Black and White: Radical Grace, Raw Truth and Real Hope in a Gray World
When we celebrate Christmas or Easter, it can be easy to have these holidays just be religious observances. But when we remember what Christ has done on our behalf, these holidays are not just days off work, but moments of worship and gratitude. Bible Reading: Esther 6-10 Verse of the day: Esther 9:27, “The Jews took it on themselves to establish the custom that they and their descendants and all who join them should without fail observe these two days every year, in the way prescribed and at the time appointed.” Word of the day: Custom. It is the Hebrew word: קָבַל (kaw-bal').

Our culture tells us to be silent about our faith while they boast about their own beliefs but for such a time as this God's people must not be silent but be wise in how they communicate God's word to an increasingly pagan people. Bible Reading: Esther 1-5 Verse of the day: Esther 4:14, "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?" Word of the day: Silent. It is the Hebrew word: חָרַשׁ (khaw-rash').

The purpose of holidays can be lost to tradition, void of sincere celebration. Remember that first Christmas morning today, friends. God with us! Bible Reading: Esther 6-10 Scripture Verse of the Day: Esther 9:22(b)

I used to tell my kids to give their best in those moments when they felt like their backs were against the wall. They would never get the chance to be in that moment ever again. Each moment we live builds on the one before it and we can be defined by a moment. Bible Reading: Esther 1-5 Scripture Verse of the Day: Esther 4:14

Your color, family, desires, location was all a part of God’s plan. Bible Reading: Esther 1-10 Jeremiah 1:5 Psalms 139:13-14 Proverbs 16:9 Proverbs 19:21 Key Points 1. God created us therefore we ought to look to him for our purpose. We must read his manual for our lives which is the Holy Bible to help us with our reason for being created. The world, humans or material things didn’t make up therefore they can’t appreciate who we truly are. You are not an accident. There is only one you. We spend so much time wishing we was someone else or someplace else instead of allowing God to do something in our lives where we are. There is no coincidences, only designed opportunities therefore, everything moves you to the exact place you need to be in order to accomplish exactly what God has set for you.
