As previously stated. Movies are a big part of Chris and Jerry's lives and we tend to go off on tangents. In Episode 5, you'll see a compilation of Movie related tangents from the past 4 episodes., They even discuss the film they made titled "Where is She?" which is now available on Amazon Prime. Chris helped design and led the build for the set in Jerry's two car garage. Jerry gives Chris a lot of Kudos for the build. His great work gave the set an eerie look even before the set dressing started. Reviews confirm that viewers get lost in the scenery and miss the fact that it's inside of a two car garage. We promise to talk about something other than movies in future episodes. But I can't promise we won't get side tracked. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Watching movies is one of our favorite past times. From the time we were kids, Chris's mom and dad would drive us to and from the movie theater so that we could get our fix. As we got older, we'd ride our bikes or take public transportation to the theaters to see the latest blockbuster. We loved movies so much, that It became part of our language. We'd memorize and recite lines from our favorite films. Our friends were either in awe of our ability to recite our favorite scenes or they just rolled their eyes. Now as grown men with our own families, we still make time to go see the latest films in the theater. Inviting our friends along to join the fun. We've had in excess of 15 people gather together to watch the latest release on opening night. So it makes sense that one of the topics heavily talked about is movies. In this episode, Chris and Jerry try and whittle down a long list of their favorite movies in the following categories: Comedy, ActionAdventure, Drama, DocumentaryTrue Story, SuspenseThriller, Horror, SyfyFantasy. In one category, they're likely to have the same answer. Well, the same franchise at least. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In the last episode Chris and Jerry narrowed down their argument to the scene where Matt Damon's character "Colin" warns Jack Nicholson's character "Costello" to shut off their phones. Chris felt that it was a little too obvious that Colin was the mole and didn't like that no one was suspicious. After they both watched the film again, Jerry couldn't wait to talk to Chris and refresh their conversation from last time. Jerry was quite certain that an apology was needed and was more than happy to enumerate all the ways the past transgression could be amended. Chris and Jerry both discuss what their misconceptions were. The film had so many layers that both saw and learned new things after the subsequent viewing. Jerry admits that having closed caption on helped clear up one of the scenes that confused him. While Chris still held to some of his convictions, he admitted that he misremembered some elements that brought him to his original conclusions. In the end, both still loved the film and felt the both walked away with a better understanding of each others point of view. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Jerry remembers the day he watched the academy award winning film, "The Departed" at the age of 36 from his parents basement.... um..., ya, moving on. And how much the movie left him in awe. The action, suspense, and cinematography were so well done that he got lost in the world created by Martin Scorsese and brought to life by performances from Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, and Martin Sheen! Jerry sitting on his bed, lost in thought as the credits rolled. The adventure he'd just experienced fresh as he recounts in his mind every detail that stood out to him. The score, the acting, and the general feel of the film. Jerry mused: "I need to see that again." Some years later Jerry was talking about movies with Chris, as it was a usual subject of conversation for them. Probably talking about the latest blockbuster that has hit the big screen. Jerry began to tell Chris, in explicit detail, how amazing this film was! Chris listened carefully, paused, and then proceeded to tell Jerry; why he was wrong! Listen in, as Chris and Jerry debate the film in their usual fashion, after having not seen the film in a long time. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In the beginning... there was Chris, by only a few months. Jerry was born 10 months later, almost to the day. Because, some things just take time. Actually Jerry was a premature baby, excited to get out into the world. But that's not where this story began. We weren't born of the same parents or in the same family. Our parents didn't even know that they lived just a few houses a part. No this relationship took time. 8 years as a matter of fact. And we all know how long 8 years is to a child. Seemed like forever, until that day when Chris would be walking his bike down the man-made path through the grass of the neighboring property to Jerry's. Little did Jerry know, the trouble that would soon ensue because of this meeting. Jerry was playing in his front yard under the big tree and walked over to meet Chris. Introducing himself and starting up a conversation. Which is out of character for Jerry, since he was a very shy, innocent, caring, and honest little boy. Chris put an end to that really quick. But Jerry had a brand new Atari game system and was eager to play with someone other than his parents, so he invited Chris to come over and play. Chris excitedly raced home to tell his parents that he was going over to Jerry's because he had an Atari gaming system! When asked by his parents who Jerry was, Chris quickly thought and said, "Oh, he's a friend from school." That was the first of many times that Jerry was made an accessory because of Chris... --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
