Even in the 21st century, we still have gender-based issues. Each Sunday, join us - Arsyad, Dhindra, Jamie, and Nayra talk about different social issues that may relate to gender differences. This podcast is for those who want to know more regarding the difference between the male's opinion and female's opinion regarding certain topics. With two males and female hosts, we talk about topics ranging from fashion, video games, toxic masculinity, to sensitive topics such as sexual harassment.
Good morning/noon/afternoon/evening everyone! Sorry for not uploading any episodes these last 2 weeks... It is all Nayra's fault for forgetting to edit and upload episodes (hehe :] - Nayra). In this week's episode, we talked about personal hygiene, taking care of ourselves through skincare, and the difference between a girl's locker room versus a guy's locker room. Stay tuned to find out if the guys wash their hands after going to the toilet! Spoiler alert: this episode ain't pretty
HI everyone! this is a bit of a late upload considering how long ago it was recorded. This week we discussed several matters regarding careers and gender, how careers were portrayed in media, and our own dreams and aspirations in life. We talked about a lot of interesting things throughout this whole episode, so make sure you tune in! P.S. Nayra did not actively participate in this episode due to audio problems. Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is having a great day or night so far! This week we are talking about toxic masculinity, our experiences in encountering them, and the effects it may have on other people. This episode was recorded sometime last year, so excuse the poor audio quality. Intro music by @Thaehan on Soundcloud, "Nintendo Medley"
Hi everyone! We're so so sorry for the late upload, but this week's episode is a chill episode. We played this game called WNRS or We're Not Really Strangers, just to get to know each other a bit more. SInce we don't have the physical card game, we got the game from a website. Maybe you guys would enjoy a simple game episode to enlighten your Monday. Enjoy! Intro music by @Thaehan on Soundcloud, "Nintendo Medley"
Hi everyone! hope you all are well and fine. This week's episode is all about social media and its connection to gender. Hi guys, we changed our uploading schedule to Sundays. We thought it might be better to change it since we have been tardy in uploading. This week's episode is about friendships! We discussed our thoughts on different gender friendships, same-gender friendships, and our stories or experiences in dealing with them. In our (quite) long years of living, we have undergone various friendships that helped us become who we are now, and this episode reflects that. Enjoy! Hi everyone! Hope everyone is staying safe and is mentally stable in this climate. This week's episode will be a chill and lengthy episode. We played BuzzFeed quizzes and got interesting answers. Through that, some people mispronounced some things, received unpleasant answers, and had interesting opinions regarding Disney characters. Stay tuned to find out how you can determine your love language through a quiz about your ideal date. Intro music by @Thaehan on Soundcloud, "Nintendo Medley"
Hi everyone! we're sorry for the late upload :) Anyways, in this episode, we are talking about our family, parenting roles, secret service dads, our future dreams as parents, and others. Stay tuned to find out if Dhindra's mom is actually a cool mom or not. In this episode, we touched on the stereotypes of parents; which one is the breadwinner or which one is the boss/leader? Disclaimer: We are speaking from our point of view and experiences (we are teenagers), therefore we do not have credibility in talking about the life of parents. Take this with a grain of salt. Hello everyone!! sorry for the kind-of-late upload but here you go! in this week's episode, we will be talking about fashion - from our views, fashion stereotypes relating to gender, to Dhindra's indie style and Arsyad's e-boy accessories. We definitely went too off-topic with this episode
Hello everyone! happy Saturday everyone
Hi guys! we're back with another episode for Valentine's Day! And in honor of that, we decided to make an episode dedicated to talking about relationships and their stereotypes. From confessions to who's paying for the dinner, we discussed our opinions based on those stereotypes. Some of us even described our ideal date and type. Disclaimer: only one of us is experienced in romantic relationships, so take this with a grain of salt. Intro music by @Thaehan on Soundcloud, "Nintendo Medley"
What is your view on gender role? In the first episode, we will touch on several matters regarding gender roles - gender roles in Indonesia, our experiences that reflect those gender roles, and our thoughts on the solution of the matter. We also did a small survey with people of our age to understand their views on certain aspects of this topic. We found interesting results from the said survey. Tune in to find out more!
