BULLETIN: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN SEPTEMBER 3 2026 Trump's favorite Goebbels impersonator Maria Bartiromo has been fired by Fox - I believe directly by Rupert Murdoch - for telling Trump that Fox News had ordered her and others to not give credence to Trump's July speech in which he promulgated the hallucination that China had stolen the 2020 election which he lost, from him. That she was fired was evident from the timing: it is the proverbial "Take Out The Trash" Day (the Thursday before the four-day Labor Day weekend); she was given no chance to say goodbye; she is not leaving for another job. Oliver Darcy of Status added the detail of Bartiromo ratting Murdoch out to Trump; he reports she even forwarded the text message from her Fox bosses telling staff not to buy into Trump's latest delusion, to the White House.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We're one week away from our Seattle Seahawks kicking off their title defense against the New England Patriots, and Field Gulls managing editor Mookie Alexander joins us to break it down. We start with the Seahawks roster: the running back competition, a safety room banged up by injury, and continuity questions on offense under new OC Brian Fleury. There are also several changes to the Patriots roster: their retooled receiver room around A.J. Brown, some movement on their offensive line and veteran help at safety. Mookie responds to questions surrounding the Patriots and CB Christian Gonzalez's contract standoff, whether Drake Maye will be able to play outside the pocket in this matchup, and whether their depth on defense will matter. We close with player predictions and a look at whether Sam Darnold can finally cut down the turnovers that plagued him last season.  Join our Sea Hawkers Podcast Pickem League - free prizes for weekly winners. Welcome to episode 348 of the Löw Tide Böyz - A Swimrun Podcast! The final countdown. Zero months and only days away from the 20th edition of the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship. This is the last stop in our countdown series before we head to Sweden. We check in with hows the body, hows the mind and the hay already in the barn, and we share how we have been leaning on old race reports and course breakdowns to settle the nerves. Then we welcome back our friend Dominik Leu, ÖTILLÖ race director, for our annual race prediction show. Dominik gives us the full picture of the 20th anniversary weekend, starting with Saturday's Social Swimrun and fika in Stockholm, an open, no pressure loop built around the wildcard program that brought back so many past racers for this milestone year. He also breaks down what it took to bring a full live production to TV4 for the first time, with drone and runner coverage on the lead teams across all three categories and a free stream available worldwide. From there we get into the good stuff, a full category by category breakdown of who is lining up for the women's, mixed, and men's races. Dominik walks through the new pairings, the returning champions, and the storylines worth watching once the gun goes off on Monday. This episode is brought to you by Precision Fuel and Hydration, who we will be spending time with on site in Sweden. This is a recording of a New Jewish Narrative webinar from August 26, 2026, the first part in our Israeli Election Webinar Series. Most of the coverage between now and October 27 and then will center on the politicians, public opinion surveys, and the speculative math behind any future coalition. But this Israeli election may very well be decided by a small number of Israeli voters who are undecided. Haaretz's Judy Maltz has a special series reporting on the different communities within the Israeli electorate that may matter most. So far, in her "Countdown to Election Day" series, Maltz has already reported from: a Bedouin city that could play kingmaker, West Bank settlements where support for the far right is softening, Haifa's Russian-speaking community and its Palestinian citizens, a Chabad town, and a Gaza-border community that was devastated on October 7 and is now weighing where to put its vote. Join us for an hour with Judy Maltz to map out who these communities are, what she heard from them, and what it tells us about the 2026 Israeli elections. Judy Maltz is the Jewish World correspondent for Haaretz, where she has covered Israeli society, immigration, religion, and diaspora affairs for more than a decade. Her current series, "Countdown to Election Day," reports from the Israeli communities whose votes are most likely to determine the outcome on October 27.
