This month we interview Adam Chiara, a communications professor at the University of Hartford (my alma mater). When I graduated in 1998 the Internet was in its infancy and most of the instruction we received was about traditional forms of media. Adam teaches social media primarily and we discuss the rapid changes that have taken place in media over the last decade. We also cover how young people who grew up with these media platforms are consuming content and the level of skepticism they apply to media in the 21st century.
