23 He said, “I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight1 the way of the Lord,' as the prophet Isaiah said.” 24 (Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.) 25 They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” 26 John answered them, “I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know, 27 even he who comes after me, the strap of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” 28 These things took place in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The church is one! Today Pastor Mark is diving into the conflict in the early church between Jew and Gentile. The Jewish believers felt that the Gentiles needed to follow the entire law in order to be followers of Christ, but that's not how it is. God made a way for each of us to be in a relationship with him without the barrier of the law. When Jesus died and was raised to life again, he paved the way for us. We can't add anything or take away anything from salvation—it comes only through faith in Christ! And, as Pastor Mark says, you and I are one in Christ. There is nothing that separates you from any other believer.
