    The Burmese military has re-taken over the recent democratically installed country of Myanmar in a coup on February 1st. Since then, hundreds of thousands of protestors have taken to the streets to demand a return to civilian rule, and an end to military occupation. Myanmar (Burma) has a long history of military occupation and subsequent crackdowns. In this episode, I briefly explain the long history of events that led to this 2021 coup.
