My name is Todd Hansen and I believe in your story! I've been proving that everyone has a story for decades by grabbing people randomly and asking them to tell me their stories. I did it as a TV anchor and reporter, as a national TV host and now as a podcaster and YouTuber. I still host a TV show.…
In this episode, I revisit a story from the past. Years ago I randomly ended up at the door of an old man who I thought was one thing and turned out to be something so much different. The man in the funny hat turned out to be one of the Greatest Generation. That wasn't the beginning of his story nor was it the end. Archie's life was more than service in World War II, as a MASH helicopter pilot, ad agency owner, model or simply the funny old guy who shuffled around town heading to his dishwashing job. Archie left a legacy we can all learn from when challenging times come our way about how to make life a marvelous experience. On TV you get to see some of the story. Now here's more of the story. #WWII #Koreanwar #vet #veteran #trippinwithtodd #NewEpisode --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
This is real. It isn't just the flu. I did an interview with someone living in Florence, Italy who has gone through all the thoughts and emotions we did. She knows what is coming for us in the United States. We can prevent it with common sense. Please listen to what she says. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
When is the best time to plant a tree? The answer is 20 years ago. But that shouldn't stop you from doing it now. Now is the second-best time to plant that tree! We explore this topic with my friend Mike Samuelson who just recently started his own podcast after finding a little inspiration to plant a tree! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
This episode features a story of a couple who has, as they are getting older, decided to never grow up! Nick and Heather are lucky that they found each other because their individual passion for one particular holiday could drive the other insane if they didn't share the same love. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
A powerful story about a mother who knew something bad was going to happen as her son went to climb a mountain. I can't believe it has been 2 years since I've randomly knocked on doors to find a story. I figured it was about time. You can see why I've never thought it was the best use of my time. :) The story turned out to be fantastic, as usual. We all have mountain to climb and we all have to step off cliffs backwards. How we handle those situations determine who we are as individuals. -------------------- https://www.youtube.com/trippinwithtodd Visit the Trippin website at https://www.trippinwithtodd.com/ --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

This week Todd is at it again. Holding a sign. Hoping someone will see it, stop, and tell him their story. This time it took a while! That's okay. He's good at dealing with rejection. He even resorted to Facebook live to get people down the the park where he was set up. Plenty of people stopped by, even fans, but it took patience before someone was willing to share. But the RISK always pays off for Todd! Another great story! And it did it all Survivorman style. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
I never know what I'll get when when I beg for a story, but I'm never disappointed. This time I set up a sign on the corner of a busy intersection. I had a cozy chair and an umbrella to protect me from the sun. I just waited for someone to stop and be willing to tell me their story. Chase Sayer dropped in and opened up about what he says is the most difficult story of his life. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
I get personal stories from everyday Americans by surprising them and asking them to tell me their stories. I never have any idea who I'll meet or what they'll tell me. For this story I decided I would try to make my own panhandling sign, but with a twist. My sign read, "Will work for story". But then I was worried it might backfire. I decided to give it a try anyway and approach a panhandler with my sign in their own territory. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
