This Never Happened Pod

I'm grinding personal axes this week as I seek to eliminate the remake of Kolchak: The Night Stalker from reality and revisit the Daredevil/Deadpool Annual of 1997 that messed with Man Without Fear.

This week we take on moments in franchises that read very false. First on the docket is "The Long Goodbye" a stultifying West Wing episode from season 4. Then we raid the archives to tell you whatever happened to "Whatever Happened to The Caped Crusader." Answer: It never happened.

This week we are all about bad choices in the realm of sex, gender, and sexuality as the Board decides the fate of Iron John (and perhaps the mythopoetic men's movement along the way) and revisits Connor Hawke: Dragon's Blood and that limited series bizarre decision of who was chosen to be paired up with Hawke.

For the first time, Mr. Stevens encounters a defense attorney and he might just have the upper hand (and an incredible accent) as they clash over the forgotten cartoon Fish Police. Meanwhile, the archives reveal the Jericho Season 3 comic limited series was wiped from existence and I bet you never even noticed.

Tastelessness binds together this week's pieces of pop culture: THE GENERAL'S DAUGHTER & the death blow to the Ultimate Universe that is ULTIMATUM. Thankfully, we all is said and done, the Board is here to assure you that This Never Happened.

Episode 3 sees the Board of What Exists losing its religion as the Left Behind (2000) movie is cast out into the darkness for the gnashing of teeth and such and The Draco, the X-Men storyline, is briefly revisited to remind us all that it never happened.

In episode 2 of our fledgling podcast, 2010's Alice in Wonderland is presented to be "never happened" and we look back in the vault for another bit of eliminated pop culture, Frank Miller's Holy Terror.
