In todays episode I explore the Olivetti exhibition in the Galleria Nazionale D'arte Moderna in Rome. In the filthy labs segment, I revisit my 2012 blog on 3D printing typewriters, and discuss where the technology is at, and where it may go for collectors in the future. My apologies for my slowness in posting. I have taken on another job since I last posted, which has made my time very limited.

Welcome back everybody! Episode three includes a live guerrilla interview with Jason Chong, of the 'Vintage Empire' store in Singapore. I then enjoy a lovely day's drive in Melbourne to collect and Olympia SG1, and I tell a couple of little stories along the way. Finally, I look at typewriter and luggage selection and packing for an over-seas trip, and some of the things travellers need to take into consideration.

Welcome to episode 2! We've got John Munroe from Japan to talk about a great little SM3 that he has, as well as a few other typewriter related subjects. I also take a closer look at the SM3 'grommets' and how to replace them properly. And finally I introduce 'The filthy labs', where we try out experimental techniques to service and repair these ageing machines.

Can you believe it? The first ever Type O +VE (typo positive) podcast. A podcast for typewriter collectors, writers, typewriter mechanics and beyond! In this first episode we interview John Lavery - who is a former Olivetti workshop mechanic that went on to run his own office machine businesses. He talks about his earlier experience with Remington in the UK, and gives us an insight into the working conditions of the factory workers in Remington's Glasgow factory. He also gives us his views on the best and worst machines ever made, along with an insight into some of the interesting things Olivetti did with their electrical typewriters. Then, I head to the workshop to do a brief talk about polishing 'refreshing' the Underwood 5 carriage rails, and the products and tools you'll need to do this.
