Cabbacis CEO Joe Pandolfino joined Steve Darling from to discuss the company's strategic preparations to enter the U.S. market with its proprietary low-nicotine tobacco products. Cabbacis is a federally licensed tobacco product manufacturer with a robust intellectual property portfolio that includes 35 issued patents worldwide, covering its iBlend™ cigarettes and vaporizer pod technology. The company operates out of a manufacturing facility in Niagara Falls, New York, and is led by a management team that brings more than 50 years of combined experience in the tobacco industry. Pandolfino explained that iBlend™ products have been specifically engineered to align with anticipated regulatory changes in the United States. He noted that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is advancing a rule that could require a reduction of nicotine levels in all cigarettes sold in the country by approximately 95%. “The FDA is moving forward a rule which would mandate the reduction of nicotine in all cigarettes sold in the United States by about 95%,” Pandolfino said, positioning iBlend™ as a potential solution for a post-regulation tobacco market. Cabbacis' strategy centers on improving consumer acceptance of very low nicotine cigarettes, which multiple peer-reviewed studies have shown can significantly reduce smoking frequency and nicotine dependence. Pandolfino highlighted that the company's proprietary blend incorporates hemp alongside tobacco, a formulation that internal focus group research indicates is more appealing to smokers than traditional very low nicotine products. Looking ahead, Cabbacis plans to conduct additional studies in the first quarter of 2026 to support regulatory submissions. The company is targeting the submission of a Pre-Market Tobacco Application (PMTA) to the FDA for its iBlend™ products in the first half of 2026. The Senate, is preparing to vote on two healthcare bills today. One bill is a clean extension of the Obamacare tax subsidies for the next three years. The other bill is a plan that would take the money granted to the subsidies and put them into health savings accounts to help Americans pay out-of-pocket health costs. The U.S. House of Representatives, meanwhile, passed a massive $901-billion defense policy bill on Wednesday. The bill now heads to the Senate before heading to President Trump's desk.The Federal Reserve has approved a quarter-point rate cut in a divided vote. Chair Jerome Powell called the move a close call. President Trump criticized the cut as too small and said higher rates are holding back the economy. With that in mind, Jackson attacked the institutions and powerful people who promoted and enabled the federal debt. This included the banking elites and the Second Bank of the United States, the country's central bank at the time and precursor to today's insidious Federal Reserve system. Jackson couldn't squeeze the American people with a federal income tax to repay the debt. It didn't exist at the time and would have been unconstitutional.
