A memoir titled Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, written by Virginia Roberts Giuffre with journalist Amy Wallace, is scheduled for posthumous release on October 21, 2025, from Alfred A. Knopf (with Penguin Random House involved in audio and ebook editions). The 400‑page manuscript was completed prior to Giuffre's death by suicide in April 2025, and she had conveyed—via an email to Wallace dated April 1—that it was her “heartfelt wish” for the book to be published regardless of the outcome. Publishers describe the memoir as an unsparing and powerful narrative of trafficking, abuse, and survival, rigorously fact-checked and legally vetted, aimed at spotlighting systemic failures in human trafficking enforcement and championing justice and awareness.Of particular note, Nobody's Girl includes “intimate, disturbing, and heartbreaking new details” about Giuffre's experiences with Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and other high-profile individuals—including Britain's Prince Andrew. This marks her first public discussion of Andrew since their 2022 out-of-court settlement, which reportedly involved a multi-million‑dollar payment. In doing so, the memoir is expected to reignite scrutiny and media attention on the allegations Andrew has long denied, resurrecting his central role in a scandal many believed had faded from the headlines.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Prince Andrew struggling as Virginia Giuffre memoir set for release: expert | Fox News

FFA Prepares Next Generation of Agricultural Leaders Ahead of National Convention

FFA membership continues to grow across the country, surpassing one million members as the organization prepares for its 99th National FFA Convention and Expo this fall in Indianapolis. National FFA Marketing and Communications Lead Kristy Meyer recently joined the AgNet News Hour to discuss membership growth, leadership development, and the future of agricultural education. According to Meyer, FFA has experienced significant growth in recent years, not only in traditional rural communities but also in suburban and urban areas. The organization reached the one-million-member milestone two years ago and continues expanding its reach as more students discover opportunities within agriculture. “We had a million members two years ago and we just keep growing,” Meyer said. “We're really glad that all of our members are understanding what agriculture is and how important it is to everybody.” The organization's annual National FFA Convention and Expo remains one of the largest student leadership events in the nation. Last year's convention attracted more than 73,000 attendees, and organizers expect similar participation when members gather in Indianapolis October 21-24 for the 99th convention. FFA officials recently announced that Indianapolis will remain home to the national convention through 2040. The event brings together students from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands to participate in leadership workshops, competitions, career exploration activities, and service projects. Meyer said one of the organization's greatest strengths is its ability to prepare students for careers both inside and outside of production agriculture. “We really talk about the premier leadership, personal growth, and career success that FFA offers,” Meyer explained. While farming remains at the heart of the organization, Meyer noted that agriculture now includes more than 250 different career paths. Students are increasingly interested in technology, precision agriculture, artificial intelligence, engineering, communications, and agribusiness careers. FFA membership is directly connected to agricultural education programs offered through schools. Students enrolled in agricultural education classes have opportunities to participate in FFA activities, leadership events, and supervised agricultural experiences that help prepare them for future careers. Meyer also highlighted the importance of community service within the organization. FFA members regularly participate in local volunteer efforts and leadership programs, including the Washington Leadership Conference held annually in Washington, D.C. Another initiative launching this year is Chapter Connect, a program designed to pair FFA chapters from different regions of the country so students can learn about agriculture, culture, and production practices outside their local areas. The organization continues to receive praise from agricultural employers for producing highly motivated and well-prepared young leaders. Through public speaking, leadership development, career training, and hands-on agricultural experiences, FFA members gain skills that often translate directly into workplace success. As agriculture faces ongoing workforce challenges and increasing technological demands, Meyer remains optimistic about the next generation. “The future is strong with our members,” Meyer said. “There's a lot of hope and we have really good members. This is the future generation of leaders, and our country is in pretty good shape with them.”

In a Muslim village in East Africa, 47 people confessed belief in Christ. But then Christian persecution came. Radical Muslims went house-to-house, threatening new believers and demanding they return to Islam. All but two of the new Christians renounced their faith. Brother Paulo, a leader in YWAM Frontier Missions in East Africa, met the two young men who stood firm for Christ. He asked them how they'd stayed faithful under such intense pressure. "The experience I had with Jesus was so strong that I cannot deny Jesus," the younger of the two men told him. In places like Northern Mozambique, South Sudan, Malawi, Tanzania and other East African countries, Muslim-background believers face persecution from their families and communities. Even those who have grown up in Christian families are likely to face persecution from Muslim communities—especially if they are involved in evangelism or outreach to Muslims. Brother Paulo will share more stories from our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters in East Africa, tell how God called him into missions and describe the endurance of churches in the region amid persecution. He will also share how believers prepare to face persecution and how Christians in free nations like the United States can pray for our brothers and sisters in East Africa. The VOM App for your smartphone or tablet will help you pray daily for persecuted Christians in nations like North Korea, Nigeria, China and Iran, as well as provide free access to e-books, audiobooks, video content, and feature films. My rave review can be found here, and we talk a bit about my Spielberg movie ranking to be published on Friday, but this is just the start of our chat here. Next week, we'll get deeper into it, so prepare for at least light spoilers then. Myles has caught up with Masters of the Universe (my review is here) and Mortal Kombat II (reviewed here), so we discuss those, as well as Backrooms, which I've caught up on and reviewed here. Plus, I've seen Scary Movie (reviewed here), so that leads to a section on spoof movies. There's also some brief Tribeca talk, centered on In Memoriam, which I raved about here. Throw in a few of your questions and it's a rather focused episode...As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 294th one to date (here's to many more). TW: This episode includes honest discussion about grief, estrangement and suicidal ideation. Listener discretion is advised. There is a kind of loss that arrives without a funeral. No casserole on the doorstep, no card in the mail, no ritual to mark it. It is the loss of people who are still alive, of communities that keep meeting without us, of the versions of ourselves we performed for decades. It is called estrangement, and for those of us who came out later in life or left the faith traditions that raised us, it may be one of the most present and least spoken parts of the whole story. In this episode, Anne-Marie and her cohost Anna Empey sit with the word estrangement and everything it holds. Anne-Marie shares her experience of becoming estranged from her child, the devastation of it, and the slow, tender work of repair she is in now. Anna brings her own story of leaving the LDS faith she was raised in and learning to navigate family through boundaries, distance, and a love that refused to disappear. Together they name the things the culture rarely makes room for. That we can grieve someone who is still breathing. That healing does not require reconciliation. That rupture is not failure, and leaving is not always abandonment. Sometimes it is the most faithful thing we can do for ourselves. This is a conversation we offer without tying it up neatly, because some of it is meant to stay open. If estrangement is part of your story, we hope you find some company here. This episode mentions a previous episode about grief and coming out. After a difficult year, Toronto's Jewish community prepares to walk again

As tens of thousands of people prepare for Sunday's 57th edition of the “Walk With Israel”, Toronto's Jewish community finds itself in a very different place than it was a year ago. The 251 hostages whose fate hung over last year's event have now all been returned, either alive or for burial. While the regional landscape has changed dramatically since last year's walk—as wars fought against Hamas, and Iran are now governed by fragile ceasefires that have replacing the heaviest fighting—but many of the conflicts and tensions that erupted after Oct. 7 remain unresolved. But Israelis and Jews remain vulnerable targets of extremist violence around the world, from Australia to Europe and North America. Canada has not been immune, as tensions remain acute thanks to unabated antisemitic attacks and shootings of synagogues and businesses, political campaigns aimed at financially crippling Jewish schools and summer camps, and effigies of Israeli Jewish politicians hung during anti-Israel street demonstrations. This is also the first Walk With Israel since federal and provincial governments dramatically increased funding for Jewish community security, while introducing new measures aimed at curbing hate crimes and protecting vulnerable institutions. Four days ago, the prime minister delivered his highly-anticipated speech saying the country's civil covenant has failed Jewish Canadians. Now there will be a federal advisory committee to study the causes of antisemitism and take a “whole of government” approach to tackling it. On today's episode of The CJN's North Star podcast, host Ellin Bessner recalls how last year's “Walk for Israel” played out under heavy security along Bathurst Street, and explores why the annual march has become one of the most significant public expressions of Jewish pride and solidarity in Canada.
