The light of reason seems to be fading in the tumult of our modern world. While the Information Age provides us with unprecedented access to information, it also gives malevolent forces an incredible power over society. Through social media, narratives start to turn into mob rule, a tragic game of broken telephone. Because of this, we start to find more and more people that think with their emotions. Instead of impartial research, alternative facts and confirmation searches have become the norm. Knowledge is power, and the people are becoming more and more powerless. Politicians take advantage of our disarray, and manipulate their way to the highest offices in the land. Then, they damage society for their own gain, leaving our institutions dilapidated and obsolete. ThinkCritical exists to fight this decay. We interview experts, discuss important topics, and teach reasoning skills to help educate the world. Through learning how to think instead of what to think, we hope that the citizens of our great society can regain the power they once had. Hosted by Joshua Z. Miller, Adam Schwalbe, and Gregory Leung.
