WTA Weekly: Noskova wins Berlin, Bouzkova seals Nottingham title | Eala heads to Bad Homburg after Berlin heroics | Serena Williams to play Wimbledon singles | Sabalenka woes continueThis week on WTA Weekly, @nickbc30 and @aces_and_faults break down a huge grass-court weekend as rising Czech star Linda Noskova captured the biggest title of her career at the Berlin Open, defeating Jessica Pegula in a three-set final to claim her first grass-court trophy and move into the WTA Top 10 for the first time. Nick and Amanda also discussed Marie Bouzkova's title-winning run in Nottingham and what it means heading into Wimbledon, while Filipino sensation Alexandra Eala continues to turn heads after a breakthrough Berlin campaign that included wins over top players before her semifinal run ended against Noskova. With Bad Homburg next on her schedule, we assess whether another deep run is on the cards. Plus, the tennis world is buzzing over Serena Williams return to Wimbledon singles competition, and we examine what that could mean for the tournament and her legacy. We also take a closer look at the worrying trend surrounding world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, whose grass-court preparations suffered a setback after a semifinal defeat to Jessica Pegula in Berlin. Is it merely a bump in the road, or a genuine concern ahead of SW19? All that and more as Wimbledon fever builds on this week's episode of WTA Weekly.

Ashley shares wisdom from her new book, The Sowing Season, helping women see this season not as a punishment or a pause, but as a time to sow, grow, heal, and prepare with purpose. If you've ever felt like the last single friend, wondered if you're being too picky, or been tempted to settle for an almost-godly guy, this conversation will encourage you to stop wasting your waiting and start trusting what God is growing in you.Pray while you wait with Future Husband, Present Prayers and trust God with your love story with the Dear Future Husband Prayer Journal. Long-distance Christian relationships present unique joys and challenges for singles seeking godly marriage. In an era of online Christian dating, apps, and mobility for work or ministry, many believers find themselves connecting with a potential spouse hundreds or thousands of miles away. The question arises: Can a long-distance relationship honor God and lead to a healthy covenant marriage? The answer is yes—with intentionality, biblical wisdom, and reliance on the Holy Spirit. As a Christian single, few things feel as heavy as family pressure to “settle down.” Holiday gatherings, family reunions, or even casual phone calls can turn into well-meaning (or not-so-well-meaning) interrogations: “When are you getting married?” “Aren't you lonely?” or “You're not getting any younger!” For many believers, this pressure creates anxiety, guilt, and doubt about God's timing for their love life. If you're feeling overwhelmed by expectations from parents, siblings, or extended family, you're not alone. A new year, a new album and a new tour, 2013 was a big one for Pearl Jam. Riding high off of brand new album Lightning Bolt, the band took to North America for 25 shows in the fall of that year debuting brand new songs, bringing back long lost ones and revitalizing fan favorites. As they made their way across the country, they trekked to places where they hadn't been to in a handful of years. One of those places happened to be Oklahoma City. Now the Seattle natives and massive basketball fans went into the Thunderdome with a bit of a chip on their shoulder having lost their beloved Supersonics to them five years earlier. A big portion of this show features Ed and Jeff airing their grievances over the fall out of the move and sale, and even tossed in a not so subtle performance of the Backspacer track that shares the name with the former Seattle franchise. We'll go a little bit further into the story of how this sale and move all came to be, as well as how the Sonics made a cultural impact on the game of basketball that tied into both NBA Jam and the Singles film. Come for the Sonics talk and stay for the rest of the performances as we'll break down a marathon 31-song setlist featuring plenty of tracks off the new album at the time, as well as a few unexpected moments thrown in! I've been doing this long enough to say that it's kind of a big deal to hear a song that stops you dead in your tracks. A song so urgent, fresh and timely that you remember where you were and what you were doing when you first heard it. Well, Reckoning by the Havana-by-way-of-Nashville based Sweet Lizzy Project is such a song. In this episode, SLP singer/songwriter Lisset Diaz makes her annual appearance to discuss how this powerhouse of a song came together—and so much more. Reckoning is a blistering take on Lisset's native Cuba; it is a raw, honest song that takes no prisoners. Musically it hits hard—loud, crunching guitars barely hold Lisset's soaring vocals. Lyrically it hits even harder; it is a direct hit against the existing Cuban regime and all those who think they know what truly ills the country. This is also my first interview with Lisset since the passing of legendary Mavericks' frontman Raul Malo, who discovered the band in Havana nearly 10 years ago and brought them to the States. This episode is as emotional, honest and direct as any I've ever done…perhaps more so than any other. So strap yourself in and hold on as Lisset Diaz joins me again.

In this episode of Satisfied, Ryan Swanson continues the Twisted Passions series by turning from explanation to application. For those who have experienced same-sex attraction, the question is not only “How did I get here?” but “What do I do now?” Using Ecclesiastes 4 and the picture of the threefold cord, Ryan explains the biblical importance of mutual discipleship, accountability, and outflow. He challenges listeners not to fight alone, but to share what God has used in their lives to help others pursue purity and satisfaction in Christ. Listeners who have experienced same-sex attraction are invited to anonymously share a verse, biblical truth, testimony, or practical step that has helped them at https://theegeneration.org/ssa. Topics Discussed The loneliness often felt by those struggling with same-sex attraction Why Ecclesiastes 4 speaks directly to the danger of isolation The difference between one-way mentorship and mutual discipleship How the “threefold cord” illustrates shared strength and shared responsibility The importance of personal integrity in the battle for purity Why outflow is a necessary part of Christian growth A powerful testimony from a Christian school chapel where young men began helping one another pursue purity The invitation for listeners to anonymously share what God has used to help them How testimony, Scripture, and practical wisdom can strengthen others in their own fight Key Takeaways You are not meant to face temptation alone. Mutual discipleship is not one strong person pulling up the weak, but believers strengthening one another as they walk with God. God can use the very truths He has taught you in your struggle to help someone else find hope and victory. Outflow helps turn the focus away from self and toward serving others. Even an anonymous testimony can be a meaningful first step in helping someone else become less gratified and more satisfied with Jesus Christ. Victory over deceptive thoughts starts early, before consideration turns into acceptance. Ready to download the Cord App? Find it here!
