Gilbert Nazario got his start in the cleaning business as a floor technician at Reading Health System. After working there for seven years he made the bold decision to branch out on his own to start Clean Floors & More, a janitorial and carpet cleaning business. With help from his wife, Claudia, The two began their journey to “own clean” in Berks County and haven’t looked back since. Gilbert is a native of Reading, PA, a loving father, and husband, who is passionate about the work that he does as a business owner and community member. He is often seen at events sponsored by the Latino Chamber of Commerce, the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center, and the Berks County SCORE chapter. Clean Floors & More currently employs a dozen city residents and has serviced great establishments like Berks Technical Institute, Mi Casa Su Casa, Allison Clothing Company, and Lindsey EyeCare, among others. What an interesting interview with David Nazario, owner of Scared of a Day Job. David is a speaker, writer, and entrepreneur who is a great example of the new generation of business owners who can work pretty much anywhere.
