We Drink And We Know Things

SPOILERS (goes without saying at this point). The Game of Thrones has come to an end...but who won? Did anyone? Did the fans? Brad, Zach and Tommie tackle the series finale with the help of a special edition single malt.

The penultimate episode of Game of Thrones brings the bloodletting to King's Landing, where it gets way out of hand. The boys break down the dark, deep episode and commiserate over a bottle of King Of The North. It's a dark, deep stout from Ommegang.

SPOLIERS if you haven't seen it yet. The Battle of Winterfell is over, and it's time to head down to King's Landing for the last big fight of the series. The boys get ready with a bottle of Hand Of The Queen by Ommegang.

SPOILERS! It's The Battle For Winterfell as the living square off against the dead. With dragons, and shouting, and fire. And the boys sample a fiery little whiskey from Johnnie Walker called White Walker.

Today's beer: Ommegang Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, a "sour blonde" ale dedicated to Queen Cersei Lannister. Released in 2018, it was the second in the Brewery Ommegang's Game of Thrones series, created with HBO.
