He also worked as the goalkeeping coach for Sporting CP, S.L. Benfica and F.C. Porto in Portugal, and he was the assistant coach of J League Nagoya Grampus Eight in Japan.Coach Gaspar was, most recently, the top assistant for the country of Iran during the 2014 & 2018 World Cups.
